Chapter 28 - Chapter ii

"what do you want with him?" Anaximander screamed as the two disciples and Tovuo stood outside.

"My name is Tovuo what is yours?" he asked extending his hand.

"Juno and this is my fellow disciple Hermiadies" she said gesturing to the young man.

"leave this simpleton alone. He's probably just some gigantic freak of nature." Hermiadies said cutting off Juno.

Without hesitation Tovuo picked Hermiadies up off the ground slamming him into the ground. Juno stood shocked.

"sorry I'm a bit 'simple' was that not what you asked for?" Tovuo explained.

Alexander came bursting out of the hut yelling "what the hell! He is the half son of a god! Do you have any idea what kind of mistake you've made?"

As he spoke the horror on Anaximander's face grew into an unparalleled fear. "g...g…g...god?" he shuddered

"this is the son of Demeter." Alexander said picking him up off the ground.

Anaximander fell to the ground and began to pray. Without breath constantly falling to the ground as he kissed and prayed. Bowing again, and again.

Through Anaximander's sobbing few could get words in else wise. Finally, with one hand - much like Anaximander had done to him – Tovuo picked up the sobbing man and placed him on his feet.

"Do not fear such feeble things as god or demons" Tovuo calmly stated.

"Son you do not understand!" this time Anaximander started to plead with Tovuo. "these are the gods, that make water and rain, sun and stars. You need to apologize!" He turned back to the old scholar to start up again.

"SILANCE" Tovuo spoke slowly pronouncing each syllable clearly. His voice seemed to carry past nature itself.

The two disciples who were once eye level with Tovuo now felt their necks craned upwards as they gasped open mouth silently screaming for air.

Even Alexander found himself on two hands and knees drawing very difficult breaths.

"I will give you this once chance to leave and I do suggest you take it and go."

With Tovuo's last words the atmosphere eased. The sound of wind rustling the tree's and rolling over the dirt could be heard as Juno, Hermiadies and Alexander started to breath.

Alexander did not hesitate with each arm he grabbed an apprentice and quickly spoke; "the great philosopher Alexander gives his thanks to this young Titan!"
