Dear diary,
It has been two years, two weeks since I last saw my father. I don't understand why he has been gone this long? I know that he is a big and fancy investor, I think my mama called him. But I don't know why he is taking this long? He never takes this long! Mama tells me every time, "now Betsy daddy is busy at work". I have never heard another excuse whenever I ask. She isn't telling me anything! It's annoying...
Wait, there is a call pulling up in front of our house! Could that be? No! Oh my, its daddy! And there is a lady beside him in the driver's seat. I am going to see what's happening, I will be right back to inform you!

As young Betsy skedaddled down the staircase, similar to a penguin trying to walk. She met her father in the midst of walking down the staircase.
"Hey, baby. How are you? My oh my you have gotten old!", he smiled brightly while eyeing her from top to bottom.
"Papa? Is that really you!"
His glassy eyes shifted their direction to the morbidly obese angry ex-wife leaning on the door frame.
"Judy? What happened to you!"
"What are you doing here, Patrick? I thought you left after you packed your shit on our daughter's 7th birthday?"
"I never filed for divorce, Judy"
"Who is that cunt in the front seat beside you, Pat?"
"That's my new wife, Hillary. I wanted Betsy to meet her stepmom, perhaps she can consider moving in with us?"
"No way in hell, Pat!-she walked over to the staircase closing off any possible way for Betsy to get down nor Patrick to get his daughter.
"Judy, you can't stop me from taking my daughter"
"Pat I will commit suicide if ya take my daughter!"
"Judy stop the nonsense, you're already killing yourself with the excessive eating, it wouldn't matter"
After hearing what Pat had said Judy sat down balling her eyes out on the staircase, her hands shaking, her breath heaving, her feet numb, her head hanging low while her eyes were glued to the small hole in the wall in front of her.
"Come now, Betsy darling.", her father signalized her to come to him with two fingers.
"No!"
"Judy, move you fatass out of the damn way, or I'll have to carry ya! I don't want to break my back"
Judy got up running to the kitchen while Betsy ran into her father's arms. Not knowing what she had gotten herself into.
