The entire sect was not quiet. Even the great ancestors came out of seclusion to inquire about the youth and all questions seemed to fall upon Sarah. Who claimed, as she always did that, he was simply a mortal who she made an exchange with. Quite frankly several cultivators had come across him over the years and more often than not; they had traded with him in some small way. Worse was how vocal Sarah had originally been when gaining access to the sect.
Initially she thought it was a test. All the cultivators pass through a mortal village and a begging young boy held her key to absolution, a dagger so strong it defended her as she moved up through the sect. After constantly ranting about it upon her return, she was eventually explained her mistakes. Although now the upper echelon has been rendered speechless in the face of a rogue cultivator.
In a small round room several characters of varying ages sat amongst each other chatting joyfully.
"What is a core formation nomad doing in this area?" A younger man dressed in white asked.
"It's been ages since the Nascent Soul devoured all of our countries Core Formation experts, do you think we can finally rise?" An old man countered.
"It's no use," a quiet voice claimed allowing for no rebuttals. "The Nascent Soul said this county shall never birth a Core Cultivator again." The woman finished taking a sip from her teacup.
"That was only a prophecy the Nascent Cultivator is not all knowing." The younger man argued.
Setting down the teacup she spoke slowly; "It was not a prophecy it was a promise. One that involved killing if I'm not mistaken."
The woman's words took the room whole. The chance that this rouge cultivator could bring both chaos and opportunity was simply too much for the small group of formation experts.
Far away out back of a small inn sat a youth named Hatzu looking over several books and notes sitting in the lotus position.
"Has master found all his ingredients?" The innkeeper asked hopefully.
"No, it seems somethings are too difficult for mortal hands to attend, I will need to travel soon." Hatzu explained.
"What will that require young master?" The man asked clearing up some of the papers before Hatzu.
"It means we must settle all the businesses for while I'm away."
Hatzu was no fool. In the early years he seemed lavish but having bought every company he could afford in every city he travelled too. Eventually this began netting him a fairly sizable income – and that income needed proper management.
Quickly he found the task of spending the money far to taxing. All the items he wanted where immortal items too valuable for gold. Due to this simple discrepancy he only spent mortal money on mortal business and gained mass wealth in countless cities.
After settling the last of his mortal business Hatzu intended on traveling for more beast cores. The first three launched his strength beyond Imagination and even took him into the realm of Immortality but the much stronger dragon core did little to advance his strength despite its natural power.
