Me: i'm taking this one!
Matt: the goblin extermination? I know you're a powerful one lad but this is a party quest... and i don't think the brats can help you much, this is a platinum party we're talking about.
Me: i'm fucking taking this quest and nobody can stop me!
Matt sweatdrops at the burning enthusiasm and fiery determination in the form of an angry crusader. He looks at the party for help but they all just shake their heads or shrug.
Matt:!!! You kids aren't stopping him? Aren't you worried for his wellbeing at all?
Lana: uncle Matt, if you have seen his powers before you'll think the same thing as us.
Matt: this is an entire goblin encampment, what could you have possibly seen for you to be so confident about his abilities?
Luna was about to tell Matt about it but i just put a hand on her mouth to stop her
Me: that would just ruin the surprise, i'll see you guys by nightfall oh and hand this list to Roxanne, i have big plans for tonight. Oh and tell her not to worry about it, i'm paying for the ingredients.
Jacob took the shopping list and his eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets. The others including Matt were curious of it and took a peak only this time, their jaws hit the floor.
Lana: Lords above what is this list. 15Kg of beef,1L of cooking oil,15 big onions,30 cloves garlic,30 teaspoon of black pepper and sugar and cumin seeds, a jar of salt, 2 sacks of flour, 45 loaf of bread, 15 stick of butter,....
Matt: Oi kid are you trying to cook a feast for royalty or what? why would you need so much?!
Me: it's a surprise oh and here's the money for the stuffs.
I hand Lana 2 gold coins and Luna just faints from the sight of it. The rest weren't fairing well either, Jacob looks like he's experiencing a mental battle to snatch or not to snatch the coins. Derek's eyes turned glassy like someone just stole his soul. And Matt was downing a canteen of whiskey he pulled from behind the counter. Lana was just giving me a 'are you stupid' look. I guess i can't blame them though, that was the equivalent of 20000 dollars i just gave away... for groceries.
Lana: Yosif are you sure you understand the currency here?
Yosif: of course i know the currency, the change is used for other things too you know. I still haven't pay you back for the scroll and whatever is left after that goes to Roxanne so she can renovate the inn.
Lana: *sigh* just... do your quest. I have to ummm... fix my friends.
[About 30 minutes later]
Alright so the whereabouts of the goblins is in the deeper part of Yanto forest in a vast cavern to the East. The dungeon i came from was leaning towards West so i'll just take the opposite way to get there. *rustle*. GOLBINS? i draw my sword ready to stab the disgusting the gremlins that is a mistake from god. Oh wait nevermind, it was just a big ass Cobra *Hiss*.[observe]
Steel Fangs Viper
Level:20
Hp:400
Atk:40
Description: a rare beast well known for its massive size and near unbreakable fangs without proper tools. It's extremely dangerous for adventurers to fight it with the addition of its paralyzing venom and regeneration. However, the thing has a weak spot at a section at its tail where there not as much scales.
The snake lunges at me and bite me in the forearm and i could see the massive confusion on its face when i just stood there unflinching. Being Undead has its perks, like immunity to poison although not the corrosive ones because that can still melt me. *Shank*. While the snake was still confused, its weak spot was wide open and i just push blood reaver all the way through. It gave one last hiss before just falling down and die instantly. Am i too powerful or is the people here too weak? Oh neat loot!
6 silvers, 3 {viper scales}, 1 {vial of paralysis venom}
{viper scales}
rarity: uncommon
description: scales harvested from a large wild viper with medium durability. Its toughness is that of low-grade steel but the scales are incredibly light, suitable for making lightweight armors.
{vial of paralysis venom}
rarity: uncommon
description: roughly about 100 ml of venom extracted from a mid-grade viper. Can incapacitate an opponent on contact for 4 seconds although opponents with high resistance can resist it.
