As the combat came to a close more unintelligible dialogue occurred between the violent and cruel murderers. Eventually a quite distinct sight was observed, the adventurers cut the ears from the goblins. They went from each goblin and easily tore their ears from their corpses. How cruel! How barbaric! Eventually they stopped and discussed once more. But no more strange things were done to the corpses. But more hell would be unleashed upon this already destroyed home.
It was simply smoke.
Smoke that brought ash.
Ash that burnt flesh.
Ash that brought pain.
The adventurers were burning the bodies of the goblins, oh the evil devils! The only things still alive were the adventurers and the vines that seemed to grow bigger, if only ever so slightly as the goblins burned.
