Chapter 6 - A Substantial Substitute

Exiting the small area that it now called home, the goblin was thoroughly angry. There were no sticks. How can one be a goblin without a stick? Such ideas are so ludicrous and stupid. This goblin decided, it must find a stick. But it only found the bad dust that covered his snack. Where oh where will he find his stick? But a goblin is a crafty creature. Out of options the goblin settles for the second best thing, as all goblins know when in doubt, use a rock. Swiftly spotting a powerful weapon, the goblin retrieves his new tool of power and dominance.

He paws it for a moment. It is rather round and small. It would no doubt do its duty as a true goblin's weapon should, but a thought comes to mind. Why doesnt he find a bigger rock!? Such intuitive thinking! And in the nick of time, a large rock that fits the entire palm is nestled against the corner of the cave. Such a excellent weapon. How amazing. This goblin now has 2 rocks! Truly a menace to all his enemies. It is quite unfortunate, but a stick will come by eventually. As all goblins know, good sticks come to those who wait. So the goblin waited, and waited, and waited, and, "Where is my STICK!?" thought the goblin. So frustrated the goblin runs back into the small cave. Only to slip and tumble on something, something long, thin, not sturdy, very YUMMY, a bone.

And then something magical occurs, or would have if the goblin didnt immediately eat the bone cause he was hungry.
