<[Fishing Skill - Novice] successfully learned!>

"Reinforced Fishing Pole (Lifestyle Class Item - Non-Combat)
-30% Fishing power
-20% chance of getting a fish.
~~~
As the name suggests the fishing pole can't be used as a weapon because it is a non-combat item. But, some lifestyle class items can still have some combat capability. Such as a Blacksmith's hammer, Tailor's shears, or a Chef's knife. There's also some of the High tier Lifestyle Class Item that's usable for combat but is hard to come by.
Learning the Fishing Skill is just a start as it levels scales from Novice to Legendary. (Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, Grandmaster, Legendary) Once a Lifestyle Class reached Advance Level they will learn a special skill accordingly. For example, a blacksmith will learn the skill [Steel Will] that will boost their Defense and Strength.
Another example is the Apothecary's [Life Drain] which will take a portion of your life to lessen a skill cooldown.
"Very good Young man! I shall thank you. Young man, you've still got a long way to go, but I see that you've got potential. Now, if you a accompany me for a while I shall help boost your fishing knowledge."
And there, Magnus the Legendary Player(as players suggest) was never seen again. People expected that he will kill more bosses and advance further and leave everyone in the dust. Yet after his first boss kill he was never seen in the World Notification.
Even his only in-game friend Fiery Wing can't contact him. Players played for a month( 3 months in-game) not a single news was heard about him. Almost all of the players who knew him have already forgotten about him.
...
Meanwhile in the Bandit's stronghold...
"Old Connor can we really defeat the boss here?"
"Of course Lil' Wing, we're already level 30 and all we need is to raise our reputation to [Worship] and we can go to a major city."
"Yeah, if you say so."
"Come on! Cheer up. Even Mystic Warrior killed Arthur and he's not even Level 15 at that time."
'You already said that line for like the 30th time.' Frost Wing mumbled himself.
That two is Fiery Wing and his friend Mighty Connor a Magician. They've been struggling for a few days now, although they have several good items and is both a professional player that even has a fan base it is not really easy to defeat Arthur.
To Arthur, they're just like a paper. Mighty Connor has very high magic damage and can compete with archers on kiting mobs but a single mistake still means death them.
When they're only halfway on killing it, Arthur will use Hide and sneak attack on one of em' and the other will definitely die soon as well. Mages still don't have the skill Sensory which is a passive skill of magician as it will be unlocked when they reach level 35.
They're already at level 30 but, you need to leave the village and go to a city in order to unlock level 31. Unfortunately, in order to leave the village, you need to have a reputation of [Worship]. And hell it takes a lot of time if you just do quests regularly. So people mainly didn't decide to do so.
The other way is to kill the boss, which precisely the way players prefer. But Arthur is really hard to beat even for pro players like Mighty Connor and Fiery Wing. When Arthur's HP reaches 50% he will use Hide and attack with Cleave and one-hit-kill them.
Only a few players manage to kill him, the only way to counter his Hide is to have the burn effect. The burn effect can be triggered by fire attacks such as a Mage's fireball or an Archer's fire arrow. Unfortunately, Connor is an Arcane Wizard. Though they could ask for help as a pro player they first have to do it the hard way and will only ask for help when they have no other options left.
In the lake, Magnus is beaming with happiness. The hard work finally paid off!
Truly, Magnus is in training, from his vocabulary its called "seclusion". At least for a month, after paying for the rent and he's never seen outside and focused in Fishing solely.
He just reached [Fishing Skill - Master] which has 60% of getting high-level equipment. Since he found out that he could get pieces of equipment when fishing he decided to level it to the max. But, for now, he would pause for some time.
He also learned the Fisherman's skill [Calm Mind] which can remove certain minor debuffs and stun effects.
Now he got least several thousands of different kinds of fishes, hundreds of Bronze Tier items, dozens of Iron Tier, a dozen of Silver, and two Gold Tier. And with his incredible luck, the to Gold Tier equipment is for lifestyle classes.
He rented a whole storage house for those items he can't store, specifically fishes. He spent 5,000 USD for an 8 square meters storage room. The items you store will be movable into another storage room or a house if you have one.
