'I just want to be your friend!'
Gray's words keep ringing om his ears even after he got home. That surprised him, actually. What could be going on his mind?
'If he knows the truth he might run away from me.'
Lucas sighed and covered his eyes with his forearm. He's been laying on his bed for quite sometime now with Gray's words encircling his thoughts.
'I don't need a friend.'
"Lucas..."
He flinched upon hearing those voice. How...
"Lucas..."
He slowly removed his forearm and saw him sitting on the bed, looking straight into his eyes. He sat down, not breaking the eye contact.
"Have you forgotten about me?" He asked in a low, chilly voice. Lucas shook his head.
He slowly reached out to touch his cheek. Lucas closed his eyes and waited but minutes have passed by and he couldn't feel anything touching his cheek.
He opened his eyes only to be welcomed by darkness. He didn't realised he had fallen asleep.
'A dream...'
He instinctly looked at his bedside table. On it is a picture frame with a picture of two people smiling so widely. They looked so happy, it's suffocating.
He decided to go outside and take a walk to get rid of suffocation. It's been so long since he smiled that widely. He's wondering, Did he really forget how to be happy? When was the last time he felt genuine happiness?
Ah, this suffocating feeling just won't go away. How can he get rid of this feelings and not feel it again?
He could hear him again. His voice is echoing on his mind again. He closed his eyes and walked faster, hoping for the voices to stop.
"Have you forgotten about me?"
'Stop...'
"Lucas, let's be together forever..."
'Please... Make it stop...'
"Lucas, I love you."
'Someone... Help me... Make it stop...'
"Lucas!" He suddenly heard a loud voice calling his name followed by a blinding white light and loud screech coming from a car.
'Finally, it will stop.'
He closed his eyes and waited for the impact.

Gray stopped on his tracks when he saw someone waiting outside his door. He turned around and decided to leave but the person waiting already saw him.
"Gray!" She shouted while running towards him. He stopped and his tightened into a fists. He didn't even bother turning around. He doesn't want to see her face and get mad even more.
"Finally, I got to see you. Y-you're not answering my texts or my calls so I decided to drop by. How are-"
"What do you want?"
"I'm getting married." She answered in a low voice after a minute of silence. Gray lowered his head, his whole body trembling due to mixed emotions. He wanted to cry but would that change anything? All he can feel now is pity, pity for himself.
"So?" He still managed to say that in a cold way.
"I... I want you to be there. Gray, I want to make it up to you. Please..."
"Make it up for me? Is that house not enough? Or do you want to show off to your new husband that you're a good mother?"
"That's not true!" She shouted and stand infront of her. "You know that's not true." Her voice trembled on those last words.
"You abandoned me for another person. If you wanted my blessing, I'm sorry I can't give it to you."
She suddenly hugged him that made him flinched. But he remained still.
"I'm sorry, Gray... Please, forgive me. I know-I know that I've done a lot of bad things and I truly regret it." She looked up and forced to look at him in the eyes. "Let us start again, please."
"Bad things?" He forcefully removed her and rudely pushed her away. "You destroyed me." He then left before she could say a word.
The cold air outside has helped cooled him a little. He still trembling from anger but not that much anymore. He's thinking of walking for an hour, hoping that she won't be there anymore when he comes back.
He sighed and looked around. Everyone seems to be happy and without problems. How many of them are hiding themselves through a mask? Like him, who only pretends to be happy but is actually a lonely person. Maybe this is the result of living alone for so many years, you become empty and lonely.
Lucas' face suddenly popped off his head that it surprised him. His dead, empty eyes seems to be staring at him.
'Maybe the reason why I seem to be curious of him is because we're the same.' He thought.
It's as if Lucas suddenly came to life that he sees him walking straight to the intersection with the traffic light still on Go. His action made the people around curious.
"No... That's Lucas." The sudden realization hit him and immediately run off towards him.
"Lucas!"
He shouted and grabbed him on his arm and hugged him tightly. He then heard a loud beep and a curse word from the angry driver.
"Are you crazy?! Just what the hell are you trying to do?!" He shouted at him but his heart is beating rapidly. He's so scared but also relieved. What could have happened if he didn't saw him? He hugged him tighter while erasing that thought.
"Please... Don't do that again." He whispered.
"Why..." Lucas' voice cracked. "I just want to make it stop."
"I'll help you." He said while feeling his heart that is also beating faster. Is Lucas scared too? "I'll help you so please... Don't do that again."
