"I heard Vera went to Capital?"
The gentle voice had inexplicable worries. The middle-aged lady was quite good-looking by nature, She had a gentle face and the frown on her face revealed her worry.
"Yes, Aunt Miah."
Aunt Miah shook her head.
"That child really went away so quietly, She should at least say something."
Loir sipped on the grape juice squeezed by Guard Theon, It was fresh and delicious.
"Tch, I want to teach that brat some manners if she comes back."
Another voice similar to Aunt Miah sounded, It was the voice of Aunt Miah's twin sister Aunt Riah's voice.
"Mind your manners first."
A male voice sound was not a heavy male voice but unique to males. It was Uncle Lute.
Uncle Lute, Aunt Raih, and Uncle Sugel are three unmarried old ones of this Vuwen Village.
"Mind your business, Lute."
Uncle Lute ignored the provocation and looked at Loir.
"Is it true that Vera wasn't your real sister?"
Loir glanced at the finished grape juice with slight regret and nodded.
"Yes, Uncle Lute."
"Guard Theon and Guard Jace can tell the whole matter."
Uncle Lute looked a bit disappointed. Vera had grown up in front of them, they raised her and the other kids of the village together. Though unmarried he felt he had four kids of himself. He was disappointed with Vera's behavior.
"Child, don't feel sad ok, your health is very poor. You can come live with Uncle Wade anytime you want. Your brother Seraph will also come back with Kael in a week so you won't be much lonely."
"Why will he stay with you Wade? Child, you should stay with me, You know your Aunt Sophia can cook your favorite dish."
"Don't don't! He is already weak and you all have spoilt him rotten, Let him stay with me and I can bring back his health."
"Hah, Riah you won't bring back his health but make him half-dead, So it is better that Loir stay with me."
"Where does that Logic come from, Me and Gen are most suitable to take care of Loir at the moment."
"Sister Miah, Kael is almost back shouldn't you be busy, Let's not make you worry, come child let's go with me."
"Wait wait, Sugel, where did you suddenly appear from?"
"Do me a favor children, I am living near here, and I am most suitable to take of Loir."
It was Uncle Cullen who spoke last. He looked like a youth with an extremely refreshing handsome face and gentle smile. But he was almost 34 and a lot older so he was called Uncle by the kids of the village.
Loir looked at the hustle and bustle in the living room. This scene is the one he was most familiar with ages ago...
The kind Uncle Cullen who taught him words and knowledge, the friendly Uncle Lute who taught him hunting, the gloomy Uncle Sugel who taught him traps, The strict Aunt Riah who taught him fighting and sword, The gentle Aunt Miah who always took care of him, The friends, Seraph and Kael who grew up with him and always protected the weak him. And the village Chief, the man obsessed with magic.
Guard Theon and Guard Jace looked at the villagers fighting for the right to keep Loir in their house and suddenly felt a weird sense of competition.
So Jace stepped forward.
"Ladies and Sirs, When I and Sir Theon are here, we can take care of Sir Loir perfectly well. How about you all rest your worries."
Uncle Sugel glanced at him.
"Do you even know how to take care of a human?"
Jace:...Sir it was really rude.
Aunt Miah worriedly said.
"Can you even cook, Son?"
Jace:...that...no...but.
Aunt Riah smirked.
"Can you sew torn clothes? Or make a fruit palate?"
Jace:...|||
Uncle Wade glared at the two Guards.
"Our Loir is petite and weak, You muscle-brain people dare say you will take care of our child?"
Jace:...Sorry, Sir.
Loir almost laughed. It was refreshing.
He was depressed these few days. His body is extremely weak by birth so he really needed extreme care.
At the end to smooth things out, Loir came forward.
"Aunts, Uncles, Guard Jace is right, you all have your worries and things to do in your daily routine."
The villagers were forced to give up and went back to their homes but in the evening they sent many things, like Aunt Miah sent 3 cooked dishes, Uncle Wade sent fruits, Aunt Riah sent goat milk, Aunt Sophia sent deserts, Uncle Cullen sent cooked fish while Uncle Sugel sent candies.
