Chapter 15 - Is Studying In The Morning Better Than Studying At Night?

I'm assuming that this line is right on point. So, Let's make this sentence simpler. Is being a morning bird better than being a night owl? To be honest, We, Human beings have this habit of doing work in the day and sleeping at night, not for a few years, but THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

Changing this habit completely is a bad idea if you ask me. This will not only mess your body up but also your job goals. As far as I know, 95 percent of the legal jobs in this world happen in the day. So, probably you can't work at night. Now, the question arises, Should we wake up the in morning and study? Probably. Maybe you can study at 5 am or 6 am instead of 10 am or something.

Well, why? Your day will "increase". You'll have plenty of time to do many things like cleaning your room, spending time with your family, discovering new qualities about yourself, taking care of your health and so on.

If you are lazy like me you can use this tip-- Wake up at 5 in the morning and study till 7 am or 6 am. Then, just go to bed without worrying about anything else. You can wake up later in the day. One tactic we're using here is that first of all, if you woke up and completed your studies, you will think, "I am awake already, so what's the use of sleeping again? Let me just complete my all other tasks."

Then there is a person who is lazy to the core. You'll sleep after waking up and completing the task. By doing this, You'll feel so tired all day that your day might be ruined. So, you'll follow the same pattern stated above gradually.

Look, here, you don't need to change yourself. You're still a night owl. But where is it necessary that Night owls are bound to be studying late at night and sleeping all day? Is it necessary that morning birds will wake up early, I mean, always?

It's not possible to do so. You have to take a break from your schedule once. Don't pick the midday time. Early morning and late night are the two timings which are the most peaceful times for studying.

Honestly, there is not any specified time as to when you should exactly study. But I don't advise you to study when you want to. Not everyone is comfortable with this. I can't study when I want to. Why? Because obviously most of the time I don't feel like doing it. This will make my study progress all zeros. Since there is not any scientifically specified time to do work and study, You can fix one.

If you are to study at 8 pm, you have to do it. This is not only going to benefit you for good marks, but also give you a sense of commitment that you can perform a task once you say it.

Now, this may be a little harsh, but we need to face reality. If you can't get good marks, say, you got 90 out of 100, it's okay you need to study just a little more. you got 80. Still, alright. but then you got down to 70 or 60. Nowadays, this is not the percentage which you need to have. I bet if you ask some other people about this, they may even say 90 percent is nothing.

I won't say it's nothing. it depends on your condition. your improvements. Like so, you got 60 percent marks. The next time exam takes place, you got 70 percent. I'll say this is an improvement. Even if the whole world denies it. you went up to 10 ranks.

But this doesn't mean you're going to stop here. Keep improving. There would be a day when you would reach 100 percent. Even after that, don't stop. Keep going. You'll now say, "What's the need to study? I'm at my highest point right now."

No, you're not. If you stopped here, you'll lose the habit of studying. Of hard work. If this ever happened, you'll be back on the track of going down again, and climbing up would be even harder.

Even if you're a backbencher, you can do it. Always aim that I have to get 100 percent. If you fail in doing so, you'll at least reach 90 percent? 80 percent? somewhere you'll surely reach.

Whatever you do, your hard work shall always be at the fullest. Remember you're not only going to work hard, but also work smart.

Try not to get distracted when you are studying on your laptop or phone. Also, take breaks when you study. If you don't your mind gets saturated. Focus is better when you de-focus. But don't de-focus too much lol

There are some tips I'm going to give you so that you can wake up early in the morning-

First of all, Start with small steps. If you wake up at 9 am every day, start by waking up at 8:30. Then each day, reduce half an hour. Then in a few days, you'll reach the time that you actually want to wake up at.

Have a good night's sleep. Not only a day before the exam but also every day. This will keep your mind clear with a happy mood. Then you're ready to start another exciting study day!

I know some of you guys have this habit of listening to music while studying. I suggest you not do so. Especially the ones who play songs that have lyrics. I have tried this too, but when I play music while studying, I start singing the lyrics along with the singers and I don't even realize that half of my time was wasted.

And yes, you can listen to music while doing homework. I'll still suggest you listen to music that doesn't have lyrics. You can even try classical music. I'll suggest two beautiful pieces- Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig Van Beethoven and Turkish March "Rondo Alla Turca" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. If you are like me, you might start vibing to both of these pieces.

However, if you don't prefer this, then you can try lofi hip hop beats. It's also very calming to listen to.
