"Oliver, I know that this is not a small thing but you need to take it slow. You can't rush into the matter," Sophia said following her husband
"There is nothing to take this slow Soph. You have no idea what took place yesterday. Henry Broad got the information that a new threat just popped in our life, I ordered him to increase security and that is one of the reasons why Louisa is here," Oliver said punching the elevator button
"Did she have any idea about the threat?" Sophia questioned
"I tried to not give her any hint about this to her but our daughter is too smart. I think she would have guessed something by now," Oliver said walking out of the elevator when he reached the destined floor
"Did Ms. Miller wake up?" Oliver questioned the people present on Louisa's floor.
"No Sir, she didn't wake up yet," the middle-aged woman answered to Oliver
"What about Flora? She slept here in Louisa's room right?" Oliver questioned
"Flora Mam woke up half an hour back and exited the floor ordering us to not wake up Louisa unless we get any orders from any of you," she replied looking down
Oliver nodded at that and she took her leave bowing down to the Millers
"Where are you heading to?" Sophia questioned stopping her husband who was about to walk towards Louisa's room
"To Lou's room. We need to know transpired yesterday," Oliver replied
"Yes, we need to know that but you can't wait a bit until she wakes up and gets freshen up?" Sophia questioned him
"No we can't and normally she wakes up at this time and attends the martial arts training. So it wouldn't be a big deal to her to wake up," Oliver said to his wife
"If you are so determined about that go ahead," Sophia said pointing her hand towards Louisa's bedroom door
"You stay here because.." Sophia stopped Oliver while he was speaking showing her hand as an indication
"I don't want to ruin my morning mood by putting up a brawl with your darling daughter. She hates to see him and I don't want to ruin her happiness by appearing in front of her, so you deal with that," Sophia said nonchalantly
Oliver didn't say anything back to that because he knows how these both behave when they come across each other
"Sophia, inform my trainer that I won't be able to make up to the workout session today," Oliver said opening Louisa's doorknob
"You just need a reason to skip your daily workout," Sophia stated
"I am working out diligently Sophia, you can't accuse me of skipping a workout," Oliver replied to her
"I totally know how diligently you are working out and I just want to look at your daughter's reaction when she gets to see your regular attendance," Sophia said chuckling
"Are you blackmailing me dear wifey?" Oliver questioned with a hint of seriousness
"No dear hubby; I am just stating the facts," Sophia said shrugging
"Very Funny;" Oliver said opening Louisa's bedroom door
"I will be waiting for you at the breakfast table," Sophia said to him
"No, don't wait for me. I don't know how long this is going to take. You just complete your work and do the things according to your schedule. If you are stepping out of the house make sure you take extra security assigned for you by Henry without further questions and for God sake don't forget taking your medication," Oliver warned her
"Okay Mr. Oliver Miller; your wife will follow your orders," Sophia replied laughing and strolled away from the place
Oliver entered the room and breathed a sigh of relief
"Thank God she doesn't remember anything which took place yesterday. I need to know who is trying to make her spill out things and I should assign someone to make her take the medication on time or else we can never predict what she will be doing. Even if one thing comes out of her mouth before anyone other than me, everything we have been built for years will just shatter into pieces and I can't let that happen. I won't let the same mistake to repeat again and I will make sure to erase the threat which wants to shackle the Miller household," Oliver thought determined
He closed the door and walked towards the bed where Louisa is still sleeping clutching her toy Penguin. He stared at his daughter for a few seconds and moved towards the balcony. He opened the balcony door and the fresh air from their garden hit him. He ordered 'Lexi' the Artificial Intelligence bot, which runs the commands over the house to pull up the blinders and open the windows
Following his orders, the bot did its work and the Sun rays entered the room. Oliver walked back towards Louisa's bed and surprised to see no moment in Louisa even after the cool air and the sun rays hit her
He pushed back the curls lying on her forehead and patted her cheeks
"Lou Baby; it's time. You need to wake up," Oliver Miller said patting her cheeks. Louisa turned to the other side and pulled the duvet onto her face
Oliver smiled at his daughter's reaction and climbed onto the bed. "Louisa, it's 7:10 in the morning and you should wake up now," Oliver said pulling of the duvet from her face
"Let me sleep for few more minutes JD," Louisa yelled
"Lou Baby, you are not in that wrecked apartment but at your mansion. You are with your dad. Wake up fast," Oliver said tickling Louisa's arm
Louisa shot her eyes open and glanced at her surroundings. She sat on the bed and stared at her dad
"Easy baby' easy. Remember you are here all by yourself yesterday because you don't want to disappoint your dad," Oliver said in order to make Louisa recollect yesterday's events
"Yeah, I got that. It's been years I have been here so I kind of forgot that," Louisa said smiling a little
"Good morning my precious flower," Oliver kissed on her forehead
"Good morning to you too Dad," Louisa said hugging him from one side
"Where is Aunt Flora?" Louisa questioned her dad
"Unlike you, she is not lazy so she woke up on time and now she is attending to her duties," Oliver replied
"I am not lazy Dad," Louisa whined
"I am seeing that," Oliver said laughing
Louisa pouted at his father and he pulled her chin saying, "Go and get freshen up. We need to discuss something," Oliver said getting down from the bed
"Did something happen?" Louisa questioned immediately
"Nothing happened Baby; it's just dad and daughter talk. You go and get freshen up," Oliver said pulling her down from the bed
Louisa looked at her dad confused yet walked into the bathroom.
Oliver looked at his mobile and the previous day's message flashed in his mind. "No, I should never let those messages come true. I will never let anyone's shadow near this house premises and I will try every way to protect my people," Oliver said gritting his teeth
Louisa looked at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Unlike the previous day, her face is looking a little bright but her eyes are still the same devoid of happiness.
"What does Dad want to discuss with me so urgently? Is that related to yesterday's events? Rudy and the doctor's said that I saw illusions but I didn't see any of them after returning home. So what I experienced was an illusion or a reality?" Louisa questioned her reflection in the mirror.