Looking at the free food, Jace mumbled.
"What a loot."
Theon was also stunned by the love these villagers gave to Loir.
On the other hand, Loir said.
"The dinner is already sent, Let's eat."
Theon and Jace glanced at each other and then set up the dinner table, It's great that they don't need to cook dinner.
After dinner, The three sat in the living room for digestion.
Theon was curious.
"Sir Loir, Why are Villagers living here and don't seem to like going to other cities?"
Loir glanced at Theon. Quite great observations.
"Vuwen Kingdom, This village has the descendants of that Kingdom."
Theon and Jace were surprised.
Jace confirmed.
"Sir Loir, Is it that the Legendary Kingdom that we know? It actually exists?"
In a soft voice, Loir said.
"Existed."
Jace was surprised beyond sense. The Vuwen Kingdom was a Legendary Kingdom that was ruled by a God and all races lived in that kingdom without violence.
It is said that in that Kingdom Vampires married Elves, Devils and Angels were friends for life, and Fallen Angels and Humans could even fall in love and have children. It was a fantasy story heard by children while growing up but...for that kingdom to exist.
"So, Uncle Wade and others are descendants of Vuwen Kingdom?"
Loir shook his head.
"Not like that, they are not pure blood related to that Kingdom."
"But instead they have a quarter of their blood related to that kingdom since it is almost 2 million years have passed since that Kingdom was destroyed."
Theon who was silent for a while raised a question.
"Sir Loir, Are you also related?"
Loir glanced at Theon.
"From my mother's side."
Jace and Theon were surprised. So they talked with a legendary descendant?
It was already time to sleep so Loir stood up and went to sleep.
Jace had it hard to swallow.
"Sir Theon, are we way too lucky?"
Theon sighed.
"Maybe, Forget it, Let's go and sleep."
The two slept a restless night.
Uncle Cullen came to the door the next morning with breakfast.
"Hello boys, Had a good rest?"
Theon and Jace who had a bit of trouble sleeping smiled helplessly while helping with breakfast.
Uncle Cullen felt that it was awkward to remain this silent so he spoke up.
"Don't worry about what everyone said yesterday. Loir that child's parents died when he was just 2 years old and didn't know anything. So villagers have raised him and his sister by their own hands and care a lot hence."
Theon waved his hand.
"No Sir Cullen, We didn't mind at all."
Jace also nodded.
"Yes Sir, We were just surprised by the history of the Village."
Uncle Cullen paused and then laughed.
"So that child told you. It is nothing much, all of it was passed, Even though we don't know about our ancestors much."
Jace and Theon nodded.
After a while, Loir also came down lazily and greeted Uncle Cullen.
While having breakfast Uncle Cullen introduced everyone to many things around the Village and told many relationships.
Jace asked quietly.
"Sir, Why Lady Riah, Sir Lute, and Sir Sugel didn't marry until now?"
Uncle Cullen almost choked but he awkwardly explained.
"Your Sir Lute, wanted to find a soulmate so he is still single while your Lady Riah wanted to find a better life than Lute so she is still Single while that boy Sugel? He is...well gay."
Theon and Jace:..
Jace whispered under his breath.
"Definitely descendants of Legendary Kingdom."
Cullen heard his whisper and shook his head while laughing, It is not undeniable that the people of this village are strange and weird in their desires.
Theon learned more about the village from Uncle Cullen while Jace went Hunting with Uncle Wade.
Uncle Wade is Seraph's father, While Uncle Gen and Aunt Miah are Kael's parents.
The two are Loir's only friends in this village.
This was what Jace found out tomorrow.
"Sir Loir, Why is the birth rate of Vuwen Village so low?"
Only 4 children for 18 years...isn't this...way too low?
Loir closed the book in his hand.
"Maybe because we are descendants of God?"
Jace:...
"Sir Loir, now you are making fun of me."
Loir glanced at him and then glanced at Uncle Cullen.
"Don't believe if you don't want to."
