The school bell rings, letting us all know that classes are on end. Students howled like lost wolves, grabbing their backpacks from their seats as they ran all around the halls like mad men.
"Sana!!"
Turning my head to the left, I found myself in Yuna and Vene's slender arms as they get tighter and tighter. I giggled, giving them a tap and they released me.
"We're so happy to see you at school today!" Vene jumped, my hands in hers making me smile.
"I'm betting, all worked out well.. and that is why you're here today." Yuna added.
I nodded. "Yes.. I've found a place for me and the twins. I'm so thankful to the person who helped me.."
Yuna rubs my back up and down with a beautiful smile across her face. "I'm really happy for you, Sana. You've been praying for this so long.."
"Thank you, you two.. if you weren't here, I wouldn't have the courage to do all of this."
"So what do you say?" Yuna smirked. "Ice cream?"
Vene winked as I roll my eyes on the both of them. "Come on.. I don—"
"Ice cream!"
And yes, they still dragged me with them. On the way to their favourite ice cream shop! Yuna and Vene are born with silver spoon in their mouths. They never got to taste the food of the average class people- burger, hotdog sandwich, popsicles etc. You would think that it was really sad.. well for me, it was. To have beef steak with leafy greens on your plate every single day, if not that then.. something really classy food which will definitely not fill my entire stomach. For somebody that has a twin to raise and a job, I need something that can make me work until I am sore.
"Green tea flavor!" Vene exclaims.
"Vanilla for me," Yuna adds in while Vene over here is dancing happily. "What about you, Sana?"
"Um, I'll have the same as Vene please."
A few minutes more and the ice creams were served, I really am not fond of these but thanks to my friends, I have taken a liking to it. Vene and Yuna are both a single child.. no siblings, no younger cousins near their home, no one they can hang around with. That is when I thought that being rich, really cannot make you happy. Money can never buy you love and happiness.
"Tell us about the one who helped you find a good house," Yuna started as I shook my head from side to side with a little smile on my face.
"He's nobody," I answered.
"So it's a he?!" Vene shouts. "Oh my god! My dear Sanara has made contact with a man! I'm a proud mother!"
"Cut it out," I laughed, playfully pushing her away from me. "His name is Seven. He's someone I know from work, I don't really think you've met him."
"We have to come by the kindergarten," Vene suggested.
"Oh no-"
"Oh yes!"
"You'll just bore yourselves ou-"
"Come along, Sanara! You wouldn't want to miss this meeting, right....?"
Releasing a breath with a low grunt, I walked behind these mad women. They really enjoy this.. especially because it is the first time that I have told them I have made friends with a man.

The walk to the kindergarten was fast. And I honestly do not know why they had chosen to walk here when the truth is, they both have their car with them. Perhaps, they were really excited to meet Seven that they have forgotten about it.
"So... where is he?" Vene asks, squinting her blue eyes as she twirls herself around the place. "I don't see any man in he— ooh! Is that him?"
"Oof-" Vene quickly pulled me by the collar of my shirt then I felt her soft and warm cheek against mine. Looking in front, there stood the man that we wanted to see. In a blue polo, tucked in his black slacks and a folder in his hand.
"Is that... Seven?" Yuna asked.
"Ye-" "Sanara!"
My heart thumped. Although nothing has really happened... he just called my name! Why am I feeling like this?
"He's calling you!"
"I know! I know!" I exclaimed. "And it is making my heart beat crazy... I don't know what is wrong with me.."
"What?" They both replied with big eyes, as they turned to each other and smiled.
"What?" I raised an eyebrow at them.
"You like him," they responded.
"Eh?"
"The fact that he makes your heart go all jumpy and your sweaty palms... Sana, my dear, you like Seven."
"But I don't even know how that feel-"
"Why else would you feel that way because of him?" Yuna interrupted me. "Sana, you have never liked a guy until today. Vene and I honestly were scared that you'd never find somebody who is worth your attention. For as we all know, there are big and strong walls around you. Walls that are hard to break."
"To see you like this right now, is really surprising," Vene added with a soft chuckle. "But it was a good thing. We always worried that you'd never try finding romance because we know that you've devoted your whole life to the twins- Savannah and Sylvester. Seven was the only person who made you tremble like this, Sana.."
"But I truly do not like him that way..."
"Hi, Sana," I jumped as I heard his voice and he standing in front of us. Wearing that big bright smile, his hair shiny and styled which made him look more attractive. Woah what?
"So.. I'm assuming they are your friends?"
"Uh- um.." I stammered. "This is Vene and Yuna.. they're both from my highschool and we're, yeah.. friends! They're my friends!"
"Well it is nice to meet you, girls. I'm thinking that you already know me but anyway, my name is Seven. They call me Sev though, just to make it short. Sana and I have been working together for months now. This is honestly the first time she's ever brought friends to work," he giggled.
Vene laughed along with him. "That's because little Sanara here doesn't ever want us to know where she works at.."
"Oh really? Why is that?" He looks down at me; I swallowed.
"You see.. Sana has always been shy. She is not good with interacting with other people.. and perhaps, that is the reason why she wouldn't tell us. She doesn't want us to know that she didn't make any progress despite having working here for months now..." Yuna answered, tucking my hair behind my ear as I slapped her hand away making her snicker.
Ugh.. they really are enjoying this!
"But we are happy to know that you are her friend, Sev," Vene smiles. "We thought that little Sana here is eating lunch all by herself.."
"And talking all to herself.."
"And walking home on her own.."
"Cut it out!" I whispered, trying to be as loud as I can so they would hear.
Seven laughed, sounds are echoing all around the room and it is all that I can hear from this room. This was not the first time I have heard him laugh but it sure is the first time that I have felt this way just because he laughed. Am I even making sense over here? I don't even know what I'm talking about..
"Don't worry, Sanara is in good hands.."
"Ooh.." the girls looked at me with teasing smirks. "Good hands.."
"Girls-"
"Sana is really doing a great job," Sev cuts in. "She loves the children and they love her back. It could be because of her siblings that she is so good with kids, but they all like her. More than their actual teachers." He giggles.
He's sparkling and shiny.. everything about him is so bright. It is hurting my eyes but in a really good way.
What is this?
"Sir Sev! Sir Sev!"
The little humans cried, tugging on his polo and hands, he quickly turns to the three of us with a small bow. "I'll see you again next time, the kids are calling for me I need to go."
"Sure! Have a good time with them!" Vene screamed.
"Still going to deny it, hm?" Yuna asked, placing one hand on her hip as she glared at me.
"There is no use, Sana.. you are so obvious. Well of course, the man over there does not have any clue about how you're feeling.."
"Really?"
"Really?" They repeated. "So you admit it?!"
"Eh?! No!" I shouted.
"Come on! You know you like him!"
"No I don't! I won't ever!"
"Liar! If you're not going to admit you like him, I'll go out with him!"
"No-! I mean... go!"
"You're way too easy to read, miss Copley.."
"No you're all mistaken!"
I like him. For the first time in sixteen years.. I have found somebody that I feel I can open my heart to. Somebody I think I can trust and rely on to.. somebody that is worth my love and affection, other than Sav and Yves.
I like Seven.
