Katelyn sat down in the bench and waited for the man to return. She was sort of anxious about what he would ask. But then again she thought why?
Ah, she should think positive. Otherwise the others around her will notice. Today or tonight was a gloomy as could be. Lavi got injured, she heard shocking news and almost had a heart attack hearing that her brother had gotten into harms way... Again!
What else could she expect now? A confession from a random stranger?
She glanced at the man who was talking on the phone. He had introduced himself as Lavi's superior, Major Adan Sanders.
A hardworking and smart major who raised up the ranks with both skill and power. And also the one who was call Major Scum by herself and Lavi.
'Well he doesn't seem like a bad guy though. Maybe Lavi was exaggerating.' She thought about how polite he was and changed her view of him.
Adan cut finished his call and noticed the studying gaze of Katelyn. He felt a strange feeling and since he was blunt he asked her about why she was looking at him.
"You see here, no offence but did you do something to make Lavi hate you? I mean she's always bad mouthing someone and for some reason..." she looked at his green eyes.
'The description fits you.'
Adan felt a bit hurt and didn't expect to be confronted like this and he felt that even if he lied he would be found out in seconds. But there was no way he would admit to it either, his pride wouldn't allow him.
"What do you want to talk about?" She tactfully changed the topic.
Adan felt relieved and sat down across her.
"I don't mean to pry into things to deeply. But since I have a few questions, I hope that you would honestly answer them." He paused and continued, "You can also refused if you feel that the question wasn't appropriate. That I will respect."
Katelyn nodded and serious listened to him. This man had a strong aura but compared to Nathan she felt a little at ease.
"You... your suffering from a medical condition right? Why are you not telling Nathan?"
Katelyn felt her body stiffened and was shocked by his words but also found out it was nothing new. It was expected that he would find out in a matter of time as she knew the Sanders family had deep connections.
"Is this you question?"
"Yes.." Adan gulped.
"How much do you know about my medical condition?"
Adan stayed quite, he only heard a few things from Kris and directly confronted her.
'My Mother and Fathers are the ones who know her condition the best. But I think Dr. Kingston also knows as he was working together with them. Lavi is another one that know but she wouldn't say a word to us about it and same with our parents.' Kris said.
'Adan I'm saying this as a member of the 12 families, don't pry to much. Even though Katelyn looks kind, don't forget that she's also not an easy persons to deal with. Especially since she is Howard's daughter.'
"Seems like you don't know the full thing yet. How reckless." Katelyn coldly said.
Adan kept his blank face and waited for her to say something else. He felt angry but he had to keep his cool. He even released his murderous aura but Katelyn didn't flinch
"Whatever. Major, it seems you want to pry more but I'll tell you this once you find out the truth you'll regret it." She got up and directly went back into Lavi room.
Adan silently sat and thought about a few things before walking away. The coldness didn't fade and he thought about her words carefully. What exactly would he regret? There was nothing that comes into his head.
Would he regret finding out? Or would he regret keeping it a secret?

The ten day trip had finally finished and Nathan came out of the plane dragging his suit case while Kai followed him talking on the phone.
They both walked towards the VIP lounge that the airport had prepared for them. Looks of awe and gasps of many were heard when they recognized the face.
"OMG! Is that Nathan Kingston?!"
"It's really him! Look at how handsome he is!!"
"Ahhh!! It's really him!!"
Ladies were swooning over him but he had his attention all focused onto his phone. With a sad expression he looked at the phone with sadness.
How come she didn't respond?!?
But to other his expression seemed like he was mad and glaring at the phone as if he wanted to destroy it.
Kai gulped and tried reading Nathan's expression and saw the faint sadness. He became speechless and finally figure out why his Boss was acting like that.
He must be missing, Ms.Evertine. Otherwise why would his Boss ever act like this?
"Boss, Ms.Evertine must be asleep right now. Shall we get ready to leave?" Kai asked.
Nathan snapped out of his gloomy mood and looked at the time. Kai was right she must be asleep right now, but how she didn't read his messages that he sent before?
Like the cold man he was, he patiently waited for his ride to come. He and Kai started talking about the latest cooperation they have successfully closed overseas.
