"Good God, am I looking at my daughter who hates wearing normal office attire like every human being in this universe?" Oliver taunted as soon as he saw his daughter walking towards him
Louisa stared at her father after hearing his words
"Lou, did something happen? Why are your eyes so red? Why is your makeup smudged?" Oliver questioned when Louisa lift her face up
"Life is getting smashed Dad and you are worried about my smudged makeup?" Louisa questioned standing still
"Baby, what happened? Why are you speaking like that? Had your mother put up a fight with you again?" Oliver questioned his daughter making her take a seat beside him on the couch present in the garden
"Do you think that I would even be worried a bit if your wife would have said anything to me? Never Dad never in my lifetime I will spare a minute of thought for her words," Louisa replied curtly
"Then why are you looking so sad? Won't you tell Dad what had happened?" Oliver questioned rubbing Louisa's arms
"I had just hurt the person who loves me the most due to my foolishness," Louisa answered looking down
"No, you didn't hurt me in any way," Oliver shrugged
"Dad, I am speaking about Aunt Flora," Louisa said seriously
"You think Flora loves you more than I do?" Oliver questioned surprised
"Dad, that's is not what I meant. I just wanted to say that she loves me too," Louisa tried explaining to her father
"But you have clearly mentioned that you just hurt the person who loves you the most. Do you think that flora can love you more than me?" Oliver yelled
"Dad, for heaven's sake it's not the time to get jealous. I know you love me the most and I just said that normally as Flora does love me too. Can you please put your jealousy aside and discuss the real topic?" Louisa questioned exhaling a sharp breath
"Okay," Oliver said looking towards another side
"Dad, I love you," Louisa hugged him from one side and he immediately turned towards his daughter and kissed her on the forehead
"I love you more," he said pulling her more closely into his embrace
"Now that you got the testimony that I love you the most can you discuss the thing you wanted to speak with me," Louisa said pulling her back from her dad's embrace
"Yes we will but first tell me why is Flora hurt? She loves you so dearly, of course not more than me and she treats you like her life so what kind of words from you made her hurt?" Oliver questioned
"Dad, you are looking at me right. Did I ever dress up in this kind of attire for our office?" Louisa questioned back
"No, you have never worn anything even close to this. You always walk into the office with your track pants or hoodie and looking at you in this attire shocked the hell out of me too," Oliver replied chuckling
"Please try to be a little serious Dad. As you said I never like wearing them but I wore them only because Aunt Flora picked them for me with love. I even let the people do makeup to my face and something to my hair because Aunt Flora wants to see me like that. I sat in that chair for an eternity even though I hated every minute of being seated there giving access to someone to do all these things to my body. But, after all of that Aunt Flora said that I look so beautiful and every guy in this country will fall for me if they look at me like this. She even continued that they won't leave me until I accept their proposal and that made me so angry that I lost my patience and burst out on Aunt Flora without even thinking about the later consequences," Louisa said stomping her foot
"Did you say words to her like you do to your Mom?" Oliver questioned
"No, I never say that kind of words to anyone because no one has done those things to me as your wife did. All I said was why do everyone on the earth including you want me to get hitched with someone? Why can't you let me live in peace? Why does everyone keep pushing me towards the thing I avoid most? This is what I said to her," Louisa said punching the table
The newspapers lying on the table fell due to the pressure of Louisa's punches
"Lou, why are you hurting yourself, Baby? I know that Flora was hurt with your words but you shouldn't hurt yourself for that," Oliver said pulling her hands away from the table and kissing them
"She is not just hurt dad she is beyond hurt and she started ignoring my presence and is behaving like a maid. She is saying that I should have never crossed the line and all. Tell me, Dad did any of us treat her like a servant in this house? She is a family, right? I know I was stupid but how can she take that top her heart? She knows how I am and how stupid I behave when I lose control over me, so she should understand me when I apologized right?" Louisa asked holding her dad's hands
"Yes Lou Baby, yes. She will understand you. You please don't get hyper that's not good for your health. Please be cool," he said rubbing Louisa's arms all over when her breathing got high
Oliver rang the bell and immediately two people came near to them. "Call the people on Young madam's floor and ask them to bring her medicines which are present in the third drawer from the left side near her wardrobe. Bring those medicines fast," he yelled at them
"Louisa, don't think too much. Calm down; breath in breath out. Follow that," he said ruffling her hair
"Calm down calm down," he kept repeating until the time the servants ran to them with the medicines
"Baby, open your mouth. Don't chew them," Oliver said putting the medicines in her mouth
"Keep breathing," he said rubbing her hands
Louisa's breath got even in a few minutes.
"You okay baby?"
Oliver questioned Louisa when he saw her breathing normally
"Yes dad, I am okay," she replied
"How many times should I warn you to not to think too much or get hyper as that will make your condition worse. You need to think with a cool mind Louisa. We keep medicines at the home, office and every place we have access to but what if you lose your patience and get hyper at the places where we can't reach? What will be our position then?" Oliver questioned with concern
"I am sorry Dad, it's just I was feeling so bad about the way Aunt Flora behaved with me. I thought of having control over my senses but I couldn't hold it longer and you saw the result," she said looking down
"That's okay Baby. Don't worry about anything. We will talk to your Aunt Flora and she will understand you. How long will she stay away from her lifeline?" Oliver said smiling
"Okay, Dad. Now you tell me what you wanted to ask?" Louisa said smiling
"Lou, be calm and composed and answer everything clearly. It's just you and your Dad so don't be worried about anything, okay?"Oliver said to Louisa
"Okay Dad, I will try keeping cool. But why are you warning me like that?" Louisa questioned
"I am not warning you baby; I am just preparing you for the questions," Oliver replied
Louisa nodded her head picking up the newspapers from the floor
Louisa's eyeballs bulged out looking at the headlines. Her ears didn't listen to any word her dad was saying and her heartbeat rose for one more time.
"Louisa, is everything okay?"Oliver questioned when he observed his daughter not paying heed to his words
Louisa handed him the newspaper and kept looking at the change of colors on his face.
