Chapter 51 - The Darkest Nights Begins

Back to the present day, Schaffe and Jay were returning from that village. it was the last day. The time was almost five in the morning on the last day of August.

"Man, I can't believe it took me that long," said Schaffe.

"Well, I guess you be sleeping till afternoon," said Jay.

"Maybe," said Schaffe. Victoria comes into the room.

"Hey, Schaffe? Fredrick Abberline has called he requests you head to Whitechapel in a place called Buck's Row, it seems a killing has happened and he wants to see if it is done by a demon," said Victoria.

"Really? The maker has it in for me," said Schaffe. "Well, I guess we can take a ride, Jay, The sooner we are done the sooner I can go to bed."

"Alright, sir," said Jay. They head back to the car and head for Buck's Row in Whitechapel.

They arrive in Buck's Row where Fredrick is waiting.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you, Lord Frye," said Fredrick.

"It's fine, it seems you need me to see what happened?" asked Schaffe.

"Yeah, I was wondering if this was done by a demon. if you want to look?" asked Fredrick. "But I have to say it was a gruesome sight."

`  "It's fine I've seen rougher stuff," said Schaffe. He takes Schaffe to his body and sees how mutilated and twisted looks.

"This was Mary Ann Nichols," said Fredrick. Schaffe is staring at the remains and starts to feel that e seen something like this before and starts to have flashbacks of the night his mother was murdered.

  "My god," said Schaffe.

"Yeah, it's not a pretty site," said Fredrick.

"Well, this is done by a person if it was a demon, I feel like what we are seeing would be less because all the inner organs are everywhere," said Schaffe.

"So, this was a murder, I was afraid of this," said Fredrick. "Thanks, and sorry, you had to see this."

"No problem I will be on my way home," said Schaffe. He leaves and heads back home.

Hours later Schaffe was in his office with his Jacket and hat off. He is on a couch looking at the ceiling he has not gone to bed yet as it is two at noon. Jonathan walks in.

"Man, you look rough," said Jonathan.

"Yeah, I have been up all night and then this morning I went to the site of the murder in Buck's Row," said Schaffe.

"I see, it must have been rough," said Jonathan.

"Yeah, but when I saw the body, started to remember the night my mother was killed years ago, it was like the same scene," said Schaffe.

"Oh, it seems you are trying to tell me that who killed this girl is the same man who killed your mother," said Jonathan.

"Yeah, but that's impossible that man is probably dead, there no way it is," said Schaffe. "Oh, well it's none my business, we should focus on protecting our own their killer loose in London.

  "Yes, I agree," said Jonathan
