"D*mn, brother Mystic how did you do that?" Connor spouted, amazed.
"I don't know, but people call it a sixth sense." shrugged as he looted the boss. Unfortunately, he didn't get anything useful so he gives it to the two. Which of course the two refused, politely.
"Bro without you we wouldn't defeat the boss, just keep it. If it doesn't have any use for you then just sell it," said Connor.
"Yeah, you really should keep it bro." agreed Fiery Wing.
"Okay then. By the way, what do you guys plan next?"
"We're heading to a city, a beginner village has a level 30 cap. Players need to go to a City in order Level up to 31. You brother what do you plan?"
"Actually, when we met earlier I was supposed to go to a city. But when I saw brother Wing here I decided to talk to you guys."
"Oh then, let's head to the village chief."
...
"Wait? Brother Mystic what City are you going?"
"Huh? I thought you would be randomly transported." Magnus said.
"Actually no, you can pick where you want to go. Let me explain..." Fiery Wing then took the opportunity to show off his big brain.
Basically, the Introduction of the game is that once upon a time the world lived peacefully. Seven Nations, representing each God they worship - Northern Continent Goddess of Magic, Royal Elf, Miranda. Eastern Continent God of Combat, Dragon Demon, Roznok. Western Continent God of Beast, Royal Dragon, Draco. Southern Continent God of Holy Light, Humanoid Angel, Nurak. Central Continent God of Archery, Human, Azula. Cursed Continent Evil God, Hellborne Demon, Wilur. Tinkerers Continent God of Mechanical Arts, Cyborg Dwarf, Kojmir.
They all basically live in harmony. Until one of the people from the Southern Continent snuck into the Cursed Continent. After they got back, they had become undead which angered Nurak, the God of Holy Light. He thought that Wilur the Evil God attacked his people. Thus starting a war between the two. Soon enough other Gods joined the battle except from ,Kojmir the Cyborg Dwarf. This caused endless chaos, luckily the God Of All (the system) made a decision and separated all the opposing continents. Now if you don't have a boat you can't go to another continent.
Each continent has 25 cities. Once you pick a continent, the Faction of that continent will automatically turn Friendly(worth 10,000 reputation points) while the opposing faction will turn Hostile(-10,000 reputation points) to you (e.i, Holy Light Faction[Friendly] - Evil Faction [Hostile] and vice versa. Combat Faction - Magic Faction. Human Faction - Beasts Faction. Only by picking Mechanical Arts Faction won't affect your reputation of other factions.)
After arriving at Village Chief the two asked Magnus.
"Bro, what Faction will you join? We'll just tag along with you."
"Yeah, wherever you go, we go too."
Magnus pondered for a moment and said "Okay then, I'll choose Combat Faction, Azure Dragon City!"
...
After a few minutes of waiting, they finally arrived at the Teleportation Pad. Once they arrived in the city, they can never ever come back to their Beginner village. The Beginner village only serves as a platform for players to get used to the game. Basically, all that they can find in a Beginner village can also be found in a City.
The trio stood in the Teleportation Pad, Magnus then pays the Guardian three Space Jades(a jade used to power the Teleportation Pad, besides that no other uses. You could also buy these things in a City shop.) given to them by the Village Chief.
The mumbling Guardian activated the pad, it shone brightly. In just a matter of seconds their vision turned blur, their images distorted. And soon enough they regained their vision and what appear to their sight is a City with a medieval style. A lot of different kinds of NPCs wandering around.
"Kind warriors, would you like to buy boots that can let you fly?" shouted a merchant.
"Kind warriors, their no such thing as flying boots. But! My potions here can make you as strong as a dragon!" exclaimed another merchant.
...
"Okay, guys here's the plan. Since I can't establish a guild till' I got to level 45, we'll do our own things first. Do some quest, level up, or something. I'll notify you guys once I reach Level 45. I badly need a guild for building a shop, so I'll prioritize leveling up first." said Magnus.
"Sounds good. Me, I'll go sightseeing and familiarize myself," replied Fiery Wing.
"Okay. I think I'll go do some quest."
...
And with that, they took their own ways. Magnus strides his way to a Level 40 farming place. This place is filled with Orcs. Big and green, partnered with a gruesome face they'll definitely get to Top 10 most hideous being ever existed. Well in the game of course.
The place has quite a good environment. Plains trees, grassy ground, a river nearby, and a pathway leading to a cave in the nearby mountain. There are a few huts, which is where the Orcs probably live. There's also an NPC Orc at the entrance of the biggest hut that has a red cross sign on it, which is a First Aid room.
Without further ado, Magnus checked the Orc's stat.
"Elite Orcs, Level 40
HP - 10,000
MP - 2,000
P-Attack - 1200-1500
Def - 500
[Skills - Rush, Body Slam, Smashing Strike, Berserk]
Rush will add movement speed. Body Slam from the name itself, the Orc will slam its body to its opponent stunning it for 2 seconds. Smashing Strike is simply a strike from its weapon (club, mace, ax). While Berserk is quite troublesome as it doubles the Orcs attributes in exchange of 50HP every second.
