Although, as tempting as the challenge sounded. Laurens never signed up to be his father's personal slave, he could willingly back out and pretend nothing happened. But was he such a heartless person? Absolutely! Did his father bribe him? Yup!
It was a pretty hefty price for his services. How could he decline a reward given by Jonathan himself? His father practically owes him a favor! And not only one but two rewards, the second one was a ticket for legal absence at any event. Though, you might consider the rewards cheap. However, if you were put in a dungeon full of abnormally strong teenagers with raging hormones and no way to escape. Then obtaining the services of the person in charge of that dungeon is like finding a diamond mine in the outside world. Basically a treasure.
As Long as Laurens is able to get a good impression and avoid showing their guests "Hazard", then he might just survive. Of course, this isn't as easy as it sounds.
In order to avoid the conflict of Hazard, Laurens and his company must avoid two places at all cost. One being the Hazard Park, aka the devil's playground. And two, the Hazard Gymnasium. The former is currently flooded with students due to the early class dismissal, while the later is holding the physical examination of the top 10 Hazardous children, or rather, the 10 troublemakers.
The group hopped on a tour cart, the cart was automatic, it didn't need a driver, thought it did need a commander. So, Jace was in charge to enter the location. Not realizing his mistake of putting Jace as a navigator, Laurens wore his signature smile as the tour officially began.
"Hello Ladies and Man. I am Laurens, your tour guide today, hoping to see the light of tomorrow. Nice to meet you" the boy introduced himself as politely as he can.
"Good day, you may refer to me as Evans Isaac. And these are my companions..." The fiery Lady introduced.
"Glacier Forthold" said the swordswoman.
"Anthony Delilah, a pleasure" nodded the gloved man.
"Very happy to meet you, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me or my comrade, Jace" brightly exclaimed the honor student.
The guests nodded obliviously.
Laurens resumed with his tour, familiarizing the Academy to the outlaws. Although they were on a tour, then never entered any facilities and only remained in their cart. This made the boys' job easier as they don't have to block every student they encounter.
They went to the mall, the dormitories, the houses and even went to the gate. As to how they ended up near the gate... Let's just say, even a GPS can't save Jace's problem. By the time Laurens had realized his mistake, they were already nearing the Hazard Dome.
If you can't tell, this was a bad thing.
Since the dome was reserved for the 10 troublemakers, it was currently a red zone. A red zone is a territory where Laurens deemed to be dangerous for the guests, not because they would be put in danger, but rather, it's because the outsiders might find out the unhinged teachings of Hazard.
Just as the Raven haired boy was at the verge of panic, the situation just turned for the worst.
"Oh my, what a beautiful dome. Would it be alright to have a tour inside?" Suggested Evans.
"No" is what Laurens would've said but unfortunately, he was obligated to follow the guests' every request... Unless, something changes their minds.
Laurens turned to look at the approaching figure near the cart, a perfect timing to prevent their guests to enter the Dome. A wild card has appeared!
The sudden pressure and malicious aura sent shivers down the spine of the outsiders. Immediately turning around, they witnessed a sight to behold. Though they expected the aura to belong to some kind of a monster, instead, they were greeted by a rainbow fur ball?
"Hello, are you guys new here?" Asked the rainbow fur ball, or rather someone who possessed the uniquely colored lock of hair.
"Daniel! Meet our important guests, the outlaws" exclaimed Laurens.
"You mean those crazy psycho freaks who slaughter every mutant they see? They don't look very psychotic to me, also who the heck are you?" The confused Daniel asked the handsome Laurens without his overgrown fringes.
Laurens could feel his sanity snapping, he forgot how vulgar this idiot's mouth was. Though it's good that he speaks his mind out, however, in situations as fragile as these. His mouth can really deal some serious damage.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! What a direct fellow" Anthony, who has been eerily quiet this whole time, finally said something.
Thankfully, they didn't seem to take the moron too seriously, which was good for Laurens. Though, he did make sure to warn Daniel to watch his mouth. It was done silently of course, without the knowledge of the guests. Laurens made sure that Daniel received his threa- message, through a quick game of charades. Showing Daniel a tied up doll full of needles was a bold and effective move.
"B-by the way, what bring you here in the Dome. We can't receive any guests right now because there's an important exam happening inside" reading the script written by Laurens behind the guests, Daniel was able to respond accordingly.
"How did you know we wanted to explore the dome?" Asked Glacier.
"You're guests aren't you? And you're in front of the dome? Isn't that kind of obvious, I may be an idiot, but I'm not stupid" this time, there was no script. Daniel answered it as a matter of fact.
"Huh... I guess that is pretty obvious" Glacier agreed.
Fearing that this conversation will ultimately lead to the guests entering the Dome, Laurens cut it short. It was the perfect opportunity to leave and how could he just let it pass? The boy clapped his hands as a gesture to gain everyone's attention.
"Aw, too bad... and oh? Look at the time, your accomodations for this evening is finally completed. I'm sure you guys are tired from the flight, why don't we go to your private villa as our last stop for today?" he suggested casually.
Evans looked up to the sky to see a wonderful gradient of twilight colors. The sun was already setting and it was true that the fatigue of the flight was gaining on them. Evans ordered Laurens to take them to their appointed inn, or rather private villa. To which the youngster happily obliged at full speed.
Daniel who was left with his mouth agape and still questioning who that violent man was, ran towards the dome as he remembered the threat the mysterious shadow from before, acted.
As they arrived to the guests' private villa, a genuine happy smile creeped to Laurens' face. The time has finally come for the tortures to be over. As the guests' stepped out from the cart one by one, they gave a little nuzzle to the two youngsters' heads. This left the boys bewildered, each guest gave them a word of thanks.
Seeing their confused faces, Evans chuckled and said... "Thank you, we appreciate your company today. And keep up the good work" as they entered the villa without looking back.
Laurens stood frozen with his head down, his mouth formed into a small smile.
"I've never been thanked before. It feels nice" He stated.
Jace looked at the boy beside him with a pitied smile. He was right, getting a "thank you" was rare to mutants like them, this was a pretty great experience for the two of them.
