Chapter 35 - Chapter 2: Moon Trained the Teens

Ceres

Nothing much happened throughout the day aside from cleaning our house and helping Irine to cook for everyone and even talking to my wife about our plans for the pack which no one knows about. Frizabelle wanted to surprise everyone and she wanted to be an alpha first before it happened. But at night, after our dinner with the whole pack, Frizabelle and I went back to our house which made her suddenly pull me into her arms and start kissing me. Just by that kiss, turned me on even more which led to another steamy night for us. But I know there was something bothering her.

"Okay, Belle. Tell me what's bothering you?" I asked my wife while still naked beside her.

"Nothing much. It's just I want to have you all to myself but Dad wasn't helping at all." Frizabelle just shrugged her shoulder while playing with her hands when she answered me.

"Possessive much." I chuckled at her response which I received a playful pinch on my side.

"That's a wolf for you and still sticking with me." She remarked as she chuckled as well but I knew that there was something else.

"That'll do, my queen. But tell me please, what exactly is bothering you?" I seriously asked her which made her sighed.

"Explain to me why you have to deal with the outside transaction and you knew those rogues earlier." She answered that I recalled that she indeed wanted to know that one but what I didn't expect was for her to realize that I knew those rogues. This wife of mine was indeed something else.

"Well first, I agreed with your Dad to do the outside transaction since I'm a vampire and I could tell if those packs were still willing to be allied to ours since the pack was starting to change already. Plus, I could deal with them already if they threatened our pack. Second, those rogues came from the last encounter I had which I never realized that you'll sense it from me." I honestly replied to her which she seriously listened to.

"Does those rogues come from what group or where they just nobody?" Frizabelle asked with her eyes fixed on her hand like she was thinking everything thoroughly.

"They came from Achilles' Blood." I answered as I kept studying her calmness which I am proud of.

"I see. I just hope they won't harm any of our pack." She sighed before leaning her head to my shoulder.

"We can't be certain. I might know them but things might have changed since the last time I crossed with them." I honestly told her since we can't be so sure since those Achilles' Blood wasn't an ordinary group of rogues that every pack knew about.

"Indeed you were right. We better take some precautions for the elderly and the kids, we should double the patrols and double the training. Not all teenagers are capable of dealing with rogues especial if they encounter someone like you have." Frizabelle said which surprised me since I never expected her to think that way immediately.

"Well, there's no one like me but maybe they could have different abilities. But you…" I said but in the last words I began to position myself onto her lap and let myself be comfortable sitting there before cupping her face.

"...you're taking everything in consideration like an Alpha would do and I am very proud of you, my beloved queen Belle." I honestly told her which made her blushed before pulling me closer to her. I can tell she saw Iolana through my eyes since she was always blushing around my old love.

"Well, I am because I have my beautiful mates that I am grateful to be mated and married with." She said before closing the gap between our lips that led into another round of steamy but passionate night.

4:30am

I stood up from our bed while I let my lovely Frizabelle sleep for more. I covered her naked body with our comforter before I got up from the bed and covered myself with my night robe. I went to the window nook and sat there for a while.

'Be ready.'

"I know. Tell me, does it have to do with those rogues?" I asked through my head since it was a private message from someone I knew long ago.

'Something must happen and you know that, Celes.'

"But why do you let them be like this?" I asked since I knew the origin of those rogues.

'It's already done before it could happen.'

"Why did the moon goddess let it happen then?" I changed my question.

'Start of the wheel of change. You know it has to happen. You felt it. You have it in you. So be ready when it comes. Let your mate be ready. Take care.'

"Never change...same old Rupert." I whispered as those last statements came to an end which made me stare at the quarter moon in the night sky.

After that short private mind conversation from an old time friend, I took some breather before I privately linked the Alpha since I have to make sure that it was them before planning anything.

"Father, still awake?" I asked through the private link my father-in-law, Alpha Gregory.

