Chapter 44 - You really want to know?

Darwin stared open-mouthed in horror at Stella before his face turned a deep shade of red as he blushed.

The reason for Darwin's horrified staring was that Stella's whole back and her stomach and abdomen were covered with wounds, marks and scars. And the reason he blushed was that Stella was wearing nothing underneath except a black bra.

She said, "Could you treat these too?"

Darwin snapped out of his daze and blushed deeper as he looked away. Stella's body was close to perfection, with a slender figure to complement her short hight and a flat abdomen. Her bushy black hair fell halfway down to her waist.

Darwin said as he averted his eyes from Stella's perfect figure, "How did you get all of these wounds?"

Stella shrugged, "Fights. Falls. Injuries. I don't really remember." Stella was a very restless person who never could sit still at one place. She was rarely home until she had to.

She would be off somewhere, either playing around or getting in trouble and fights.

Darwin sighed and suddenly exclaimed as Stella made to lie down on the floor of the attic, "What are you doing?!?! Look at how dirty the floor is. Your wounds will get infected."

"Huh? Something like that will happen?" Stella tilted her head as she sat up again.

Darwin sighed as he took off his sweater and laid it on the floor, "Here. Lie on this. It's fairly clean."

Though Darwin was quite lanky, he liked to wear baggy clothes and this sweater was big enough that it would have easily fit the more tall and muscled Derek.

Stella murmured a thanks as she laid down on her stomach and Darwin set to work on her back.

"Hey Stella?" Darwin asked suddenly. He had been very surprised when Stella had not even uttered a peep as he cleaned her wounds and rather seemed to relax.

"Hmm?" Stella asked with her eyes closed.

Darwin: "Some of these wounds look serious. Do you never get them properly treated?"

Stella: "I wash them the best I can. And steal some medicine from the first-aid box. But, my hands rarely reach the wounds on my back."

Darwin almost teared up upon hearing the nonchalance in Stella's voice.

It took him some time to compose himself, and by the time Darwin was calm enough to talk properly, he was already done with the wounds on her back.

Stella turned around and Darwin looked at Stella's fair abdomen in horror. "What the hell!?!?! What in the fuck's name are these?!?!?" Darwin exclaimed and Stella's eyes flew open.

"What's wrong?" She asked, sitting up.

Darwin had noticed quite a few marks that seemed like whip marks on Stella's back, but her abdomen and stomach were filled with them. Stella's fair porcelain skin was barely visible under the bleeding wounds and the scars that stood out so horribly.

Stella laid back down and hesitated for a moment.

It was the first time Darwin had ever seen Stella hesitate. He was instantly alarmed and looked at her face worriedly. Stella sighed and said, "You really want to know?"

"Definitely." Darwin was firm.

Stella was still reluctant, "You might be really hurt upon knowing."

But Darwin was not about to chicken out, not now. "All the more reason to know."
