Katelyn silently look at the moon in the room in a daze. She closed her eyes and let the silence break into the room. Her brain even stopped thinking all she wanted was something or even some way to clear her mind.
And she found it by sitting quietly while basking in the moonlight.
Currently it was 3 am in the morning as she sat there in Lavi's room. And she believed that by morning that Carmel will find out that something had happened and rush to the hospital.
She eyes squinted and she feel into a shallow sleep. She don't even notice that she fell asleep nodding off like that.
The dream was also something that she remembered all to well. It was practically engraved into her head.

- 3 months after the accident-
"Katelyn you should just give up the company and leave it to someone more better and capable then you. Uncle suggests it." The man in front of her was none other than her oldest uncle and her dad's blood brother, Mark Evertine.
But today she felt disgusted beyond words. But she didn't let it show on her blank face as she quietly listened to her Uncle who persuaded her to give the company to him.
She looked at the man who was sitting beside her and noticed that he was playing with his cup seemingly not interested in this conversation. She smiled sweetly at her Uncle, like a good child.
"Your young and have college to do. How can you balance both of them equally? I suggest you had it over to someone more capable. Like Mr. Ownes. He a dependable man and was good at handling people. I say he would bring Howard company to even greater heights."
"Uncle. Your saying someone who has sex in the office can have skills to manage a company such as dad's?" She said.
The man beside her coughed loudly which made her feel a bit happy seeing him suffer.
'Since you want to be a spectator. I'll make such to give you the best live show.'
He froze hearing her words and he felt like this niece of his was getting more and more annoying as she grew up. He felt that he was seeing his brother all over again.
"Why are you so quite uncle? It true! I even have a report from many departments. About his so called 'skills'. Don't worry. Dads company will rise to the top and I'll make sure of it! You don't have to worry anymore." She said.
"Also Uncle your busy anyway. How come your here today? Surely your not here just to tell me this? Now I'm feeling a bit hurt. But like you said I'll always send a more trustable person than the man you said that 'was' good." She almost sounded sarcastic.
Mark felt his jaw clench in pain listening to her cunning words. But what could he say when all the dirt was laid in front of him?
"Ah, I see. Then I hope you choose someone you trust and believe it gets to better heights." He fixed his suit and walked away from the coffee table.
"You seem in a daze Vice-President Ian Quest." She said to the man beside her who looked at the whole scene with mischief.
"Katelyn, to think you didn't become an actress with those skills. Do you want to changes paths yet? You still have time as your 'young', haha." Ian teased.
"What about my offer, do you still want it?" She asked and pulled out a few papers and handed it to him.
Ian skimmed through them and started laughing out loud once again.
"You should find someone trustable, right? Why did you choose someone from the 12 families? Especially me. I'm not a kind guy even though we have a long history." His last words came out scandalous.
"My family is full of monsters. Wouldn't it be better to give it to someone who's even more of a monster?" She said.
Iam grinned wickedly at her, "Don't you add the condition of being my bride as well. I can maybe thing about it."
"Ian I now understand why you get dumped easily." She blinked and Ian genuinely looked curiously.
"It's because you can never stay with one woman for the rest of you life."
Ian laughed at her rude remark but didn't deny it. "Katelyn you know me so well. Don't worry it's a joke. There is no way I'm marrying someone as cunning as you. I'll be scared if I'll even make it alive with bones left."
"Thanks for the compliment." She smiled.

She snapped her eyes opened and rubbed them to ease the pain. Her eyes had been overworked to the max and not having proper rest damaged them even more.
She should have brought her glasses.
She sighed and turned to look at the bed Lavi was resting in and almost had a heart attack. She covered her mouth that was about to make a scream.
Since when did this man even come in?!
"Who are you?" She asked cautiously. She couldn't see his face as the room was dark. But for some reason he didn't seem like he would hurt them.
He turned towards the voice and noticed that the woman who was sleeping by the window was awake.
"Mr. Evertine. It me Adan Sanders. I came here to check on Sergeant. I was the one who picked up the phone remember?" Adan said.
"Ah. I see, but should you go home? But Mr.Sanders, I thought you had left awhile ago with Kris? Why are you here?" She questioned.
"I came here to look at Sergeant." Adan continued "I also want to talk to you Ms.Evertine."
Now that woke up her tired brain. She looked at him in question and then looked back to the bed where Lavi's sleeping in.
"Let's talk outside."
