As I followed my lovely wife through the back door of the kitchen, I saw some mothers of the pack were preparing dinner.
"Let me help you there." I told them that they all agreed since they like my cooking skills.
When I took the apron and put it around my waist, I began to prepare every ingredient that I think I might be needing on making a rosemary steak with mash potato and side kani salad. The mothers that I am helping were amazed on how I quickly prepare all of it and even start to cook since I'm not using my vampire speed.
'Loves, did you make me my favorite juice?'
"It's on our fridge." I replied to Frizabelle through our mated link while I kept moving around the kitchen. Well, I love to cook for them.
"Come down to the pack's dining." I continued telling Frizabelle as I began to prepare the plates as well.

We're finally done making dinner and immediately served it to the whole pack who were in the dining area since everyone was present. They were having fun talking since the kids started it off which led the dinner into such fun get together. But as it came to an end, everyone went back to their post outside as for the others headed to their rooms to rest which left Frizabelle and I cleaned up.
I'm the one who was wiping the table while Frizabelle was the one who was doing the dishes and she's no fan of cleaning duty. When I took a peek on my lovely mate, I can see that she was getting bored there and it was lovely which exactly made her sing a song entitled The Kiss by Karmina

I kept listening while I was wiping the table and arranging the chairs and it was making me smile because it does. She doesn't care anymore. She always wanted me 24/7 if she could but work, life and the pack has to be taken care of which both of us have to understand. There's not always us since we're not alone.

Well, I always noticed that her heart was always throbbing whenever I kissed her, touched her or even just looked at her. My lovely wife's heart beats only for me. I can feel that she was complete though she's getting more violent every day or night. Well, that's how she shows her affection whenever she misses me. I just hope it won't be her daily basis whenever she sees me.

Oh well, just hearing her sing while doing the dishes and losing her mind since she was dancing as if she was the one who owns the song but nope. She was just feeling the message of it and to me, I want to give her a kiss that she won't care anymore like the song that she was singing. Meaning, I went closer to her without being noticed since I'm already done cleaning. So, I sneaked at her back and let my arms snaked around her waist which made her jump a little but let out a playful giggle.
"You almost scared me." Frizabelle whined while smiling at me before turning to face me.
"Well, almost is also a point for me." I teased as I kept my arm wrapped around her waist.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes but the smile never left her lips.
"But my lovely queen, Belle, I have to get my kiss." I said lovingly to her which made her blushed as she kept staring at me.
"Oh, sure you do." She chuckled as she put her arms around my neck while still the smile never left hers.
"The song. Your voice made me feel and wanted to kiss you." I whispered as I leaned closer to her ears and gave it a kiss down to her jawline.
"Just want?" She sounded upset but a tease to be exact which made me look at her once again. Oh, goddess, I really love my wife.
"Oh, my queen...I love having them against mine. So, please kindly let me do the honor of getting that kiss from my lovely wife." I said as I kept leaning closer to her and her both hands began to cup my face before pulling it much closer to hers.
"Of course, Ion and Ceres. You can kiss your wife's lips now." Frizabelle whispered which made my heart throbbed like hers since it was ringing in between us. I bet Iolana was totally feeling the same with me which I'm so grateful of.
As I kissed Frizabelle in front of the dishwasher, it was really lovely and so sensual but there it goes again. I have to deal with this familiar gaze that was coming within the woods and it was calling me.
"As much I still want to kiss you here in the kitchen, I'm gonna make some last run around the woods and I'll be seeing you tonight in our bed. Hopefully, naked." I said as I kissed my wife's lips over and over again but she just playfully slapped my shoulder.
"Pervert. No can do, my love. I have homework plus I have checked our plan before making some blueprints for the construction." Frizabelle told me which reminded me about the daycare that we planned on building since the kids kept making the house pack the playground.
"Alright. Some other time. Love you." I told her as I began to release her from the hug but she pulled me once again and kissed my lips hungrily. Oh dammit, if we don't stop we might end up doing it here.
"My Belle, do you want to make love in the kitchen when everyone walks on us and gives them a live show?" I teased in between our heated kisses which made her groan but she let go.

"Thought so. I have to go." I said before kissing her forehead since she was giving a glare.

