For an old man, Caleb was quick on his feet as he lead Saburo to the Fel Dragons guild building situated on the outside portion of the city.
He lead him at a brisk pace with a determination, as Saburo took in the sites of the trading city. There was a bustle of noise in the area they passed through, long gone from the wide roads that were filled with traffic.
They found themselves passing through a large market place, numerous stalls were littered all iver the place. Wuth each selling a variety of goods from fruit, to vegetation, to other commodities.
After walking for who knew how long they found themselves clear of the market. They walked towards a large walled area. The followed the wall towards a gate and at its entrance were all sorts of people leaving and entering, at its entrance courtyard were people wearing all sorts of things. From fully dressed armoured individuals to clothed armoured individuals, accompanied with all sorts of weopons. Some handling great swords and other spears. There were some grouped together in three man groups and others were by their lone some.
When they walked through the courtyard the old man's demeanour changed, he walked as though he was of importance, his back straight and the air around him assertive. They some of the individuals who were in the courtyard who noticed these two walking through to the Fel Dragon's building entrance. A few started gossiping inbetween eachother. As expected Saburo was blind to most of this he eyes were fixated on the 4 armoured individuals clad in dark armour, with great swords talking amongst themselves.
"They look so cool." he thought.
One of them turned to look at the two, Saburo thought this individual was looking directly at him so he averted his childish gaze, but unbeknown to him he paid Saburo little heed.
They arrived at the entrance of the great building itself. Mounted on the great wall above the entrance was the name of the guild Fel Dragon coloured in a dark navy blue.
They entered into the great building to find people looking at posters, some seated and others playing dice games.
The old man looked around, turned to Saburo and gave a little smiled before speaking.
"Nearly there..." He said to himself.
He then led Saburo to the reception area which was crowded with both posters and sets of eyes looking for their next pay day.
Caleb and Saburo both approached the desk where two women were behind a large wooden desk who normally delt with the adventurers paper work/ issues. She was the one you spoke to for quests, jobs and restricted high end dangerous work only meant for high level adventurers.
The Fel Dragons guild like all other adventurer guilds made its share of profits via jobs it was tasked with by people. It could range from protection requests, requests for the clearing of dangerous/destructive (how should i put it) wildlife? You could also ask of them to deal with any particular dangerous problems or individuals.
Usually the requests were separated in types and difficulty/ danger. The more dangerous it was the more money you had to dish out it was common knowledge if you wanted a skillful adventurer to do a job you wanted, risk their life, you had to entice them with a high rewards then.
the guild didn't set the amount you had to, as they themselves couldn't force the adventurers to do that particular job, that decision was up to the individual, they could merely ask for an adventurer's aid wether or not they would accept, the choice was up to them.
Like the requests were seperated in terms of difficulty so were the adventurers, were also seperated in terms of skill. A top teir adventurer was usually a powerful individual but such as his skill was, so was their price for employing such a person. It was common knowledge in order to attract one the pay would not be small or... You could just beg and have hope he has the heart to help you out.
"Can I help you" One of the women asked behind the desk.
Saburo simply satred with a blank expression. Caleb was the one to speak.
"Yes we are here.." As he turned to look at Saburo "to speak with 'Master Taichi Sora' where is he?"
"He is in his office with someone." Was the reply.
"Ah we will be going then." Caleb quickly replied.
You may wondering how Caleb was able to ask such questions and gain such information easily well who would have bad intentions in a place such as this add on the fact this Caleb is most definitely not a simple old man. He was at his time a warrior who studied and dedicated his life to the blade, he even had a hand in this guild master's life, ever since then they were close friends well close in their terms.
Caleb led Saburo to a staircase as they travelled up-wards past a few levels till they reached the top. At the top they found a pair of double set doors. Caleb didn't even bother to knock, knock? He just strode in like he never heard of such a thing.
When they did enter they found two people in side both seated. One behind a desk and the other in one of the chairs besides the desk.
Upon hearing the dramatic arrival of Caleb they were both looking at them. One of the guys who was behind the desk seemed irritated but his irritation was instant before being replaced with a smile.
Saburo of course was unsure what business they had in this particular room. Who was this Master and what was his significance he didn't know. All he knew was they made a rude entry into a room in which they were uninvited.
"Old man" The one who spoke was the one who was behind the desk who was now at his feet heading towards them.
