I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. Athy was still asleep so Uriel and I went down to have breakfast with our parents and the saintesses.
"Athy?" Mother asked the moment she saw us.
"Still asleep." Uriel answered, lying through her teeth.
Mother looked at her suspiciously.
"I think Athy is recharging from using her ability too much." I shrugged. I wanted her to turn her attention to me so Uriel won't be too pressured.
Uriel sighed and I winked at her.
"Saintesses, how was your night?" I asked them as I sat down.
Saintess Karen sat beside Uriel who was sitting to my right. Saintesses Jubie and Sachi were sitting on the other side.
"It was well, my lady. Thank you." Saintess Jubie replied making the other saintesses nod in agreement.
"I see.." I smiled. "That's good to hear."
"By the way, Saintess Karen, I was informed that you help in treating our wounded knights. You have our gratitude." Father smiled gratefully at the saintess.
"I am a healer, your grace, it is my responsibility." She answered humbly.
Her answer made me smile.
How generic!
We ate our breakfast and talk about light subjects. Mainly because we didn't want to worry mother. After we finished eating, I went to the training grounds to meet the knights.
Upon arriving at the training grounds, I noticed that the knights assigned to escort the guests were still not back.
Weird.
I went up to general Haktor who was standing in front with Marionne. They were both wearing black armors. All the knights were actually wearing their black armors.
I guess the armors are all done now.
"Are Klent and the others not back yet?" I asked him.
"Some of them have already returned my lady. Only Klent's group and the group that escorted the ladies are not yet back." He explained.
"I see." I nodded.
"My lady, I have something to report." Marionne looked at me. The black armor making her red hair redder.
"What is it?" I turned to her.
"That wolf you were looking for last night." She glanced at Haktor. "We couldn't find its body amongst the dead beasts."
"Huh?" I frowned. "Did anyone see it during clean up yesterday?"
They shook their heads.
"The only one who saw it was the knight who saw you fighting it." Marionne stated.
I frowned and looked around.
"Have you seen Seb?" I asked them.
"Sir Sebastiene was looking through the bodies since morning my lady. He must be cleaning up now." Marionne answered.
"I see." I nodded and turned towards the knights.
"Knights!" I shouted at the black armored men and women lined on the training ground. "Today we will check every corner of this estate to look for any signs of prints. If you find one, destroy it."
"Yes, young lady." The knights chorused.
I raised my hand. "Come, Agua."
A beautiful mermaid came out. Her body was made of water.
Agua is not a goddess but a spirit. She is a water spirit that could be summoned. She is really good at looking for things thus she is usually summoned to find lost things or hidden traps.
I learned about her from Astrid who was our only maid at that time. I saw her summon some little Agua to help her when she was on her way to take a bath. I asked her about it and she gladly explained. She was also the one who trained me on summoning Agua.
The knights were not as surprised at her appearance that when I called Parsua.
"Agua, please divide yourself into many and help the knights detect these prints." I asked her.
Agua nodded and her body slowly crumbled into little Aguas.
"Have the knights group themselves by five and one Agua will accompany each group." I instructed the generals.
The generals nodded and started barking instructions to the knights, Haktor mainly. Marionne was staring at the little Aguas, her face slightly blushing.
'Ahhh.. She must find the little Aguas cute.' I smiled at the thought.
When the knights have grouped themselves, one Agua floated to each group and attached themselves to a member.
Haktor and Marionne got an Agua each which Marionne held carefully.
When everything was settled we assigned areas for each group and started to search.
'Sis!' Uriel's excited voice came while I was checking behind a bush. 'Athy's awake!'