"Fisherman's Ring of Fortune(Gold Tier)
- [Special Effect - 60% chance of getting rare fish]
- [Special Effect - 10 % chance of getting rare items]
- [Special Effect - Chances of (Evade) increased by 20% and the chances of getting Debuffs is reduced by 40%]
- [Luck+15]"
"Sprinter Pickaxes(Gold Tier)
- [ Mining Speed +120% (Mining Speed is calculated by STR and AGI)]
~~~
Although Lifestyle Class's items don't have an astronomical effect in terms of fighting. It is a huge sensation for Lifestyle Class. Especially the Pickaxes as it give 120% mining speed. Typically Lifestyle classes don't have a lot STR and AGI since they don't focus on combat so a 120% mining speed is a game-changer!
As for the ring its very suitable for Magnus as he needs profit more than anything now. With its additional luck, he would get a lot of equipment that he could sell.
The quest can't be continued for now for the simple reason of level requirement. He needs to get Level 60 and reached the Grandmaster Fisherman Level. It would be the last quest.
Level 60 is quite an easy task but reaching the Grandmaster level on Fishing is a predicament. Not only it will take a lot of time, but it would also cost a lot of money. But the income is quite amusing especially for him, he's a very lucky player.
But now all he has to do is sell the equipment and maybe the fishes too. Unless he learned the Chef Class he wouldn't have any use for it. He would just need to pick on where to sell it.
There are four options when a player wants to sell items. First is to Auction Items which would require one owning an auction house. Next is to build a Shop, which of course requires owning a shop but in order to own a shop you need enough reputation. You could also rent stalls in business districts. The third is the Trading Hall, every city has a trading hall, in Trading Halls you can sell items as. The downside is you'll have to pay tax. Lastly, the player to player transaction which is the only option that doesn't require one to be in a City. But is the least recommended by the system for the reason of trickery. The system will not involve itself unless the two have a contract.
To all the other options only owning a Shop or an Auction House is what Magnus considers. First, the didn't need to be in the store/Auction house in person as he could hire AIs in his place. Next, he didn't have to personally contact buyers. And lastly, the currency use could be USD which will directly be transferred to his bank account.
But, naturally, he needs to be in a City first and increase his reputation. That's his first agenda!
So he headed to the Village Chief, coincidentally he encountered Fiery Wing and Mighty Connor.
"Hey! You're Fiery Wing, right? How have you been doing?" Magnus shouted.
Fiery Wing looked to where the sound came from and exclaimed "Hey Brother Mystic! It's been okay, only that we've got a Lil' problem. Anyway, you? Haven't seen you in the World Notification for a month."
While Fiery Wing is talking Connor noticed Magnus and sized him up. 'Tall, elegant, noble mannerisms. Added with the mask, he seems mysterious as well. I can't seem to see his level nor his equipment looks good. Wait? Hi's finger has a shiny gold ring? Seems like a Gold Tier item. Truly an incredible chap.'.
"Oh need some help? I'm still level 21 cause I've been busy fishing(fishing and other Lifestyle Classes gives exp every successful attempts. Such as when a fisher caught a fish)."
They found it hard to believe that he's still Level 21, on the first day he's at least 10 levels ahead of everyone. Yet now he's still level 21, but when they heard fishing they both thought 'No wonder'.
"Uhh, okay. But, ahmm...yeah! Can you help us?" Fiery Wing found it weird for a Legendary chap to choose lifestyle class and even worse he chose Pugilist as a sub-class.
"Sure what's up?" Magnus asked enthusiastically.
"My friend here, Mighty Connor, and I have been struggling to defeat Arthur the Bandit. Would you be so kind to help us?"
"Oh! Of course, I can!" Magnus said and his friendly gaze spotted Connor and politely said" I'm sorry I thought you two don't know each other. I'm Mystic Warrior, nice to meet you."
Seeing the warm gaze of Magnus, Connor immediately shook his hand and said with a smile "Don't worry its nothing, my brother's friend is also my friend so please consider me as a friend too."
After the formalities, the three of them formed a party and headed to the bandits' stronghold.
Although Magnus has something to do, he finds it nice to socialize in this new world of his. He even thought that some people here are really weird. Some are afraid of wolves, bears, or lions. In his world even the most alpha wolf is scared seeing a two years old child. Animals don't engage in fights as long as you avoid their territories.
But here, people will take a detour to avoid the wolves(mainly because players don't want to get close and attracts its aggro).
As the trio arrived they found people gathering in the area. Two groups are fighting each other...
