Wednesday – Night
I really don't get Ceres, why she has to bring that vampire guy in the pack's territory after Avery. She doesn't see that some of the pack members were still not happy having a vampire in the territory. But they were tolerating it since its Alpha's order but I knew since the way they looked at Ceres and Avery. Well, most of the pack members were warming up around Ceres and Avery because they knew how to cook and it's also because Ceres was my mate. But I wonder if my father would let this guy stay here without dying.
6 pm
Me and my gang arrive at the pack house which I supposed to be with Ceres since she promised me earlier this morning but she's not. She stayed with that Vincent guy. Just saying his name made me really err! I want to puke or something. He was an eyesore to my eyes. I groaned as I entered the house which was not surprising seeing my Dad, the Alpha and the Luna, my Mom cuddling at the couch at the living room. I don't like what's gotten into me but I am pissed.
"Get a room!" I was pissed off when I said that.
My gang chuckled but Dad glared at me while Mom, well Mom always studied my mood since Ceres came in our life; my life actually. As I felt mom's eyes fixed on me, I shivered then groaned that made me stamped my foot as I walked upstairs to my room.
"What's wrong with that kid?" I heard Dad asked my gang about my attitude.
"It's because of me." Ceres suddenly spoke before my gang could.
"Why is that?" Dad asked her directly.
"I bring a vampire here." Ceres honestly told my Dad and I can feel the tension was building within the house apart from my Mom who I can tell was smiling.
"Who was it?" Mom asked Ceres excitedly which I found myself groaning from hearing that behind the door inside my room.
"Luna, he's the guy you saw from my mind that night you saved me." Ceres honestly calm when she said that.
"Oh my. So, you're that kid who always cries on Ceres every time they tortured you." Mom warmly said to that Vincent guy which I think already entered the house.
I just hear them talking downstairs in the living room due to the wolf hearing and it's really pissing me off.
"How did you know?" he asked with his alluring vampire voice like Ceres but my mate was more alluring than him.
'Of course it is, my queen.'
"Shut it! Don't brag like that. I'm still pissed off." I might be pissed but the blushes that crept out on my cheeks from hearing her through our link was so visible.
That was an embarrassing one but our link suddenly stopped when I heard her talking voice once again downstairs.
"I told Luna; ahmm…I turned him before going here, so he'll be my responsibility. If he does anything to this pack kindly inform me so I can give him my deadly vampire punishment." Ceres answered that vampire guy named Vincent before she explained to my father.
I already can tell that she's talking to my Dad when her tone shifted into such seriousness with full conviction that my Dad liked about her.
"Very well then, but Ceres I can't guarantee his safety within this pack and like Avery, he must show how worthy of him to stay here." Dad frankly said to Ceres since it was true that even though he's the Alpha, he was not in control when he was not looking around the pack.
"Of course. I told him that already apart from the trials." Ceres said with little chuckles under her breath.
"Trials? Mate, explain this to me." He was indeed surprised by what Ceres was talking about but more importantly, I am the one who was most surprised hearing those words that supposed only my lips would speak.
No one can call Ceres, mate aside from me. SHE'S BELONGS TO ME AND MINE ALONE! As those heat of madness radiated around me, I rushed downstairs, to which exactly my mother said something to him.
"You shouldn't say the 'mate' word." Mom chuckled as I suddenly grabbed his neck and threw him outside the house.
I knew he was shocked and even confused why I would do that to him but I was beyond pissed by what she called my Ceres. Everyone in the pack heard that sudden burst of the main door of the pack house and they were excited to what I am going to do to the vampire guy in front of me. Then the trial begins with me
"Ceres!" Vincent shouted at Ceres but she just shook her head with a sly smile on her face.
"She won't be helping you because you triggered the trials now!" I roared at him then I immediately attacked him with my fits landed on his stomach which he thought would landed onto his face.
But as for the second attack, he managed to dodged it this time. As expected for a vampire to be quicker than wolves but I'm not no ordinary wolf. I was quick as well and moved swiftly like a vampire too because there were times Ceres would spar with me each time we ran around the woods. At every dodged he made, I attacked with collected thoughts since I didn't want to be reckless. I take my time attacking but never get frustrated or even let myself get exhausted over the attacks that weren't reaching him. Instead, I put him to the edge of frustration since he also couldn't hit me from my dodges or my quick movements and when I found a way to hit him, I put power on one simple but big hit on his stomach again. I didn't transform into my wolf form since it's not necessary to do that and that's what Ceres taught me. Only transformed when needed that's why I've been training my physical strength and quick movement for that. Seriously, it was effective.
He might have stumbled while holding his stomach which made him look worried at me but then he turned to call for help which was Ceres.