'What is it?'

"I need a favor." I answered while still looking at the night sky.

'Okay, tell me what it is then.'

As mentioned my favor to Gregory, I took the liberty to go to the bathroom to take a nice and refreshing shower before heading to the kitchen downstairs of our house. Even though I was done taking a shower, Frizabelle was still knocked out and she was even snoring.

"Did I tire her that much? Well, she was the wild one and hot mess last night but she was still incredible not just in bed but everything." I whispered to myself before leaving a kiss to her cheeks then headed downstairs to prepare her favorite meal which includes her hot chocolate mint.

When I was all done in our house, I immediately went to the pack house to prepare some healthy breakfast for the pack members. They need lots of energy since it's time for me to join them in their training.

"Ceres." Gregory called me while he was taking his brew coffee and reading some papers - bills to be exact.

"Yes, Father?" I answered as I kept helping Irine, cooking the fried rice that everyone loves.

"Come to my office after your training drills with some of our trainees." Gregory told me while his eyes were still glued on the paper bills on his front.

"I will, Father. But can I know what this is all about?" I asked since I want to know first what we need to discuss since Frizabelle didn't like me being occupied by her father.

"About those rogues you've encountered yesterday. I want the full detail later." Gregory answered before taking another sip from his coffee.

"Sure but I can't promise if Frizabelle suddenly bragged in without knocking." I replied that it was true since Frizabelle intended to do that. Impulse, maybe?

"I just stated everything I need to know before she could." He told me which made Irine chuckle before shaking her head sideways and kept cooking.

"That will do, Father." I chuckled since I've got the feeling that she'll end up doing it later.

After having that conversation again with Gregory, some pack members who were early get their breakfast and even greeted me.

"Ceres, are you going to train with us before lunch?" One of the gamma trainers asked me directly and her name was Rin, the head Gamma trainers.

"Yes but it was only basic since I'm still not sure on how the kids could fight. Plus, I am a vampire - well, technically a fallen rogue." I replied as I put the omelet in one place before putting it down in front of the other gamma.

"Meaning?" Another gamma trainer named Gabriel asked me as he took the omelet that I placed in front of him. He loves my omelet which was why her wife asked me to teach her how to cook it and I did.

"I am not sure if they were ready to fight a rogue or even a fallen rogue since not all rogues are the same. Some of the rogues were ruthless, some were just travelers, some were living like humans, some were just thieves while others just waited for the moon goddess to take their lives away which some turned into fallen rogues." I explained to them some types of rogues that I've encountered before.

"I see, I just hope they won't whine on basic drills." Rin, the first gamma said as she chuckled.

"Oh they will, Gamma Rin and my basic drills might be similar to the wolves but it will be hard to apply those in the face of battle." I told them as I chuckled knowingly.

"Why does it have to be difficult to apply?" the third gamma name Arwen asked after she took a bite from her steamed chicken sausage.

"Well, not all night creatures could clear their minds ro stabled their breathings while doing basic drills over and over again though there were some that could be able to do them. I just hope these kids would." I explained as I put some hope that even just one among them could manage to understand what my basic drills could be.

"Well, we'll see." Rin smirked as she finished her coffee and her breakfast.

As the breakfast continued with laughter when those teens came in to eat their meal before their training would start.

5:45 am

The gammas older headed out as I went back to our house to check on Frizabelle which was not in the bed anymore and she left a sticky note on the counter island.

'Stupid mate, why didn't you wake me up? You're dead meat when I got back home from school. Your beloved wife.'

Even just reading her letter, I can't help but to laugh as I found it cute which made me reply to her note and stick it to the fridge. As I was done, I went to the bedroom to change my clothes into training clothing which were black jogger pants, black sneakers, black sweatshirt since I don't want to wear underneath it aside from my black sports bra.

