"But in return you will feed us for the rest of your life..."
Eiji's pupils slowly darkened to an extremely deep black, his fingernails darkened as the chains wrapped around his arms.
Time seemed to take its course but the world still seemed to be in slow motion in Eiji's eyes.
He saw the viscous substance coming towards him and without hesitation gave a punch towards it.
*Banm*
The air around his fists cracked tearing the substance, then he leaned forward and ran towards the ghost.
'I feel extremely strong, my body and mind are at their zenith!'
"ROAR!"
The ghost roars seeing its attack thwarted and like a demonic beast it flew towards Eiji and opened its monstrous mouth trying to swallow it up.
But when she was only a meter away from him, Eiji suddenly deviated from the path of the ghost's attack and came to a halt on her left flank.
To him, the ghost was as slow as a snail, the chains around his arm under his control instantly wrapped the ghost, causing it to fall to the ground.
"ROAR!
Then Eiji lifted it up by pulling it with his chains and hit it against a nearby building.
*Bang*
The shock was so violent that the spirit was embedded in the wall while its limbs were beaten to a pulp.
I feel overpowered!"
Eiji pulled the spirit towards him, pulling it out of the wall at full speed, then lifted both legs and intercepted it with his feet, which crushed it head.
The chains around the spirit as if it had just come to life began to flare and devoured the ghost in their flames under Eiji's calm and unfeeling eyes.
A few seconds later, the chains came back into his arms, he felt his body become weak again, his legs could no longer support his weight, he fell to the ground with his body sweating.
But with his last strength he raised his head, and noticed that the streets were crowded again, the ground had returned to its original color and the street lamps had returned to normal, so he lost consciousness the next moment.
. . . . . . . . . .
I don't want any more darkness.
I want light...
Give me light!
Eiji suddenly opened his eyes, his body covered in sweat as he lay in a hospital bed.
He got up from bed and drew the curtain that surrounded his bed separating his bed from those of the other patients and saw Dewa half asleep sitting on a chair.
When Dewa heard the noise, he opened his eyes and saw Eiji standing up.
He jumped for joy and then came to Eiji with tears in his eyes.
"My boy, you're alive! Haha I was sure an exorcist as powerful as you wouldn't die like that!"
"Keep your voice down, my ears are ringing."
Eiji came to sit back on his bed under Dewa's joyful gaze.
"But by the way, you managed to get rid of the thing."
Dewa approached him and spoke in a low voice as if to avoid prying ears.
"I got rid of it, it won't bother you in the future, you can rejoice, but tell me how I got here."
Dewa told him that they were both transported by an ambulance, when he was awakened the doctor did some analysis and released him, diagnosing him with a simple syncope.
Eiji slept for more than three days, the doctor had diagnosed him with vitamin deficiency and anemia, it was as if his body had been drained of nutrients, after two blood transfusions and several injections his condition improved.
"I see, thanks for staying, but I have a question, who's going to pay the medical bills?" Eiji asked with a few drops of sweat on her forehead.
"Don't worry, I don't have much left on my account, but I can still take care of our medical expenses."
After a few medical examinations, he was released from the hospital the same night he woke up, he and Dewa walked for a while before sitting on a park bench.
Dewa was rather cheerful but Eiji had a completely dark face without the slightest hint of optimism.
"What's wrong? Aren't you happy to get out of the hospital?"
Eiji sighed and then shook his head depressively.
"I don't have a penny, if I don't find work I'll starve to death."
When Dewa heard this, he laughed and was speechless for a moment, and then lowered his head depressively as well.
"I was so happy to get rid of the ghost that I had forgotten my situation."
"I too am no longer employed, I was dismissed from my job because of my frequent absences this last months, my wife threw me out because I was drinking all night out, even suspecting me of infidelity, she also changed the code of our common bank account, I only have my savings left".
Eiji saw Dewa's condition and sighed, finally understanding the meaning of the sentence, if you're wading in shit know that someone is drowning in it.
"Don't worry Dewa, your wife will certainly forgive you your excesses and for your work you'll find a new one, why don't you start your own business? You must be very talented."
"Do you think so?"
Eiji nodded her head while patting Dewa's back in an encouraging manner.
"You're right! I'm going to start my own business and win back the love of my wife and daughter!"
Dewa stood up from the bench with eyes full of flames, then he grabbed Eiji's hands and said with determination.
"Young man I didn't even ask your name, what is your name?"
"Yoneda Eiji..."
"Yomeda Eiji, do you want to open a business with me, you don't have a job and neither do I, we'll start our business together like Sergei Brin and Larry Page!"
"Sorry but it will be without me! I have to go home now, goodbye."
Eiji pulled his hand away from Dewa's grasp and turned and left, but as Eiji walked away a smile appeared on Dewa's lips.
"200.000!"
James suddenly stopped and took a sip of saliva while keeping an extremely serious face.
"How much did you say?"
"¥200,000 monthly salary plus 50% share in the company."
Eiji appeared in front of Dewa at the speed of light and shook his hand with a big smile.
"It's a deal!"
