The black-haired man asked, Myung nodded and explained, "When transferring mana to another person's body, it can affect them greatly, if you're only on the maroon or white stage, those are the 2 clearest color and will most likely cleanse all of the accumulated mana throughout the years, What stage are you on?" he asked casually, no honorifics used in the conversation.
"Alpha." he answered briefly, Myung was shocked, [Why is louise and her family so powerful??? Like is their ignorance genetic or something?] Myung thought and shook his head, [no! not now we have to save master!] He instructed the Duke to place his hands on louise's chest, mana had to be implemented to the heart, "Blood is pumped from the heart and so is mana, so if you are in the alpha stage she'll feel warm but if you were a lower stage than Master, she'd freeze to death. She will feel hot but if you stop, then it'll probably put her in more danger than before." Myung explained.
[Then...How did this happen?] Ejekiel thought and focused on the situation, [why is louise always caught up on things like this? If only...] Ejekiel hated the thought of seeing his daughter suffer so much, especially when she's changed so much to be like him. He placed his hands on her chest and started to emit mana instead of an elemental power most mages use. [I Have to save her!]
He closed his eyes to focus on emitting mana towards her heart and an ominous light shone near her chest, She groaned in pain and started panting, drenched in sweat Louise shouted and yelled. It made Ejekiel flinch but he kept transferring his power, "AGHHH!!!" Louise was completely drenched in sweat and finally slept peacefully, "it'll be at least 4 hours until she wakes up," Myung reminded as he was the one who held onto Louise as she twisted and turned due to the heat. Ejekiel nodded sitting next to his daughter as she slept peacefully in broad daylight.
he remembered the last time this happened, it was when his wife gave birth that the baby was crying in pain, His wife, Cosette, in her final moments transferred her mana to Louise's heart. Ejekiel ran to her and held his wife's hand, but all Cosette could think about was her daughter's life, the tiny lifeform in her arms, it was breathing, it was so beautiful in her eyes that she smiled happily, as if the world would never end, "Cosette...Please stay with me..." Ejekiel cried, He held onto her so tightly be it emotionally or physically, "My sweet child...Live a happy life, don't hate your father...He loves you more than anything in this world..." She whispered in the newborn's ears, giving the child her first laughter. Until her delicate wrist fell and she was no more.

"Nngh..!" Louise groaned and finally sat up, [What's with me always falling asleep for days??? Like I get that in my past life I wished to sleep forever, but this! THIS IS TOO MUCH!!!] I flailed my left arm, until I hit something hard, I was in my bed, Daddy was still holding my right hand with a pained expression. [Does...he really care about me..?] I pondered until for a while until I understood, I understood why he was always next to me holding my hand. [He must've felt lonely...] I thought, [well then! I'll spend time with him like the good daughter I am!]

Ejekiel turned and finally sat up and saw Louise's smiling face, it looked a lot like her mother's he thought, Cosette had beautiful black silky hair and blue eyes that looked like the ocean, so deep and profound like they hid something. He smiled happily as louise wiggled her hand out of his. "Daddy! What do you think about going to the center?" I asked, I had an idea of course. I don't go anywhere without a plan. Cough cough, of course that's my motto from now on. teehee.
"...Only if you have time of course." I averted my gaze from his as he had a worried expression on his face and nodded, [this is the first time louise reaches out to me first and makes the first move. she's growing to be more mature.] He thought and stood up from the chair he sat on aside from louise's bed. "We'll got just this once but if anything happens, make sure to tell me." He said as he walked out of the room happily, "Huh. So he really did want to hang out with me." I sighed in relief, [so he didn't want to kill me ack! I can't believe this. Besides I feel this really warm feeling in my chest...What is this?]
"Master..." I heard a child's voice whisper, like delicate glass that could break if touched. Myung had a nice voice even though we've only seen each other 4-5 times since I keep having problems staying awake. YOU DAMNED GODS!!! STOP MESSING WITH ME! you must be having fun messing with my sleep schedule and the times I faint. [Although they did reveal how the first Emperor of Reandra came to be.] I nodded, "Master..?"
[I guess the guy was kinda possessive over his wife. Like why? it's not like she's gonna get snatched the moment she lives on earth, I mean c'mon she's pretty and kind and has a nice voice...Yeah she'll probably get snatched.] I agreed, "Master!" Myung grumbled, I flinched and turned to him. "What now Myung?"
"You know, you've gotten fully used to me being here, huh?" Myung spoke sarcastically, he sat in a criss-cross position as he floated in the air in his human form. "Yeah yeah! Who cares? You'll be going with me and Daddy to the town square."
"What? When did you ask for my consent?" His annoyed expression said it all, "Well if you want you can stay locked up in here instead. No biggie. You're not even rapunzel to begin with so stop acting like you're some lost princess trapped in a tower." I continued, "I told you, you could come if you wanted to."
"Okay okay..." He floated towards the big window in my room and gazed at the cheery people that danced in sang, He didn't know how people could be so happy when there was chaos all over the kingdom. Just why would they be joyful in a moment like this? A little girl was about to throw herself into the lion's den and nobody gave a damn about what she did unless it applied to them.

"Huh? Did you say something Myung?" I queried, he glanced at me and sighed with a worn out expression, "Hey! What's that look for?! I told you to stop acting like a princess! You dimwit!"
"WHO??!?! I AM NOT A PRINCESS!! I'M NOT ACTING LIKE ONE!!! IDIOT MASTER!!" He shouted, We fought with each other until it was time to head to the town square. I held my father's hand as we walked peacefully in disguise, "Louise, why did the rabbit have to come with us?" Father asked with a threatening glare, He looked like he'd snap Myung's neck in less than a milisecond. [if that's even possible...hehe...]
"I invited him daddy! he promised to protect daddy! So I brought him along so daddy won't get injured!" I chimed, ejekiel got cuteness overload and his heart was almost popped out of his chest. He coughed and covered his face, [Ah did I do something stupid again? oh...]
I walked silently next to daddy without another word, whilst Ejekiel suffered from a heart attack. [I really...really...REALLY wanna hug her-- NO-- I should just give her anything to earn her love and admiration. I heard that when girls dislike their fathers they leave them for another man (husband) I can't let that happen!] and yes, he thought all of that with a straight face. Which yet again, always give louise the wrong impression.
"Daddy...What's your favorite color?" I asked, I didn't want the awkwardness to persist any longer, He glanced at me and sighed in frustration, [He probably came here by force, then I probably shouldn't have asked him. Why did I even think he cared for me? i'm so stupid.] The small little girl had a frown on her delicate and chubby face, so pure and willing to love again, yet keeping to herself. Her heart was that of a child and her soul that of an adult.