6:45 am

I headed to the training field where the gammas were already warming the kids up with simple stretching. As I got there, some did not like that I'm joining them but no, I am not joining the train since I'll be the one who'll train them in terms of fighting a vampire or a rogue.

"Listen up, Ceres will be joining us in training you since not all of you could deal with a vampire or a rogue." Rin introduced me as she explained what that I am assigned to them.

"We could." One of them whispered that it didn't slip from any of us.

"You. Come fort." Arwen called the young man and came forward.

As he came forward, all of the sudden Gabriel tackled him in one hand. He just like his pushing down the young man on the grassy ground easily.

"If gamma Gabriel was a wolf rogue, you're already dead." I said which made me look confused at the same time curious to what I just said.

"Not all rogues are good and nice, there were also ruthless thieves who weren't just stealing in one's pack or whoever they came across with. They also intend to kill especially if you're already its prey to devour." I explained one to the rogues that I killed before meeting my old friend.

"In my training, you'll be doing basic drills, running in the field and running in the woods but each turn of running, you have to move faster for two hours and always be on your guard." I stated my first drill which they agreed on.

"If you managed to pass, then we'll move to the next pace which I bet all of you would love. So get up on your feet and run for ten laps in the field then another ten in the woods. Remember, be on your guard." I told them as they stood up from their seats on the grassy ground and stretched a little before dashing off in the field.

"I hope they won't whine later." Arwen said behind me.

"Let's bet after two hours, they will complain." Gabriel said to Arwen which I just shook my head before I felt Rin's hand onto my shoulder.

"Do you think they'll survive?" Rin seriously asked me while both of us watched those kids running like they were having fun.

"Nope but someone will." I said with a knowing tone since I noticed that none of them was taking it seriously apart from one girl.

"I hope they'll learn something since it's for their safety as well." Rin sighed which made me patted her shoulder before I went to where they were running.

I took a deep breath and used my vampire cloak which made everything about me hide away. I even used my speed so I could do some attack as I hoped they would be all guard up. Whoever closer to me, I suddenly pushed them which made them stumble or fall on the butt. They were groaning while the others just laughed but they never realized that if this was a real deal, they were all dead. I shook my head and kept doing it which led some of them to argue that I took the liberty to hit them once again. Like what happened earlier, they stumble, groaning and complaining as for the others just laughing apart from one girl.

"She's different...she observes." I thought to myself while watching her then the others. She just kept doing what I told them without caring what others were doing.

After 20 laps each drill, they started to slow down, losing their breaths and complaining but nothing stopped me from attacking them. They were getting pissed but when I attacked the girl she surprised me as well the gammas that have been watching the entire time when she dodged me. She's good which made me do the same to the others but again, they failed and kept on complaining.

"Go ahead and keep complaining. You're already dead and only one of you survived." I suddenly announced which surprised them but at the same time confused.

"Of course you wouldn't realize what had already been happening when Ceres joined you." Gabriel said which made them look more confused.

"Can anyone tell me, how many times did you fall and stumble on your run?" Arwen asked them which made them look at each other.

"Now you're looking at each other which only means that you didn't realize that Ceres was already attacking like what sinister vampire rogues would do." Rin announced which made them look helpless but some of them were pissed off.

"If you're confident in how strong you are which I know some of you want to kick someone, well be my guess. Let's try your own combat skills against my training. So any volunteers?" I firmly told them that made them hesitate whether to try it on me or not.

Then the same girl that dodged me stood up come to me. I can sense that nobody gets along with her but I still nodded while smiling then I looked to the others and called one from them.

"He'll be your sparring partner." I picked the guy who I knew that was also complaining about my training method.

"And for you young lady, show them what my training meant." I calmly told the girl who volunteered and was standing next to me.

As the girl stood up next to me while the guy stood in front of her which made the others laughed and even cheered for the guy. I just sighed before smiling at both of them.

"Here's the rule, just make your opponent surrender. It's either stun, knocked out, locked into its place. Just make them yield." I told both of them which they both agreed on.

