William, Jonathan, and Xavier remained silent. There were no words that could bring solace to Luka in that moment. So, they simply stayed together in silence.
Luka smiled at everyone in the room and detached himself from Xavier's embrace. "There's something Will and I wanted to discuss with both of you," Luka began.
Xavier furrowed his brow slightly and wrapped his arms around Luka's waist, guiding him back to lean on him. Under his breath, Xavier muttered, "Better." Then he asked, "What was it you wanted to talk about?"
Luka smiled inwardly. "To be honest, I'm quite exhausted. This day has felt unbearably long. Can we just take a break and rest now? I mentioned it earlier just in case I forgot to bring it up later."
