"Seo Joon, are you okay?" Hwan sobbed beside my bed, I looked to my younger twin who held my hand tightly.
It hurt, so much.
My head was a mess as I watched my mother, Feng Yi came to the bedroom with a tray and a steaming bowl full of porridge.
My eyes then averting to my father, tall and broad, a worried face looked down to me who laid almost lifeless on the bed.
"I'm– I'm sowwwyyyyy,' Hwan cried louder because I didn't answer.
I immediately covered up my ears because his cries made my head spun harder, my vision got blurry and I saw my mother patted Hwan's back and carried him out from my bedroom.
I believed he got a scolding from my parents after what he did to me.
We were playing, as usual, after our lesson with Elder Wu. We played and explored our father's office and Hwan found a weird log, almost as tall as us.
We laughed and played pretend as if we were fighting with the imaginary enemy, but then Hwan accidentally bumped into the log and it fell from its place.
Right above me and that shit hit me pretty hard on my head.
I passed out after.
"Seo Joon-ah," I opened my eyes slowly, I found myself inside a warm embrace of my father.
Of Seo Joon's father, the older man's face scrunched as if he could also feel my pain.
His first son's pain, "father," I said with a small tone, the older man listened carefully, "don't, don't scold Hwan, it's not his fault entirely."
Father's mouth turned into a thin smile, "I didn't," he patted my back, the headache became better as he used his healing power on me, "but you know your mother scolded Hwan badly."
I laughed a little, my mother was indeed a scary woman while my father was far calmer than her.
My mom was a human who protected by wind fae while my father was a human who protected by forest spirit, both of me and Hwan got the power from those spirits who protect my family under them.
We lived in a small town near the south lake, a calm village in the border of the White Tiger's territory and the capital's great wall.
I was a normal human once, reborn in a whole new world where magic exists.
I needed time to process everything, I nuzzled my father's strong chest.
When my head became better, I ate the porridge my mother made for me with the help of my gentle father.
My head a mixed between a child named Seo Joon and an adult named Seo Jin, my past self.
When my father left me alone to rest again, I slowly got out of my bed. Walking slowly to the big window and sat on the window sill, quiet wide for me to sit.
Usually, Hwan and I would sit here to watch the birds chirping on the trees, now I sat here to arrange my mind.
My name was Min Seo Jin back then, 32 years old, an actor in my country.
Now my name is Seo Joon, firstborn of Rua and Feng Yi, next autumn I would be eight years old. I had a twin brother named Hwan.
The people in here was a little different from my previous world. The world, the new one I knew started with this village.
The village I lived in was in the middle of the forest, the border between the Great White Tiger's territory and the Capital's territory.
The capital would start from the Great Wall, I never been there, while the White Tiger's territory famous known for the beautiful scenery of mountains' lakes and hills.
I never see the White Tiger either, he was familiar to some kind of great gods in here.
Gods exist in here and rather than the same concept of gods who existence was unknown; only live with people's belief, in here they were more like guardians who control and protect people like my family.
They were real but far beyond reach for a commoner like me.
So maybe rather than gods, they were more like … kings? No? I didn't know how to explain it either.
The setting in this world wasn't as modern as my previous world, they didn't have any gadgets to help them but instead, they had their style of modern.
They had magic.
Cultivations.
Level of someone's magic would become higher if they practice, similar to a game.
I looked at my hand, concentrating and I could see a bundle of wind swirling on my palm.
My family's magic was wind and healing magic, I remembered my father could control plants too at some point.
I couldn't help but sigh, my memories of Seo Jin didn't help much aside from giving me a more matured mind.
Now with my memories, I couldn't help but amazed by the nature of this world. Something that seemed so normal before now seemed so enchanting and extraordinary to my eyes.
I believed they had something like kingdom setting in here too, Elder Wu, my teacher in the village's small school taught me this one week ago.
Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the good students who took notes of everything he said, I was more into the average child who sometimes dozed off when the water spirit taught us.
In here, mystical creatures and human lived together too.
Magic was common in here but people who couldn't do magic also common, they considered people who had magic naturally without the help of spirits to be blessed.
People tried to form contracts with spirits to get higher and more powerful magic.
My mother told us her family originally didn't have magic until my great grandfather performed a contract with a kind wind spirit.
While my father's family already a natural-born one but they were under forest's spirit protection from generation to generation.
I wonder if this world also have television and I could be an actor again.
The concept wasn't so different, I smiled as I made a plan to be an actor in this world too.
I didn't know what kind of surprised this world would give me again.
