"My oh my" the voice said with a giggle "I thought we would find other worlds first. Being summoned to one is really a surprise." With that a figure in black stepped out of the portal "Thank you dear for letting us in" it said. All of a sudden a dark aura erupted from the portal, a creature made of some dark, ink like substance emerged. From its built it was probably a female, it was completely made of this substance other than its face and hands.
It was unnatural, its eyes were black slits in a white mask while the hands are skeleton like but with a square carved out in the palm. The square went through the entire palm so I could see what was on the other side. She opened her mouth and it looked like the mask was being torn apart where the mouth was connected by white strands.
It opened its eyes, a glowing white orb was adorned where its pupils would be. Her dress was like a river or darkness constantly flowing to the ground, a rode made from strings of shadows. The smile carved over her face was twisted and eerie, yet her movements were oddly graceful.
"I wish this joyous moment of yours could last longer, but atlas my kind's urges are too strong. Run if you must but you can run and hide forever, in wars there are winners, losers and… collateral." The guards were pouring into the room as the scientists backed out but my legs were frozen to the ground. "Oh! Where are my manners." She giggled "I am Gale, the queen of misery, pain and darkness."
The guards surrounded her forming a shield wall. With no warning six hands with no arms below the wrist formed out of silk appearing from thin air. Those hands look exactly like its hands, just bigger and floating in the air. There was a crackle of delight and a deformed creature made of shadows burst out of the portal but stopped behind it. Soon five more followed its lead but all waited behind her.
She flicked her normal hand and those creatures charged tearing at the warriors claws spreading through shields. She locked gazes with me, her eyes seem to be empty, devoid of emotions and feelings. Just than one of those oversized hands flattened three of the warriors, they could not harm or stop it. There was a tug on my hand, jolting me back to reality as I turned to look at that person.
It was Dilya, but there was fear in her eyes as she glanced back at it scared "Lets go, staying here won't make a difference for you, me or anyone."
