The General stood over two destroyed IG-100 units, their bodies sliced into segments and still melting due to the sabers. Kha walked in on the General and growled, looking at the waste of credits lying on the floor. The wolf didn't know who was in control of the General's body, but he hoped that it was Jaeger since he was so still. "GENERAL."
The head turned, and through Kha's keen eyes, he saw that the iris' were green, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Apologies, Kha, but he got a little carried away. Most of what our droids scavenged will go to the Dry Dock." Jaeger said, deactivating the sabers he had and placing them within the cape. Turning around, Kha saw how instead of hunching over like Grievous used to do, Jaeger stood up straight as his theropodic legs would allow him, towering within the large room. The droid general approached the Dry Dock's ruler, making the wolf-like leader raising his head to look into Jaeger's eyes. "Any leads on former Separatist facilities to expand our resources?" The General asked, walking up to a repair droid to have it check up on his joints and connections.
"WELL...WE DID MANAGE TO DISCOVER ANOTHER HIDDEN COMPOUD ON AN UNINHABITED WORLD." Kha explained, standing behind the once human general. Jaeger held his arms out, letting the droid study his body, securing some loose fasteners.
"Excellent work. Any information if the sector this compound is in has an Imperial presence?" The general asked, turning his head slightly to look at Kha Vulpus. The leader of the once shanty town sighed, scratching the back of his neck.
"WELL, THAT'S THE THING. OUR SOURCE CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS NO PRESENCE, BUT AFTER SENDING A TRADER TO 'FIND A PORT', THERE WAS A LARGE IMPERIAL PRESENCE IN THE SECTOR. IT APPEARS THAT THE EMPIRE SENT OUT FLEETS TO PATROL FORMER SEPARATIST LOCATIONS." The Separatist leader informed, getting a scoff from General Jaeger.
"We've been over zealous. At least our base of operations is hidden thanks to the equipment we stole from their vessels." The droid scuttled away, finished checking the general's body. "Make sure to not engage if they enter the system. Remember, Dry Dock is just a neutral trading port." He said, reminding Kha of their cover if Imperials entered their system. The two then heard a blast door open, turning their head to see a blonde woman being escorted by two of Jaeger's Commandos. Both were clueless as to who this woman was, but as she grew closer, Jaeger could see the undermesh that the Stormtroopers normally wore. "Ah, you must be the Stormtrooper I captured."
The Commandos halted as soon as Jaeger spoke, allowing the woman to approach. As she closed in, she stopped, standing at attention. "Yes, sir, I am that Stormtrooper. I would hope you could address me by my name, though, Lucia Vonderlorne." She gave Kha Vulpus a glare, remembering what the Separatists did in the past. She then focused on Jaeger, the towering cyborg looking down at her.
"That all depends on your decision." Jaeger comments, leaning forward and putting his face at her level. She Stares into his eyes, seeing the yellow of Grievous swirling within the green of Jaeger. "I require a new face for my troops. As you probably assumed, people don't tend to like being saved by the droids that threatened their security many years ago. If there are more friendly faces saving them from the Empire's oppression, maybe they would join in the fight." He explains, his eyes shaking as the two colors fought for control.
She stared into the windows of his fractured soul, worried that in a split second, the person she'd be speaking to would become very hostile. "Are you certain an Imperial Storm trooper leading a legion of Separatist battle droids would be any better? I'm certain people would be more confused than grateful." She replied, not flinching in her resolve as the larger cyborg stood back up.
"That was something that came to mind, which is why we need a new name. Our group is going by various titles, to those that know us that is, to others we are just a myth; legends that they tell people to follow their authority. I seek to dismantle the Empire and what it has set up and create a new galactic order." Lucia held back a scoff, closing her eyes as Jaeger began to monologue. Despite having been a young Imperial captain, he sounded just like the old aristocrats scheming behind the Emperor's back. None of those men she was thinking of were alive anymore; all of their assets and personnel working for the Empire now. Ever since the destruction of the Death Star by the Rebel Alliance, the Empire has cracked down o independent groups, Giving them two options once they had been revealed: Join the Empire, or the Empire will assimilate you. It was a surprise that this world was untouched by the Empire. "A new system of rule that will correct the wrongs of the past groups: The Republic, the Confederation, the Empire, and the rogue elements. A group that is focused on true unification, where the focus is peace ad prosperity and not some hidden agenda."
Kha Vulpus' face contorts into an expression of shock as this was the first time he had been hearing about this aspiration. "WAIT, I THOUGHT YOU SIMPLY WANTED TO ATTACK THE EMPIRE. WHATS ALL THIS ABOUT MAKING A NEW GALACTIC ORDER?"
General Jaeger turned to face his confused compatriot, his green eyes seemingly glowing in the training room. "I've wanted this ever since my last defense as an organic. I wanted to dismantle the Empire and create a safe and stable society." He turned around, looking out of the window and into a canyon, the red surface soothing the raging spirit within him. "A safe home for the ones I love."
Lucia was beginning to relate to the cyborg, the thing that was once William Jaeger. She opened her eyes and focused on Jaeger. His stance was very human: head held high, arms clasped behind his back, staring out upon a vast expanse which could be the home of a thriving city. She felt a connection with him, and somehow knew he spoke the truth, even though he was sharing a body with the blood thirsty Ex-Separatist general. She knelt to one knee, making up her mind. "General Jaeger, after considering your proposal, I shall accept it and work as your subordinate."
The Red droid general turned around, approaching the group. Kha, having already pledged his allegiance when he was revived, knelt down along side the former prisoner. "Stand up, you two." The two stood up, Lucia taking more time to get up as she tried to keep her balance with her hands bound. "Follow me and we shall discuss the birth of the new faction."
