Chapter 41 - The Guessing Game

"Oliver, I was at the venue yesterday and my eyes were on Louisa all the time and I never saw Louisa this close to Asher. Esma Blair came to me to inform me that Louisa was saved by Asher and when I ran to see Louisa's condition all I saw was Rudy standing with Louisa. As Esma Blair doesn't have any healthy relationship with Louisa I thought that she would have lied to me," Sophia told her husband

As soon as Sophia said that Louisa started running from the garden. Oliver and Sophia kept shouting Louisa's name in order to stop her but Louisa kept running towards her room

"Where were the clothes which I wore yesterday?" Louisa questioned the staff who works in the clothes department

"We have put that for washing Young Madam," one person from the staff replied

"What about the belt? What have you done to the belt?" Louisa questioned all tensed

"We have washed that with hands and kept to drying," she answered Louisa

"What how can you do that?" Louisa cried

"Mam, we didn't receive any orders from anyone so we have done the things we normally do," she answered looking down

"Well, sorry for shouting at you people. But please bring the belt urgently to me"

"Yes Mam; in a minute," the girl said taking Louisa's leave

"How can I be this fool? How can I forget about the chip embedded in the belt? It has all the information about Blair's worst deeds. It's my weapon how could I let that go?" Louisa thought banging her head

"Young Madam, here's your belt," the staff person forwarded the wet belt to Louisa

Louisa immediately clicked on the buttons and saw the chip missing. Her forehead creased looking at the empty space.

Oliver and Sophia reached Louisa's floor in the meantime.

"Louisa, what happened? Why did you rush like that and why are you holding the wet belt?" Oliver questioned his daughter who is looking lost sitting on the edge of the couch

"Dad, it's Esma Blair for sure. The new threat which is pouncing on us was none but the Blair's," Louisa declared

"How can you be so sure about that Louisa?" Oliver questioned her

"Dad, after the award distribution when I went in the search of Elena I caught Damian Blair, the husband of vicious Esma Blair fooling around with a Blonde without the care of the world. I have recorded his deeds in our newly designed chip. I have that chip embedded in my belt. He knows that I won't leave them without avenging so he would have planned this. You all know how much hatred Esma Blair has for me," Louisa explained

"Why should you try enraging the Blairs when you clearly know that they hate you and will go to any extent to make your life hell? Why can't you just ignore Damian Blair and his deeds just like we all do? Why did you even try to cross paths with them?" Sophia yelled

"Mrs. Miller it would be better if you control your tongue," Louisa yelled back at her mother

"It's not the time for you two to pick a fight. We have a serious issue here and it would be good if you both stick on to that keeping your stupidity at bay," Oliver shouted at the mother and daughter duo who just needs a thing to pick a fight

Both didn't utter a word after hearing Oliver's shriek.

"So you think that can be Blairs who has done this?" Sophia questioned her daughter

Louisa nodded without saying anything

"No Louisa, I don't think it would be Blairs," Oliver replied

"Why do you think so Dad?"

"Louisa, the Blairs are a gone game now. They are running their organization based on the rotten formulas and they are far away in that race. They are surviving due to the legacy the Blairs own and they have removed half of their security staff from their jobs as they don't have amount to maintain all that and with the resources they have it will be impossible to even spy on us and you are worrying that they would be the threat which is not even workable," Oliver replied

"You can't brush it off just like that Dad, as you said it is true that they are into losses now and what if they want me as a bait to increase their bank balance? You know they marvel in playing this kind of games and half of their legacy is filled these kinds of doings and I am so sure this can be their new one," Louisa replied

"I could have accepted to your words if I wouldn't have assigned members to track the Blair's every moment. They have not even tried of knowing any information about you after the strong warning they have received in the past," Oliver replied

"So if the Blair's have not done anything against us then who needs to steal the chip from me?" Louisa questioned

"We have not received any threat calls regarding the chip right?" Oliver questioned back

"No one will be to crack the code open except someone from our team. It was designed by me," Louisa replied

"So the chip is safe until the time someone from your personal team helps the one who has the chip. So we should take care that no one from your team calls it quits and I will make sure we have an eye on them. You don't worry about that chip," Oliver said patting Louisa's arm

"Dad, see the pattern. First I was trapped and I happened to meet him which is an illusion according to you and truth according to me; then I was kidnapped taken to a place where I was surrounded with dreadfulness and when I opened my eyes I was at a hospital where everyone was more interested to know about my past than the problem I was in and I was happy after coming here forgetting everything due to the love showered by Aunt Flora and now my mobile and the chip is also missing. Don't you think everything is planned by one?" Louisa said after connecting all the dots

"Yes that can be true," Sophia answered

"Well if that is true it would be easy for us to crack as the threat will be from only one side. We should take small steps to crack it," Oliver replied

The three were engrossed in serious discussion and someone's voice stopped them

"Sir, there is an emergency at the head office, I just got the information," Tim the trustworthy of Millers said standing there in his business suit

His presence in the Miller household before the office hours conveyed them the underlying message that there is something more serious than the words he said
