In a twenty-five square meter apartment, a small young man measuring about 171cm with short black hair and wearing a black tracksuit was lying on the living room floor in front of a large antique red box on which were stuck dozens of Buddhist and Shinto symbols.
The young man suddenly opened his eyes, but didn't move, didn't speak, he was just looking at the ceiling above him.
He stayed like that for more than ten hours before tears streamed from his eyes.
Two hours passed before He slowly rose from the floor, but he fell back down immediately.
He then rose again, and spent more than three hours getting up and falling before he could take a step.
An hour later he was able to walk around the house, five hours later a sound came out of his mouth and it took more than six hours before he could say a sentence in English.
I'm .....alive."

Five days passed since the young man woke up.
He was sitting in the kitchen of the house eating everything edible with tears in his eyes.
"That's great!"
"I love it!"
"What a delight!"
Raw fruit and vegetables, frozen dishes, he ate everything he could find and enjoyed every bite and after eating at the end, the young man drank a large glass of water which he enjoyed as if it were the best drink in the world.
He went upstairs and opened the balcony door, took a deep breath of air and admired the sun in the sky with a sincere smile.
"What a wonderful sight."
He remained silent for a moment enjoying the show in front of him before going back inside the house.
"I've had enough fun."
The young man walked to the door at the end of the corridor and opened it before going inside.
It was a fairly large room with several books neatly arranged on shelves, a solid wood desk and a reading lamp, several pens, and various supplies.
The young man sat down in front of the desk, took a laptop out of one of the drawers, turned it on and waited patiently for the computer to show the desktop before entering the browser and then began to do various research on geography, history, technology and geopolitics.
Several hours later the young man closed the computer and put it back in one of the desk drawers and began to think.
His name was Yoneda Eiji or rather the name of the young man he control was Yoneda Eiji. He was not actually the owner of the body he was in, he didn't remember his former name, but he remembered his former life and the time he spent in "hell".
When he took control of the body he was able to access the memories of the former owner, Yoneda Eiji was a young man of 20 years old, his mother died when he was only 4 years old leaving him in the care of his unmarried father, he was a very antisocial child who did not like to play with other children preferring to stay locked up at home, during all his schooling he had not made any friends and remained discreet in class.
He dropped out of school after finishing his 8th grade, his father tried to dissuade him but he categorically refused to continue his studies preferring to play video games all day long in his room.
His father worked as an archeological and crypto-zoological researcher, he travelled very often throughout Japan and the whole world and came home only a few times a year, so he didn't really have time to educate a child, unfortunately his father died two years ago, leaving him an inheritance of some million Yen and the house.
But Eiji quickly squandered all the money he had on various video games, limited edition collector's items, to the point where he had almost no money left.
He then had the idea of selling some of his father's belongings, so while searching in his father's office he found a red box made of old wood and covered with seals.
Thinking he had found something precious, he tore off all the seals and broke the lock of the box before opening it.
But as soon as he opened the box he saw a dark metal chain that burst into flames as soon as the box was opened, the chain grew several meters in a second and penetrated his body, then the memories of Eiji's body stopped at that moment.
