Schaffe was in his office doing paperwork. it has been a day since his encounter with Jack. He could not stop thinking that the same man who had killed his mother was back killing once more. Jay enters and sees him.
"Sir, are you feeling alright?" asked Jay.
"Alright, I guess," said Schaffe.
"How was the talk with Abberline?" asked Jay.
"Alright, I told him what I saw and what happened," said Schaffe.
"That's good," said Jay.
"Yes, I think I need something to help me get through this," said Schaffe.
"I'll go get something for you to eat then," said Jay, as he left the room.
Jay was on his way to the kitchen when he bumped into Jonathan reading a book in a hall near his office.
"Ah, Jonathan," said Jay.
"How are you today, Jay?" asked Jonathan.
"Alright," said Jay. "I was wondering if you can do me a favor?"
"What would that be?" asked Jonathan.
"Well, it's Lord Frye, he has been acting differently since he awoke in the hospital," said Jay.
"I have seen as well, you think he hid something from Abberline?" asked Jonathan.
"Maybe but I feel he might open up more to you," said Jay.
"I'll see what I can do, It's up to him to open up," said Jonathan.
"Thank, Vampire King," said Jay. He leaves for the kitchen and Jonathan heads to the office.
Jonathan enters the office and sees Schaffe.
"Jonathan is something wrong?" asked Schaffe. Who sees him come in?
"I could say the same to you," said Jonathan. "You have been acting defiantly since you have been discharged from the hospital, even Jay thinks this."
"Well, it's about this killer I meet," said Schaffe.
"Yeah, you told us what he looked like," said Jonathan. "He seems like a real ruffian."
"Well, remember when it was like when I saw his first victim?" asked Schaffe.
"Yeah, and it was like when you saw your mother when she was killed," said Jonathan. "But what you're telling me now is you know it him."
"It not that I know it him, he told me it was him he even remembered me when I was found by him," said Schaffe.
"Did you tell Abberline this?" asked Jonathan.
No, I told him what a policeman should know, it is not my job to capture this killer and I should stick to my business," said Schaffe. "I must be still in effect of his magic spell somehow."
"I see, that good thing then," said Jonathan. "But hopeful ever he did was harmless."
"It's more of a mental spell it attacks my brain," said Schaffe.
"I see it makes you more insane," said Jonathan.
"Correct," said Schaffe. "I can barely remember what been dreaming of but I just know it will wear off."
"Just make sure to keep, Jay informed about this," said Jonathan. "Or even my sister, she should know what her Fool has a problem." He leaves the room.
"I don't even know anyone who could help me," said Schaffe. He continued his paperwork.