"MATE!" He shouted which made me really snapped and this time it wasn't for the trials but my anger.
The only thing that was flashing inside my head was to snap his head and never bother Ceres' life with me. In short, killing him was all that mattered to me by now. I must kill him which made exactly my claws show up and my angry face began to be distorted into half form of wolf like in the tv series Teen Wolf. But I can feel my bones cracking inside of me bit by bit like I was transforming at a very slow pace. I can see that he was shocked by that form but my claws didn't reach him since Ceres pulled his collar and threw him to the side. He was a weakling vampire and definitely not like Avery when she fought me weeks before.
"My queen, please, calm down. He wasn't worth your beautiful claws." Ceres said with such a sweet and calming voice that I really needed to hear for my anger to sustain.
Just hearing her voice, I was calmed and nuzzled my face to hers. She patted my half formed wolf head and walked back inside with Vincent being dragged by her. Everyone within the pack was in their murmuring state until Luna smirked and said something to the pack link that I didn't catch.
I just ignored them and went Inside as well since I had to shift back to my human form. As I did that, I immediately went to Ceres and she covered me with her cloak before pulling me into her arms. I sat on her lap while we're on the couch as my parents and the gang took their respective seats which made it look like we're surrounding Vincent who was sitting on the floor.
"Okay…I'm jealous." Vincent frankly said as he saw how I cuddled with Ceres.
I growled like a possessive mate I could be that made him whimpered in defeat while the others chuckled over it. But it was cut off when Dad clapped his hands. We're all in quiet time.
"State your name, young man." My Dad said with his Alpha voice.
"Vincent Rion Fedrickson. Turned by Acentric clan and lifted by Langford." He said with honour in his voice that my father nodded as my mother read him carefully. But as usual, Mom was unnoticed whenever she's doing that.
"Langford?" Dad asked with such confusion in his face.
"Yes. Langford was now my master." He honestly said which made him stand up from his seat and glared at him like he was about to kill him.
"Halt, Alpha." Ceres interrupted Dad from coming closer to Vincent that made me confused. It seems like only Ceres, Mom and Dad knew what's going on here.
"For all the info you should know about me, I'm Ceres Langford – oh! Wait! That came out bad." Ceres said, trying to cool the atmosphere around us.
Ceres let go of me before she stood up and faced my Dad and my Mom in her proper gesture like a lady-like or with etiquette of a royalty.
"I think Luna knew about this from seeing my soul, so I'm going to clarify things to you Alpha and to my mate." Ceres said she wanted us to be prepared for what she's going to confess this very night.
"What you've heard from Vincent or Avery was right. They were both lifted by Langford and that was me." Ceres started which made Dad look confused.
"How could that be if you're a vampire not a wolf." Dad said with a confused tone.
"Indeed, but that's why I must clear my name but some part of it will be shared some day." Ceres calmly stated to my Dad.
She really was getting on my nerves. I want to hear it now! Ceres glanced at me which I can tell that she heard my thoughts again.
"If you're asking how, I'm just going to say this was my family was a complicated one. One hunter girl from a very known clan, turned out to be a mate of an Alpha rouge of the very dangerous rouge of all kind and also she's the soul mate of the prince of Aspire clan who happened to hate abomination. But mate or soulmate can't be stopped just like that." Ceres tried to explain to my Dad.
"And you're still a vampire?" Dad was indeed confused about Ceres' identity.
"I was bitten –" Ceres was about to answer to make things clear when she suddenly stopped like she sensed somebody around the perimeter of the pack.
"I'll tell you some other time but since the connection of Vincent's maker and his was cut off, they were here already. Vincent, ready to slaughter them with your hands?" Ceres told Dad before she asked Vincent with her devilish grin that I don't want to ask anymore.
"Heh, of course Master." Vincent chuckled.
"Then be the bloodbath they've been asking." Ceres smirked even more.
"My pleasure." Vincent smirked as his eyes turned into something dark like Ceres' eyes.
"Alpha, kindly tell everyone not to interrupt. It's cleaning time for Vincent." Ceres warmly smiled at my father that he did immediately.
As Vincent went out to face his maker, we all went upstairs and watched from the balcony but a wolf like us was really on guard since vampires were stepping in our land.
Ceres
Seriously, I didn't intend to let them know where or who I am but since Vincent happened, I must clear things up yet not all the things about me. I must keep it that way for their own safety.
Yet, I guessed that safety I'm longing for them wasn't going to happen for now. Those obsessive vampire rogues were already here at the perimeter with some bunch of fallen rogues that I need to explain to my mate but for now, blood must be served on their open field of the pack's territory.
I'm sorry for that.