Well that was kinda crappy but considering the amount of effort put into killing the viper, i'd say it's fair. Huh, is that smoke? On the horizon to the north-east i could see a small column of black smoke rising to the sky. Hmmm... Forest fire is unlikely because i'm pretty sure there exists dryads and druids out there to take care of that. This is deep in the forest so it's unlikely for bandits to be camping there and even more so for people passing by. Which means one thing and one thing only... I FOUND THE GOBLINS!
Wasting no time i sprint there at full speed, eager to rip those scumbags heads off and bath in their blood. Ok maybe not the second part because it'll take forever to clean my armor afterwards but you get the idea. Finally next to the area, i hid in the groves and pull a branch down and spot the entrance to the encampment with a couple of goblins guarding it. The green ankle biters are about a meter tall and wore animal hides with flimsy stone spears. There are 2 on the sides of the mouth of the cave, 3 standing around a small bonfire roasting a little morsel, 1 standing on a tree with wooden bow and the last one infront of me facing the rest of the goblins. A malicious ear to ear grin find its way to my mouth and i slowly draw blood reaver.
[3rd POV]
Now we see the inside the deepest part of the cave system where the goblin encampment is located. it's nearly the size of a village with stone walls and wooden fences surrounding the premises. Inside the walls are various goblin huts of all shapes and sizes with the biggest one decorated with gold statues belonging to the chieftain. Goblins both on the wall and inside are lazing about until *SKREE!* they all shook from a scream of their own with sheer horror in it. The guards look around frantically until they see scared shitless goblins running down from the slope leading up in hundreds. What could have caused such mayhem and strike that much terror into their own kin? "I FUCKING HATE GOBLINS REEEEEEEE!" An absolutely furious battle cry rang out from above echoing throughout the encampment. All the goblin guards now understand the true meaning of fear as a figure covered in blood and guts of their kind come crashing down on top of an unfortunate goblin cleaving him in half. That is no human, that is a bloodthirsty monster coming for their souls. The archers fire arrows after arrows but all of it did nothing but bounce off its armor and further enraging it. Seeing the thing coming closer to the walls the guards close the 16 inch thick wooden gate hoping to stop it. "LITTLE PIGGY *SLAM* LITTLE PIGGY *SLAM* LET ME IN! *CRASH*. The gate shatters completely after less than 3 seconds making all goblins present to panic. Goblin after goblin all ended up getting cut down without standing even the slightest of chance. Desperation clear in their minds, they scramble to get the chieftain who is a 'powerful' goblin shaman. The shaman exits his hut and sees the total annihilation of his home and the slaughter of his people and can't help but feel fear welling up inside himself. He channels his strongest spell [Firestorm] that hasn't failed to deal with any humans. Little did he know that his opponent wasn't human at all. The storm hits the rampaging knight directly also catching some goblins burning in it as well. It saddens him for his kin to die by his hands but a sacrifice must be made for the safety of others. Suddenly, the chieftain feels a draft of wind and look up to see his own back. His head was severed from his body before he even notice it! The last thing he saw before everything turning black was the cold red eyes filled with bloodlust of the beast that wiped the encampment completely.
[Yosif POV]
Aaaaahh that was refreshing. I look around again and took in the sight of burning goblins and a massive pile of guts and flesh at the center of it all. My bloodlust got out of control or was it the hatred for goblins from watching Goblin Slayer? Eh, these goblins are unintelligent degenerates that needed to be wiped out anyway, they will never be as good as the ones in 'overlord' or 'that time i got reincarnated as a slime'. I guess my quest is done here, now onto my favorite part...LOOTING!
87 copper, 53 silver, 4 gold, 3 [healing potion] and 1 skill book which is [flames]
[Flame]
rarity: uncommon
description: the basic spell for fire mages. Require next to no skills to learn and has a small mana consumption rate dealing 7 dmg/sec to enemies.
YES! although the spell seems useless for most people, to me that thing is one of the greatest treasures out there. Cooking will be extremely easier with it, now if only i would have like [frost] to go with it and i can basically cook without a kitchen. Welp can't waste anymore time in this mass grave, i got some charity to heheh.