"I will." I responded through our mated link since I already dashed off into the woods.
As I kept running some patroller noticed me which I just waved at them and we both went back to our runs. When they were out of sight, I cloaked my scent before blended within the shadows of the night since I had to meet someone at the border that was near to the school perimeter.
"Rupert." I said as I let myself be visible to him.
He never changed, not because of his Casanova looks but his clothing. He still wore ancient clothes from Dracula times. Goth too much.
"Seems like you've got my message." A Raspy cold voice from an old geezer like him said to me.
"Not much but why this pack?" I asked directly which made his smile disappear like something serious will happen.
"Be ready. Achilles Blood has been divided since almost half of the pack can't be still with other rogues." Rupert seriously said to me.
"But you're their leader…unless you've been…" I said while studying him carefully.
"They exiled me. Only 5 came with me and the rest were not going to be in harmony to anyone." He honestly told me but I knew there was something else.
"I'm warning you. You know how dangerous the rogues from my pack – our pack. They won't listen until they get what they want." He continued and about the leave but I didn't let him just yet.
"You're forgetting something, Rupert." I told him that made him halt, then smiled at me like he could see through me but no.
"Be together as one, no one can defy what true love can do. The blessing will be yours just take your time doing what you think was right since there's no right or wrong when 'Her' is at your center." He finally said what he really came for then vanished from the thin air.
"Oh shaman." I whispered to him what he just did but the smirking never left my lips.
I turned my heel before walking along within the shadow of the perimeter of the pack while my smile was still visible onto my lips. Getting further from the border, I immediately privately linked Gregory since it was a real report coming from the exiled alpha of the Achilles' Blood.
"Father, prepare everything we need. Achilles Blood has been divided since almost half of the pack can't be still with other members of it. Rupert and the other five came with him." I reported to him through our private link.
'Did he met you out the border?'
"Yes." I just answered as I started jogging and letting myself uncloak from the shadows of the woods.
'Did he just report this to you? For what reason does he have this time?'
"Father, he might be a rogue but he was still blessed by the goddess to keep the power clairvoyance. What his reason for visiting the pack was because I'm already married to my mate. It will have something to do about us." I explained to him which I could tell that he was thinking about it carefully.
'A change.'
"Yes, Father. That could be it." I agreed to the guess of Gregory.
'Then, perfect timing. Come to my office immediately. I received a request.'
"On my way." I responded that I've got the feeling it will be something about the Achilles Blood's movement.
I immediately run back to the pack house with my vampire adrenaline since I have to deal with the Achilles Blood if they reach this pack. As I got back in the pack house, I immediately went to the office without changing or refreshing myself since it was an urgent call from the Alpha itself.
"Father." I said after I knocked the door and entered the office. He was totally serious on the paper he was reading and I can tell it was the request that he will be talking to me now.
"Good you're here. I received some reports that a particular rogue was suddenly entering their border. Some said they were just passing and didn't interfere with their pack's perimeter but others, really concerning." Gregory said as he released a heavy sigh before almost throwing those papers on the table.
"What do you mean, Father?" I asked in my curious voice as I took the liberty to prepare ourselves with a cup of coffee.
"They were killing innocent children and elders who were already old for a war. They were seeking blood and not a sanctuary." He answered as I gave him his cup of coffee which he was glad to take a sip from it.
"Oh Father, they won't do something like that unless provoked or their new leader told them so." I chuckled as I took a seat at the couch in front of his desk.
"So you're saying that they were being forced?" He asked me out of curiosity.
"Yes and no. Yes, because they were just following their new leader and no because I felt that they were just lost or their desire for sanctuary was being twisted." I answered before taking a sip from my own coffee.
"Twisted...can a rogue even do something like that? Manipulate?" he asked since he never heard something like that before which was totally very rare for any rogue to possessed something like that.
"No but if they know how to use words to lure the desires from the other, then maybe it could happen." I explained.
"If that's so, I better prepare the pack for it and my daughter needs to be the alpha as soon as possible." He said as he groaned thinking of his daughter's capacity to deal with the pack while she was still studying.
"Then make her. Let her deal with some problems of the pack whether handling transactions to the other packs or the growth of the pack." I told him what I am thinking about my wife since I believe that she was almost getting there to be an alpha.
"You trust her." He grinned proudly.
"I have to and I always will. It's not because she's my wife or mate but because of who she is and what she can do. I love her, Father." I honestly told him which he nodded in agreement.
"I know that's why she has to meet you halfway. You already know how to take care of a pack and speaking of, I want you to go to the Arc Howl." He said as he gave me the last letter that he was reading when I entered the office.
"They're the one that has the weakest defense from the rogues but I heard that they do have feisty Luna." I said after I read the letter which made me think that it was the beta who wrote it.
"That's why I want you to handle it plus, they were also receiving threats from the Achilles Blood if they do give some food to them." He said with such confidence what I can do but at the same time he was worried over that pack.
I was a bit curious why they needed food if the Achilles Blood was already a pack of rogues - meaning, they already have roots unless they wasted the food or maybe the leader did. Oh well, I have to set that aside for the meanwhile since I'm still not sure if that leader was the real reason why the Achilles Blood went to its downfall.
"I see, Father. Can you tell me honestly why we should aid them this time even if they already have their feisty alpha?" I asked curiously since the pack that he wanted to help was the one who didn't like me as a pack member or let's just say the Luna there wasn't much Luna at all – worst case, the Alpha there has no balls in front of his Luna.
"Honestly, I don't care if they fall but I still have faith in their alpha plus they have innocent children there and I don't want them to be in any harm which includes the elders as well." He coldly replied to me and I can tell from his tone that he doesn't care much since those choices will fall onto their parents hands.
"That's a fair reason but since I'm the one you're sending, it will be up to me to deal with their demands." I nodded knowingly since I can tell that even though he doesn't show any affection it doesn't mean that he didn't care at all. What an Alpha he was.
"Be sure to not overpower them." He confidently said that I would do good on this kind of bargain.
"I'm on it." I slyly smiled like I'm planning something worse that made him shake his head then went back on reading his work loads.
"Ask your daughter to help you with workloads? It will be just her training toward becoming an Alpha." I suggested which made him smile before nodding.
As I finished my coffee, I already left the office and went to the backyard porch where you can see the bridge toward our tree house home. I sat there to think of something for the task that Gregory has given me until I smelled my lovely mate scent behind me. Oh gosh, I missed her already or maybe I'm thinking too much since I have to be ready and deal with the Achilles Blood soon.
