He passed to her a pair of round glasses tied up with a red ribbon. Their frames were as golden as Avrevm Bacvlvm, and their circular shape was carved with gothic engravings.
The colors of the crystals were a litmus amalgam of light pink and blue, pistachio green, and a touch of amethyst purple. "Aren't they awesome?" He asked.
"Well, they certainly wouldn't be my first choice to wear in public..."
"Don't be ridiculous. These are for translating the alphabet on your book and contracts, seeing that you have had trouble with that. Do you have your book with you?"
"Yeah. Lemme try."
She reached for her backpack and took out the crimson book of geometrical characters and a golden pentagram on the center. She untied the glasses and put them on, which looked comically big on her.