As they both went to their position, the guy was too confident while the girl looked frightened but when she looked at me, I just gave an encouraging smile to assure her that she could do it. She doesn't like the idea but she just sighed in defeat. She also knew that she wasn't much of a fighter like the others but I know she can definitely do it much better than any of them.

"Begin!" I signaled them as ready themselves but on the first attack the guy took the first hit on the girl that made her fall down. She's fragile but behind her eyes it was something else. She's a silent fighter.

"Again." I told them to fight again as I watched them carefully this time.

The girl kept on dodging so smoothly when she sprinted like she was a wind that made the guy's attempts keep on failing. I nodded on how calm she was even if she was facing a well-trained wolf.

"Watch your opponent and every movement he makes then start to feel everything around you. Find the difference." I said while they were kept fighting and the girl this time was indeed following my instructions.

She dodged as she studied her opponent and took the opportunity to counter the guy's attack with my training moves.

"Good. Analyze his moves. Thinking carefully but surely; you can be aggressive like he is but think. On every move you're going to make, make sure everything counts. Make sure your hit will bring your opponent knocked out or stunned." I taught her that she got her groove with my guidance and she was doing great over it.

The guy couldn't hit her so hard since her movement was so fast to catch up with instead out of his frustrations, he was getting less and less power. He was using too much of his energy on every attack he was doing but it still didn't make her down.

"Knocked him down." I told her and with one snake moved, she brought the guy pinned down with her grappling arm locked.

They guy tried to get away from the tight grip of the body locked of the girl which was getting tighter since he was turning red to purple.

"Yield, if I were you." I said that made the guy tap the girl's arms around him then she let go.

He began to cough and just lay down on the grass catching his breath which made me go to him and just pinched his shoulder. His breathing finally came back to normal before I patted his back.

As I turned to everyone, they were so shocked, even the girl who won the sparring can't believe what result she has done. When the sparring partners went back to the others, I looked at them with my knowing smile.

"See. Basic may be simple but it could help you throughout the day. To do that, make sure to use your knowledge on combat from your preview trainers and merge it with my training method since not all wolves knew how to deal with cunning vampires. And one of the reasons why I want you to run endlessly was just to build stamina, quick movements and to free your mind so you can think on how to counter every cunning stance of your opponents. Also to be always on your guard since no one can tell when they were going to attack. Plus, I simply want you to make your moves count like it will be the last fight you ever be and the challenge for that was not to use your full energy. Look what happened, too much energy on wasted attack will drain you much; result, you were dead on the outside field." I honestly told them to make them realize that this training must take seriously because it was for the packs safety – their safety.

"This is only training and you can make tons of mistakes here but out there, never. You'll never get a chance to do that unless you are good at hiding and escaping routes. Are you like that?" I continued that made them shook their heads as their answer for no.

"Good. Then learn everything you need to learn because sooner or later you'll get the result of everything." I continued preaching them what I felt was right for them since most of them were teenagers.

"To tell you this, It is good to have a pack like this. They gave time to teach you how to bite back when it was needed, not in my case. Everything I just taught you was based on my experience without any help from my kind. So, if I were you nourished what you've learned and kept polishing were you good at. It will excel you in time." I told them the reason why I must teach them on how to make everything count, especially when it's about a fight for life since I'm so damn good on surviving.

"Dismiss." I continued then I left since I felt that I've been watched by some elders from this pack and that includes Irine, the Luna and Gregory, the Alpha.

I released a big sigh then stretched my whole body from being stiff at the training. Then I ran back to our lovely nest since I could smell my foul scent from sweat. So, I took my time to clean up and to shower even let myself be soaked in the tub with such cold water and let my nerves relax until I was summoned by Father, I mean Gregory, the Alpha through the pack link. After receiving the link, I let myself out from the tub and changed up before meeting Frizabelle's father.
