The got a seat on the second floor and order some light alcohol drinks to enjoy. Katelyn felt her phone buzz and pulled it out. She read the text and a soft smile fell on her lips.
Nathan: [Katelyn, I miss you. Do you miss me?]
She texted back immediately to him.
Katelyn: [Mn, I miss you too. What are you doing?]
Nathan smiled at her words and couldn't help but grinned like a crazy person. If Kai saw this he would probably faint from fright! It was just too damn scary!! Nathan quickly texted back.
[Paperwork. What about you?]
Katelyn paused for moment and hesitantly typed her reply.
[I'm out drinking with some friends...]
He wouldn't think badly of this right? Katelyn thought about how Nathan was like for the past days and confirmed the he wasn't an unreasonably person. But she still felt a like unsure.
Nathan felt his hands pause and looked a bit trouble by her honest reply. He wanted to tell her not to go without him but that was simply impossible at the moment.
He clenched his jaw and thought about how she at least told him. He soon texted back.
[Alright, then stay safe and go home early. Okay?]
Katelyn read the text and breathed out a sigh of relief seeing the message.
[I will. Good night Nathan.]
[Good night, sweet dream to you too.]
Katelyn smiled and out her phone back and then turned her attention to Lavi who looked like a lonely spirit beside her. She had an amused and annoyed look on her face.
Katelyn felt her face feel a bit hot and drank her cold drink to cool down a bit.
Lavi wasn't about to let Katelyn go any time soon though. Her curiously had sparked a bit when looking at Katelyn's emotions going up and down.
"Hmm~ what's this? I didn't know you were such an innocent soul. Do you care to share Katelyn?" Lavi teased.
"I-innocent? What are you taking about?" Katelyn asked.
Lavi laughed at her face and explained, "You honestly told your boyfriend what we were doing without think about it. Were at the bar Dear. He must be worried right now."
"But... Since your with this charming lady over here I grantee that you'll get home without a scratch. Tell Mr.Boyfriend that your in safe hands, ah." Lavi proudly grinned.
Katelyn blushed even more. Out of all her friend Katelyn had only dated for the first time of her life. She was one to this and always fell into the hands of her friends that loved teasing her.
"Ahh! Please stop!! Lavi I might have a red face by the end of the day!" She complained.
"You mean it could even get more redder than this. Seems like I need it try." Lavi seriously thought.
Katelyn helplessly smiled at Lavi and decided to switch to the more important topic they needed to discuss.
"So what did you want to talk about? You seem serious when you mentioned Tristan again. What did he say this time?" Katelyn places her arm on the bar table for support as she waited for Lavi to talk.
"In all honesty, he said he wanted to talk about Serena." She played with the drink in her hand before taking a sip, "Must be family related. I heard that something is going on around the hospitals but nothing is coming clear after a few times of looking around. He even looked desperate at the time so I really wondered what going on."
Katelyn fell into deep thought as she tapped her fingernails on the bar surface. She was beyond lost with this man.
He was so mysteriously annoying!!!
She felt a nerve pop out from anger, "Tristan is so ridiculously annoying. He was probably the most complicated man I've know to this day."
Lavi laughed at her angry words, "What about Aaron Knightly? Didn't you also have a hard time with him when he walked into the boutique?"
"Ohh! Don't get the started, translating a human like him is really impossible!! He's even more harder to understand than Tristan who can at least communicate!! That day was a complete disaster, it was only after that his sister came I that everything became better." She sighed helplessly remembering the memories.
"They were good advertisement. I heard that you are fully pack for the next three years. Seems tough." Lavi paused and stopped her words.
This was a topic she didn't want to bring up at all. Three years? The results show that one more year and Katelyn will permanently..

Lavi switched topics right away and carefully watched Katelyn's mood, "Wait does that mean your not coming to London with us?"
Katelyn laughed, "London? But that trip is still 2 months away! Why are you worrying?" Katelyn red face showed that she was a bit drunk but still quite sober. "Of course I'm coming. It's just a 2 week trip of relaxing and we all planed this so long ago. Don't worry I freed my schedule for that time."
"Ah! Shut we so forgot about the main topic!! Anyway, I'm gonna meet Tristan when he comes this week at your boutique. Don't forget it!! I need to punch some sense into that man or I'll go crazy from seeing these siblings brushing past each other like strangers!!"
Serena the truly clueless one never knew that Tristan had been back for almost 2 years. When he tired to meet her one day he was faced with such a heart breaking situation that it forever stayed engraved into hers and Carmel's minds.
Just remembering it made her snicker out loud for his dilemma.
