"HaHaHa. I don't think that dumb will marry your daughter. He doesn't a slight interest in girls! That's actually a good thing since I don't want a healthy adult gazing lustily at my adorable Abby."
Abby is Ernie's six-year-old granddaughter. She's his only family after the epidemic strike.
"I don't think so. He's just playing hard to get. Nobody can control that fool but my lovely daughter Raquel."
Roro might be drunk but he can't help but remember his drinking pals' jokes about Nabi and his daughter Raquel. Now, he's pissed. He wants the two to get married as soon as possible
Speaking of marriage, does Nabi already have a decent dress to wear?
"I- I don't want him to look pitiful swanding nyext to my daughter." The chief blurted out loud. Unfortunately, no one can hear him. He's alone at Nabi's house. Everyone has left except him.
"I should look for some nice clothes for their wedding."
Although he's a little bit clumsy, he managed to open some wooden closets from here and there. Unable to find an article of decent clothing up to his standard, he decided to try harder. He looked under the bed, and there, he found a familiar box. Of course, it's familiar to him. He made it himself before giving it to Nabi.
"Maybe I'll find something here."
He took out one piece of folded clothing after another from the box. On the bottom, he found an unexpected yet very familiar thing. Unlike the box, it gives him a very unpleasant feeling. He's now sober. The smile of his face is now gone. It was replaced with anxiety and anger as he looks at the book written by a well-known history writer, Zilla Mana.
"How did he get this book?"
The book is way bigger and thicker than the one they're keeping. The chief could only think of one thing. Someone had finally found this island.
With a speed as fast as a wild animal, he looks for Nabi on the small island. He used every piece of knowledge he learned from hunting prey. He watched the marks of footprints left on the muddy soil. He looked at the bend plants on a supposedly unexplored area. Every subtle clue means a lot to him, and this is how he arrive on the Thorny Forest.
