"Aha! I knew that he would be here!" I saw Calvin sitting underneath the tree and as always, his earphone is in his ears. I wonder what music he likes to listen.
I quietly walk towards him so that he won't hear us. Even though he have earphones and can't hear us because of it, I still do it to make sure.
"Finally! My arms is so tired carrying all of these!" Riri complained. She's holding lesser than us...
"Ssh! Be quiet, we don't want him to run away."
"He won't hear us! He have an earphone in his ears!" She yelled. "See?! He didn't heard me, and don't treat him like an animal."
Huh? But I didn't.
"What are you talking about? I didn't treat him like an animal. If I really treat him like that, maybe you will see me wanting to pet him, which I didn't."
"It's not that! It's—ugh! I'm tired of explaining. Just give these to him, I don't want to carry this snacks anymore."
Tired... but you didn't even start yet!
When I was about to pat his shoulder he talked to me. "What?" his voice have a tired tone, hmmm, more like sleepy.
"Oh! I just want to thank you again for helping me yesterday night! These are all my thank you gifts to you!" I yelled.
"What the—don't yell! I can clearly hear you." He said, looking at me with annoyance. Oops, he had an earphone on so I thought that maybe, he didn't heard me. Hehe!
"Sorry! I didn't know. I thought that I needed to raised my voice because maybe the music you're hearing is loud."
"I turn it off after seeing you three approaching me. That's why I know that you're patting my shoulder, again, and said what. Also, I don't want your 'gift'."
"But it's only a food, nothing else. Can't you just accept a simple gift from me? Please?"
"Yeah! Accept it! This is the first time I saw him bought so many food for a person. He didn't even gave me some of it and I'm his friend. Friends that supposed to share with each other but I'm ok!" Riri said, the food that she's carrying is now carried by Ari.
I don't know if Riri is helping me so that Cal will accept all of this or she's just complaining. Hmm, maybe both? I should buy her something or she'll definitely ignore me.
"What they said." Ari spoke without emotions.
Guys... I know you two want to help me but... you're not helping.
I glanced at Cal. I widen my eyes and pouted at him, my way of pleading silently.
He looked at me and sighed. "Fine, but I'm only choosing some of that."
Yes! It works! I knew it will work! My puppy face will always work!
"Ok! What do you want? You can choose anything. Did you have lunch yet? I recommend this! It can make you full AND it's delicious."
"I'm fine, I'll take this." He takes the one that I recommend and a chocolate.
"Ooh chocolate! Do you like it too? What type of chocolate do you prefer? I like dark chocolate."
"Stop talking for a second. You're making my head ache." Oops!
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. I just want to ask you what you like."
"...I'm off." Cal said, walking away.
"Wait! What about all of these! You should get more!"
"Give it to the girl. She's looking at me a little while ago like she wants what you have bought. Bye." He raises his hands like a still wave then drops it down and then continues to walk away.
"Yay! More food for me!" Riri said, taking the ones that she carried before that is in Ari's arms.
"No. We have to share it. It's not only for you. If Cal took all of these, maybe you didn't have anything right now."
"That's why his initial score goes up a lot."
"Initial score?"
"Yes, initial score. My first impression to him is eight out of ten, but now it's nine out of ten, one step away from perfection. If he's like friendly and kind, maybe I can give him a perfect ten."
"Oooh, what about me? What's my score?" I asked.

I shut my mouth and takes the half the snacks that is in Ari's arms.
"Wait, I just notice it. You have a nickname for Calvin huh?" Riri said, her eyes have a hint of teasing.
"Of course! Why? Is there a rule that making a nickname to a person is bad?"
"Nope! Buuutt, making someone a nickname means you're close with them. You definitely..."
"What? I can't hear you." she just whispered the last sentence.
"Now you're complaining that you can't hear me. I thought you don't like me talking in a loud voice?"
"I don't like you YELLING, because it's loud. Now, don't be cheeky and tell me what you said."
"Nu-uh!"

"Ok! Fine don't tell me. I don't need to know it anyway."
"You sure you don't want to know?" Riri teased.
Of course I want to know! I'm curious! I am the embodiment of curiosity. But, I will not let Riri know it!
"Ok, sure!"
"You two, stop it now. Let's get to class before it's late." Ari said, still carrying those snacks.
"Ok!" I don't want to have a bad record in the school now, do we?
