After a brief moment, Ashito woke up in his potato body. Or more accurately his two potato body's since he was cut in half.
"Aaaaaaah!" Ashito screamed, "This pain is even more terrible than I thought it would!"
"What? Who said that? Show yourself!" the confused knight said, while searching for the voice's owner.
"You bastard! You'll pay for this!" Ashito said, as his two sliced pieces started sluggishly sliding to each other.
After a few seconds the pieces had combined back into a single potato. As soon as that had happened Ashito used his psychic abilities to fly up and float a meter above the ground as a violet psychic light surrounded him.
"What the hell. A magic potato? Are you the one who was talking?" shocked said the black night.
"Indeed. Now you will apologize for what you did to me and leave this family alone! Got it?"
"What? Are you kidding me? What the hell can you do? You're just a pota-"
Before the black knight could complete his sentence the table the child and father were sitting at lifted off the ground and shined with the same glow as Ashito.
Before the knight even had time to realize what was happening, the table came barreling towards him. After less than five seconds the table collided with the night and sended him flying into a wall, slightly rupturing it.
"Suck it. That's what you get for attacking ME - the almighty potato!" victorious said Ashito when he turned at the family looking relieved, but frightened at what had just happened, "Oh, hi! You're welcome for me saving you, all I want in return is you to not eat me. Sound good."
The confused mother and father nodded their heads, but the child looked at Ashito with a glimmer in his eye.
"Wait mister. I want to give you something" said the young boy as he ran off into another room.
He returned less than a minute later, holding a small straw hat.
"This is a straw hat for one of my dolls, but since you saved us I want you to have."
"Awww, how cute." Ashito thought.
"Thank you very much!" said Ashito as he floated closer to the ground so the young boy could reach him and the boy put the straw hat on his head.
"You're welcome, Tiny Potato Man!"
"Tiny Potato man… Not the nicest thing I've heard, but it's fine." thought Ashito.
He looked back at the family one last time.
"You're welcome, thank YOU and goodbye!" Ashito said and slowly floated out of the house, through the open door.
