Synopsis
Ashito Hagiwara is just an ordinary high school student. That is until he dies and is reincarnated as a... Potato! But as he soon finds out he's not just a potato. He's a magic potato. I will not be writing on days I can not come up with a continuing of the story as I do not want the novel to become rushed and feel incomplete.

Chapter 1 - Death By Potato

Ashito Hagiwara was an average 17 year old highschool student living in Japan, Tokyo.

As mentioned before he was very average. Average grades, average school, average intelligence and average height at 171 cm, with black hair. Only thing he wasn't average at was sports. He was below average at that. Quite frankly he sucked at sports. He was a lazy teen, who liked anime, manga, watching TV and sleeping. You could call him a couch potato. Which made the following quite ironic.

While going to school on his everyday route, as always he passed the supermarket. He already knew that today would be a shipment of items and food. He knew this because he had noticed that every other Monday the store restocked. He would always be going through the people transporting the goods, because the street was very narrow.

Today as always the truck was filled to the brim with items, but this time unlike the other times there were even items on top. Ashito noticed this before entering all the havoc. As Ashito was going past the back of the truck he heard a voice coming from the top of the truck:

"Here comes the box of potatoes! Yeeeeet!"

After saying that the worker on top of the truck threw the box of potatoes off the top of the truck aiming for the behind of the truck, but unfortunately at this moment standing there was Ashito.

Ashito looked up and saw a box of potatoes falling. He wanted to move, but he was in so much shock that he just couldn't. He watched as the box seemingly came closer and closer until it had collided with his skull.

The force, the weight and the shock killed Ashito. In his final moments he thought 'It's over…' But he was incorrect, as he would soon find out.
