[I wish someone loved me...] I thought as my sad expression showed on my face, we walked around the center and looked around, but Ejekiel also noticed the gloomy and lifeless expression on her face. He looked at her with a stern expression, and thought of something to cheer her up, He waved his hand and communicated with a knight that suddenly brought Louise a pink ribbon to tie on her hair.
"Huh..?" I looked at the ribbon in confusion, what did he want me to do with it? I gasped and came to realization, is he telling me he's going to asphyxiate me with the ribbon?! AHH!! NO!! please not yet!
"Can I tie it on you?" Ejekiel asked louise with a glint in his eyes, she realized he really did mean the gift and that she'd been misunderstanding this whole time!
"Yes, Daddy!" I replied whilst Myung watched at a distance, [they forgot about me...] Myung sulked in the corner as a shadow approached the happy two. "Thanks Daddy!" I beamed, he nodded as he gave her a soft and small smile. Glad she was happy, but he could feel an eerie presence, he sent myung with her to the small shop in the corner where plush toys were sold. Louise looked at her father worriedly, creasing her eyebrows but let out a sigh, walking into the nice lady's store that looked half the age of her father. [She's way too young...]
"Where are they located?" Ejekiel asked seriously as he walked with his sword on the left side of his waist, [they dare interrupt the time I'm spending with my daughter?] He glowered and silently, yet annoyed walked towards the back alley and spotted a male in his 20s with long black coal hair and dark blue eyes. He walked groggily and his hair disheveled like a beggar would. Ejekiel watched as the man walked past him and didn't suspect him and kept walking forward, "I don't see anyone, Where are they?" Ejekiel questioned the knight behind him as he trembled and pointed exactly where he was supposed to be.
"I don't see him. You're either telling me I'm blind and they're invisible or you're useless." Ejekiel scowled as he finally realized something important. [Louise!] He ran rapidly trying to reach the capital and making it to the fountain from earlier, he stopped to look around for the man but he was found nowhere, he then darted towards the toy store and barged in. He walked into a fight between louise and the beggar, she turned to look at him and smiled, "H-Hi Daddy!" She beamed at him and while she was distracted by his entrance the beggar took advantage to this and shot a beam at louise throwing her back, pushing her into the wall until it broke. "Nngh!" She groaned in pain, and Ejekiel looked at her worriedly and darted towards her.
"Kekekekeke! Who thought the most powerful man in the empire would have a fatal weakness?" The beggar cackled as he grinned at Ejekiel. Ejekiel's eyes widened, biting his lips.
He held her head in his arms, her head as small as his palm, he caressed her loose strands of hair from her face, she smiled and then fainted. He handed the little girl that called her 'daddy' with a smile on her face to the tired shopkeeper who seemed to have problems of her own, as he walked towards the beggar silently, with a dangerous aura surrounding him.
"You dare to touch my youngest one's head? YOU shall pay dearly," Ejekiel said silently, his mind was thinking of ways to rip the beggar apart, he smiled as he unsheathed his sword and gave off a murderous aura that froze the beggar in place. His ripped up clothes were new, they were bought a few days back when he started planning all this. "W-w-w-w-wait!! I-I-I-I-I'll tell you! It- it -it was the white fox guild! They wanted both you and the lady dead! I-I-i-i-i-i was only doing my job-!" and with that, Ejekiel snarled at the man and slashed his arms off, "UAGHHHHHH!!!" The men yelled, both his arms were splurting with crimson blood, his arms both on the ground lifelessly. He cried and shouted, the shopkeeper watched in horror and trembled at the Duke's glare.
"We will recompense for the damages," He said walking over to the injured myung, carrying him in one hand and louise in the other, myung transformed back into a bunny and his foot was sprained and bruised.
"Can't you just stop getting hurt, Louise?" He sighed looking at her lovingly, placing his forehead on hers as she slept. [I'll make sure you never get hurt again, please forgive me child, for letting a strand of your hair be pulled out.] He winced as if he were the injured one.
