I looked at the wolf.
He was definitely different from the other demon beasts that came out of the portal. He was faster and stronger.
"You mean he's a human who can transform into a wolf?" I asked the knight.
"What?" He asked as he kicked a four armed monkey.
"No, my lady, he is a wolf that can turn into human." He said before suddenly shouting. "Watch out!"
An arrow buzzed pass me.
It passed merely an inch from my face.
I looked at the four armed monkey with an arrow.
'I should really learn how to use my ability more for long range fight.'
I need to hurry and close the portal before something else comes out of it.
I looked at the wolf who was now pacing back and forth again. Its fine tail swinging as it moved. I need to make him stop following me.
I could use 'that', but it would take too much of my soul force.
'Whatever!'
I stared at the wolf and took an offensive stance. I have to finish this.
The wolf must have felt the difference between my resolve that it bared its fangs at me. I attacked straightforwardly and it also ran towards me.
One swing.
I swung my sword towards it. It turned its body mid-air. I could hear its mocking laughter.
I smirked.
I pulled out Vita's sheath and used it to hit the wolf right under its chin.
I turned around just in time to see the wolf hit the ground with a thud.
It tried to stand but started to cough blood. One of its fangs fell out.
I walked closer to it and it stared at me with no fear. I kicked it again and again. When it became unconscious, I flung it towards the other beasts who only gave it an uncaring glance.
With the wolf now unconscious, I continued towards the portal. The monsters are being suppressed now so I passed through quickly.
I arrived at the open portal.
Looking closely, it was actually big. It was like simeone punch a hole in a wall. It was black and there was some kind of black smoke coming out of it.
I covered my nose with my hand. The smell coming out of the portal is assaulting my nose. Sounds of grumbling and hard breathing could be heard from inside.
I tried to touch it but a hand stopped me.
"My lady." Haktor said looking at me. "You shouldn't touch it. You could get sucked in."
His voice was not worried or anything. He was merely warning me.
I nodded.
He released my hand and stared at the portal.
"We need to close this thing." I said also looking at the portal. The grumbling became louder.
"Have you ever closed a portal before general Fuujin?" I asked him.
"I have never, my lady." He looked at me with a smirk. "But, there's no harm in trying right?"
"True." I chuckled. "But how?"
"Well, should we try destroying it?" He suggested.
"To destroy a portal, you will need an attack strong enough to destroy it general." A voice from behind us spoke.
We looked behind us to see a smiling Sebastiene standing there with Marionne.
"Seb." I whispered. I am honestly glad to see him.
"Do you know know how to close a portal Sir Sebastiene?" Haktor asked politely.
"Of course." Sebastiene smiled. "One way a portal can be closed is by directly attack it with something strong enough to break the flow of soul force connecting it to the other side."
"That would be easy!" Haktor said excitedly. He then, faced Marionne. "I think a joined attack from us could close it. What do you think eh Marionne?"
"I will try my best General Haktor." Marionne replied, her face slightly black.
They both stood in front of the portal. They raised their hand and summoned their strongest attack.
Haktor summoned a tornado and Marionne summoned a fireball. It was indeed strong attacks. I could feel the amount of soul force behind the attacks.
"Good, but it still needs more." Sebastiene commented.
I looked at Sebastiene and raised my hand. I couldn't possibly summon water as it will go against the flames so I thought of something to enhance the flames.
That's it!
I smirked and summoned it. Marionnes fireball doubled in size making her look at me. I nodded to her.
They attacked the portal together making their attack combine in the middle. It now looked like a tornado on fire!
The attack went into the portal and a loud explosion from the inside could be heard followed by a strong gust of wind. Sebastiene stood in front of me, protecting me from the wind.
Cracking sounds could be heard after the wind stopped. Then the portal broke into tiny peices and disappeared.
