Chapter 2 - The Link.

Mentally Saburo prepped himself. Since he didn't know what game in-development the key would give him access to. He had to keep his expectations low. So that when he did indeed get to test out that particular game he wasn't hit with a wave of disappointment.

He clicked the link as it led him to an unknown site. The site it ended up leading to was the home page of Raze Framework. He entered in the entrance code that was sent with the link to gain access into the site, after entering in the access key it took him to another site. Where the game in particular he would be testing popped up. Its name was Rorzuoka he proceeded to download it.

"Whoa..." was the only word that came to mind at the time. Infront of him was the eye catching title of the game Rorzuoka. He decided to set up a camera to capture his reaction once he started playing the game. He kept it off to save both power and not record none interesting content, his intentions were clear. The goal was to capture this rare moment both for him and his friends included.

A hole appeared sucking in the the title to leave a blank screen, which was slowly replaced with the ingame starter character set up.

This of-course left Saburo bursting at the seems with excitement. As a naked character appeared. 'The game told him that both his account progress and character setup will be saved, he would be able to find his initial setup and game progress when the game officially comes out'.

"This is so cool he whispered to himself." Under his breath.

When he was setting up his character he chose what he thought was cool rather than what was convenient. He wore a dark shirt, dark pants, he then chose to wear an eye catching red cloak over the top.

With his facial features he strictly went with blue eyes, with the rest of the features leaving them as default. With his hair he changed it to white with the edges giving them a charcoal dark colour so it appeared as though the ends of his hair were burnt.

He then took a few seconds to marvel at his work, satisfied he silently nodded to himself in agreement and moved onto his weapon choice.

Now since the game was still in development every single one of the 'key users' had full access to all the weapons that were to be ingame. When Saburo saw the weopons available to him he was taken back.

They seemed not to be modern, in the list were, a bow, a sword, a spear etc... Razer normally produced games that came with a modern assortment of weopons. This was most definitely not what he was expecting. So he decided to checkup on the game using the search engine on his phone, looking for what time period the game itself targeted, only to find barely any information about the game.

There was nothing to be found about the era or any information about the game itself. It seemed like Raze Framework wanted to keep what they were developing a mystery from pretty much everyone, even the lucky testers that were chosen to test it.

Saburo thought for a bit at why they might do such a thing. The game company must know after the testers are done with testing there will be leaks, but then he realised that Raze may be banking on this exact thing.

See it would be free marketing campaign as the 100 lucky testers either share it via video of their gameplay to people or by word on social media, which would generate a ruckus as game news outlets scramble to be the first to report on this information. Which in the end will cause hype, which will benefit the game itself.

"It is a pretty clever move" Saburo thought to himself. As he returned, his full attention to the matter at hand, which was choosing a weopon class. As all the skills were unlocked and the weapons themselves, he could mix and match to his heart's content.

He decided to choose a bow purely because it grabbed his eye, which was a suprise for sure since his aim was worse than your average gamer. Its the reason he either chose weapons which had an area of effect damage or ones where you could spray and let rng ( 'rng' essentially means there is some level of random luck involved in the game.) take care of the rest.

He ended up choosing a 'magic bow' one that seemed as though it was hand made by the Gods themselves.

He then started slapping on a bunch of skills and effects on it, a few he didn't even read over and chose them merely on how cool they looked, as he slapped them on they appeared on the the bow grip. Small miniature characteristics of what runes he chose appeared on his bow handle, there was one for fire, one for ice etc. He then noticed there was also scrolls specifically for weapon upgrading he decided to just upgrade it to its max level. As a secondary weapon he choose a long dark staff.

It had a pure jet black colour to it. If the bow was made by the Gods themselves, then the staff was made by Demons. At each end of the staff were dragon heads. He decided to also just slap a bunch of runes to it and also upgrade it to its max. He didn't really care at this point, his whole goal was seeing the gameplay itself.

After he was done with the character creation/weapon set-up. He clicked the ready button only for nothing to happen.

"What the f*ck?" He cursed out loud.

He repeatedly clicked the ready button but nothing happened, till all of sudden the game just crashed closing the application.

"Unbelievable... Of all the times it had to happen."

As he moved the mouse to reopen the game application... He all of sudden blacked out, upon clicking on the application itself.