Magnus is quite ecstatic as he sees potential from the Orc. As not like Arthur, these Orcs are much harder to deal with. Especially with its Berserk than can double its speed and damage. It is definitely troublesome. But, Magnus isn't a bit afraid at all. All he wanted in this new world is to experience tough challenges. Except for money and sexual pleasure, only fighting can make his body excited.
He cracked his knuckles while slowly walking to an Orc. As the Orc notice him it roared and rushed to him raising his club. Unfortunately, Magnus's movement speed is much slower than the Orc and thus he can't kite it and could only fight one head-on.
The Orc used his skill and slammed his body to Magnus. But Magnus has already moved to the side evading the blunt attack. As its back exposed itself, Magnus used Frontal Kick stunning it for a moment and kicked it laterally. Followed by a wallop, thus completing a 3x combo.

The Orc's life is almost halved by a single 3x combo. True damage yet proved its usefulness again. Under a minute the Orc is already dead and dropped an Iron Tier item meant for Warriors. Just from one kill, he leveled up from Level 21 to Level 22.
Although he got a piece of equipment and also leveled up, Magnus isn't satisfied at all. He expected that it would be quite a fight, but if not for the Orc's 10k HP it would be killed even sooner. It is not that his opponent is too weak, but because he's just too f*cking strong. As the saying goes, 'It's too lonely to be peerless.'
He farmed for exp here for 3 hours straight and he finally reaches Level 35. He got quite a number of equipment but not a single is worth mentioning. It's now much slower to level up, he would get 2% exp for every kill (he needs 100% exp to level up) and he can kill three Orcs every two minutes. He needs at least 35 more minutes to be level 36 and at least a day to reach level 45. Magnus is a just a person so he's not perfect at all, but out of the things he lacked perseverance isn't one of em'.
But for now, he decided to take a break and approached the Orc 'Nurse' at the hut.
"You. Warrior. Seem. Strong. You. Warrior. Help?" asked the Orc Nurse with a slight knowledge about the human language.
"Sure, how can I help?" asked Magnus.
"You. Warrior. Help. Make. Barthus. Head. Cure. Barthus. Strong. But. Barthus. Head. No. Good. Barthus. Kill. Orcs." said the 'Nurse'.
"Sure." Magnus immediately accepted the quest. Although he's doesn't yet know Apothecary, soon when he learns it the formulas would be useful.
As you can see quest such as this already has a description and clues. While the Chain quests he received didn't give any descriptions when he received it. Only when a task is completed did the Chain Quest reveal what's next. Chain quest doesn't also reveal what rewards he/she could get. Thus the quality and difficulty of the two could is easily discerned.
Magnus then sprinted to the map that shows where the Barthus is. It was a cave with a few lit torches inside. He could hear snoring, a loud one. Inside, a huge Orc could be seen, a really huge one. It would take at least 3 or 4 normal Orcs just to resemble its size. That's only with size but in terms of strength its at least par to 10 of them.
"Barthus , Level 40 Boss( Silver Tier)
HP - 1,000,000
MP - 50,000
P-Attack - 8,000-10,000
[Skills - Rush, Body Slam, Smashing Strike, Berserk, Orcs Pride, Strengthen]"
A whopping 1 million HP, if both Orcs Pride and Strengthen are to be activated simultaneously while Berserk is on its attack could double while it will add 50% more movement speed. This means that no matter how strong you are, it would be impossible to solo this kind of boss.
Fortunately, that doesn't apply to Magnus, as his motto was always been 'There's nothing impossible, only difficult.'
The key to defeat the Orc relies on Speed. While Magnus doesn't have speed enough to match the Orc's, he has predictions. Strength can be defeated with speed, while speed can only be defeated by speed itself or predictions.
If you manage to predict what your opponent's next move is, even how fast he is you'll manage to either defend or evade.
With this mindset in his mind, he started to the battle by throwing several rocks to wake the Barthus up. He only has 8,150 HP which isn't enough to tank his damage so he decided to test if the Barthus speed first.
"Argh!! How dare you disturb my slumber!!"
Barthus immediately throw his body with a reckless attack on Magnus. Strangely, it spoke a human language fluently.
"I shall bring death in exchange for your ignorance." Barthus voice rang inside the cave.
Barthus is smashing his club to Magnus as he yells, while Magnus executed a strange movement technique. He seems like a fly with thousands of eyes, whenever Barthus's club is an inch away from hitting him he would suddenly disappear. He seems like dancing, the way Barthus attacks while Magnus evaded seems like orchestrated.
After a few more minutes of 'dancing,' Magnus finally got used to his opponent's fighting style. He knows every single detail, at least from what Barthus shows him. But since this, a boss and all the skills are already indicated in the description there would be no secret moves. Thus he said with a smirk, "I shall beat you under 2 hours with that thick HP of yours."
