"my dear mother..." the orc who had a loud gruff voice now had a small tiny voice as he stared at the gathering storm clouds and the blue streaks appearing between the storm clouds. he knew what they were.
lightning wolves of the elemental wolf race.
the elemental wolf race was ranked as seventh of the strongest races in existence and the lightning wolves were the third powerful clan of them all. they had huge tempers and were sharing the skies with the sky whales and the sky mage city. the lightning wolves were not much to be feared when it was one of them however if a storm cloud was present at the very least there would be ten of them however if there were multiple storm clouds then that at least meant there was a lightning wolf lord present and there were not many willing to face an elemental wolf lord.
that's because all their base stats had at least an average of 5.7 stars and that was considered high in scale.
the sky was filled with storm clouds right now and the small drizzle turned into a rainstorm but the orcs were not disturbed by the rain but they feared the clouds. the three then got together and stood back to back in a triangle shape to cover their defences. they looked up to the sky warily but couldn't see anything because the clouds covered the actions of what was happening above them.
the orc with the sword on his back then pulled the sword of his back and inserted it into the ground with mighty strength.
the black aura surrounding the blade then expanded and covered a circular area around the group. it then dispersed to show a ritual that was glowing in black. the runes on the ritual were considered ancient and started beating like a heart. they translated into a single word if read right.
'destruction'
with the ritual growing slowly in size the sky started rumbling louder than before and the rain stopped pouring. the water accumulated on the ground from the rain started reversing its flow and formed waterspouts all around the city heading back to the sky. this scene looked exactly like one from a fairytale.

"tsk!...they think they can use an artefact to stop my clan!"
Paru looked at the rain that had flowed to the ground return in the form of waterspouts. the water wasn't doing anything to the wolves if anything it was acting as a warning from the orcs.
(we can reverse nature within this venue dimension and we can do much more)
if anything Paru wondered how the orcs had the power to create a venue dimension much less one that completely covered Arcane city that was two kilometres wide. such power would require at least 4.0 stars in power to accomplish and the peak power orcs could reach was 2.5 stars. it just didn't add up.
but now he understood how they did it. they had an artefact and a powerful one at that. a wide grin appeared on Paru's human face. he had transformed into his human form when the orcs revealed their artefact.
he had blue spiky hair that separated above his left eyebrow. small static flowed in his hair and his bright green eyes flashed. he looked like a teenager who survived puberty. he had a smooth square jawline and broad shoulders. he was carrying the unconscious Masha in his arms. she had fainted in fear when the orc was approaching her. she didn't have fond memories of the orcs and Paru knew.
"Lord Paru!"
a young lady in a blue dress that went below her knees and the same hair colour as Paru appeared from one of the blue streaks that was running around.
"The wolves are growing restless my lord. we both know how much the clan has grown fond of the Kerian family and the fact that one of them was hurt by lowly orcs has angered them all. permission to attack my lord."
she had a high pitched voice and spoke rapidly but that was normal for her.
"of course... I understand what is going through their heads...permission granted however we need not deploy all of us. I will personally kill them."
Paru had made his decision. Ye who get funny ideas, let us play.
the woman widened her eyes in shock then soon regained her composure.
"very well my lord, I will explain to the clan. also we have detected traces of a... chaos dimension nearby."
upon hearing the news of a chaos dimension. Paru sharply turned his gaze to the woman and asked her to repeat her report.
{a chaos dimension?!?!? but how...its strange enough that a group of orcs has a four star artifact but a chaos dimension at the same time!?!? that requires at least eight stars in power to create. who in f@#ks name would do this...}
however Paru put this thought to the back of his mind as he looked at the group of orcs on the ground. that's right...he wanted to punish them for touching a member of the Kerian family but mostly for touching Masha, his close friend.
Paru handed the unconscious Masha to one of the blue streaks that formed a human similar to the first lady with blue hair and a blue dress.
Paru slowly descended from the storm clouds with his bright green eyes glowing the sparks in his hair grew slowly in size an his spiky hair started to from lightning branches amongst his hair. his blue sweat shirt and green shorts started forming small sparks as he continued descending.
his figure could now be seen by the three orcs as he descended slowly and started gaining speed.
they immediately gulped once the figure could now be properly recognised.
it was Paru Tempest. one of the seven clan elders of the elemental wolves. he had been known as one of the 14 generals leading the beast races in the war and had recently been pronounced killed. the orcs were excluded from the beast races and were part of the monster races siding with the devils. so they did not know that his death was faked so he could work as an undercovere general leading troops while hidden from the other races.
he had ressurected to repay a bunch of fools with death.
