Lavi watched at the man causally took a seat beside Katelyn and started having a talk about Nathan. She suddenly felt neglected but still patiently listened to them having a talk.
She pulled out her phone and started to scroll through her updates when a familiar picture popped up and made her look at it twice.
She looked at the man and then back to her phone. She wasn't hallucinating was she?! This was clearly the famous actor Michael!!
Little did she know that she was mistaking Matthew for his twin Michael who often appeared in the media for his famous acting skills.
Katelyn was also suspicious by this man's identity and kept on staring at his face. He was very familiar but she couldn't put a finger on it. Matthew felt a bit uncomfortable by the stares the two ladies were giving him. What did he do now?
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Your the actor Michael Obrian, aren't you?" Lavi asked.
"Nope. I'm his twin." Matthew explained to the both of them and completely ignored the company behind him.
Adan and Tristan became a bit annoyed by this encounter. Matthew's curiousness will only be cured if he found out the answers. So they waited by the side as invisible people.
"Katelyn I'm gonna use the bathroom. I'll be back quickly." Lavi said.
Katelyn nodded at her and she started walking away. Katelyn was surrounded by trustable people and she believed that nothing and would happen.
She turned to look at the group briefly and then finally walked away.
Katelyn watched the retreating back of Lavi and then turned her attention to the three men.
"So what do you want to talk about? Isn't it just weird for you to approach me even though your Nathan's friends." Katelyn felt that this man approach was just to bizarre.
Honestly she just doesn't why he was here and talking to her. Surely it was not just because of Nathan right?
She looked back at Tristan and saw his burning eyes at currently stared at the man who was beside her. She couldn't help but feel bad as, he ditched them to talk to her.
Oh, but where did the other one go? She remembered the blue suit man that stood beside Tristan.
Matthew felt his eyes widen and felt a tad bit of admiration for this woman. She was right and wrong in a sense though.
He was here to share the latest information he gotten from his subordinates about the import of drugs happening in various bars and entertainment places across America. Adan and Tristan were here for this meeting. There was also a bit of concerning news that he discovered.
But because of his curiosity he couldn't help but join the ladies who were discussing Nathan as a flirt. He felt shocked here that because Nathan was literally a iron wall with zero dating skills! Just how could he flirt, huh?!?
"Yes and no." Matthew said. "I'm here for business. With them and what are you doing here, sisters-in-law?"
"Sister-in-law?" Her face had bit a confusion.
"I mean aren't you gonna marry Nathan. He even proposed last week to your parents?" Matthew also looked confused.
Didn't Nathan tell her about it? He even remembered the elaborate speech Nathan said a few weeks ago. That Katelyn was the one he was gonna marry. How come she didn't know?
Matthew suddenly became pale and thought that he became a heartless person. Of course there might be the chance that Nathan was still in the progress of proposing.
But doesn't that mean he spiked the surprise?
Katelyn fell into shock hearing his words and sudden fear crept onto her heart. No, this can't be happening.
It was just dating right? How did it reached so far that he even proposed to her parents? Didn't he say that he just met mother for a quick chat?! He even said he didn't like her mother at all, so why would he go and propose?!
It just doesn't add up!!
Tristan smacked Matthews head. This man had such a big mouth!!! Nathan was for sure going to kill Matthew for leaking this out!
"That hurt!! What the hell Tristan?!" Matthew glared at the man. The the strict look warned him otherwise.
"Katelyn, ignore this guy. He just drunk today and getting over a heartbreak that's why he's a bit jealous of Nathan's don't mind his words." Tristan tried his best to smooth out the atmosphere.
But it seems that it won't work anymore.
"Haha! I see it was joke. Phew! You got me scared! Nathan and me only dated for two weeks. How could he propose... right?" Katelyn asked.
Her voice shook at the end and it seemed that men didn't miss it. A look of concern past their eyes but before they could say anything Katelyn beat them to it.
"I think I should go now. I have to open my boutique tomorrow and I'm super busy. Bye." Katelyn quickly paid for her drink and ran away from the men.
She had to many questions and right now reality hit her hard. She decided that it was best...

Lavi on the other hand came out of the bathroom only to face a few people blocking her way out. Her eyes narrowed as she step back to put a bit of distance between herself and the group.
"What do you want?" She coldly asked.
"Your the lady that beaten our men when they where out on a job. Our boss didn't like that, so he asked us to return the favour in triple the folds. Lady you should have just walked by and ignored that girl."
Lavi froze their hearing his words. Walk by? Why would I walk by? Lavi felt that her ears weren't just ringing. It was whole body that was ringing from rage.
"Now then. Would you like us to show you the way out the easy way or the hard way?" The man with the scar mouth said. But she didn't reply and kept her stance.
"Tch, grab her and let's get out." The scar man walked towards the door and left the other men in the bathroom. In total there was 8 men both tall and strong.
