Woojin sighed. It's been two days since he had been placed in this world. He got up from the black armchair he was resting on.
'Well, I wouldn't say that it was a different world, per say.' he thought to himself.
Woojin straightened out his clothes.
'More like an alternate reality.'
After all, most things remained the same. His parents were still dead, and he was still an outcast. Except this time, he was a NOBLE outcast.
'It's really not much of an improvement, to be honest.' Woojin grimaced at the thought. 'If anything, it should only make things worse.'
Sighing, Woojin re-wrapped the bandages (that he had miraculously found in a drawer) on his arms with his magic. At least he had access to memories of the previous owner. It made things easier to process.
After digging around in his head for the past two days, he had managed to pick some pieces of his identity and put them together.
Apparently, he was Lord 'Woobin', the son of a deceased Marquees and Marchioness who had tragically passed away from a carriage accident, and was constantly picked on for being a 'defective'. Whatever that meant. Even if he had snippets of memories, Woojin had still struggled with fully accessing the memories. But still, based on the reactions of the people in his memories learning that he was 'defective', it probably wasn't a very good thing.
He buttoned his suit sleeves and checked the mirror to see if his appearance was bearable to the human eye.
Well, it didn't matter for now. Woojin dusted himself off and got ready to step outside. As a Lord of a household, he had thought that the servants would be at least a little concerned about him being a shut-in. But because of their nonchalant response, he could only assume that this was a daily occurrence.
He grasped the golden handle of the door and slowly turned it.
'Here goes nothing.'
