Chereads / A loner's Crazy Life / Chapter 7 - 7.

Chapter 7 - 7.

The purple light was an extremely beautiful purple-colored butterfly that flapped its wings and flew into the room, it gently came to the bedside and saw the beautiful boy.

A strange fog started to surround the room and the butterfly kept flapping its wings.

It looked like a charming beast who would seduce its prey and eat it later.

The fog kept expanding and expanding and reached near the bed and almost touched the skin of Loir.

The butterfly excitedly looked at the prey so near it and its wings flapped more rapidly but before it could even imagine the dinner's taste, the dinner woke up.

Sleeping Loir is a beauty but the Loir who just woke up even made the butterfly blush.

Loir's beauty is a rare combination of strength and fragility, with a mix of features that make them both striking and mysterious. Whether through their sparkling golden eyes or their flowing lavender hair, there is something about Loir that captures the imagination and leaves a lasting impression.

However, this weak-looking young 'dinner' of the butterfly ignored the butterfly and took the blanket on him more carefully and slept.

It was as if the butterfly didn't make him surprised or scared but it was like a usual routine.

Butterfly Demon: Are we acquainted? You ignored me so familiarly!

As if sulking and wanting to prove its authority the butterfly demon once again ordered the fog to go near Loir.

The fog had yet to approach the bed when the cold voice of Loir sounded.

"If you disturb me this time, I will roast you."

The deep maliciousness in the voice and the temperature drop actually scared the poor little butterfly demon.

The 'Dinner' it chose wanted to eat itself in dinner!

Aggrieved and sulky, the butterfly demon left for the night and decided to let this boy live in this village forever!

Loir sensed the fog disappearing and changed his position to sleep on his right side and slept comfortably.

The next morning, the door of the room was knocked hard and Sugel's voice sounded.

"Loir? Little Loir? Come out it is almost noon."

Loir slowly opened his eyes, the morning sun peeking through the curtains and casting a warm glow across his face. His long, lavender hair was a tangled mess, but even in its disheveled state, it still held a certain ethereal beauty. As he sat up, his golden eyes sparkled with life, and he ran a hand through his hair, trying to smooth it out.

Despite the sickness that had left him looking frail and weak, Loir's porcelain skin still glowed with an otherworldly radiance.

He took a deep breath, and the cool morning air filled his lungs, making him shiver. His cold expression softened slightly, and for a moment, he looked almost vulnerable.

As he stood up and stretched, Loir's slim figure seemed to almost float across the room, his movements graceful and fluid. The morning light highlighted the delicate curves of his face and the subtle contours of his body, making him look like a work of art.

For a moment, Loir paused, gazing out of the window at the world outside. The beauty of the morning seemed to have seeped into his very being, and he looked more alive than ever before. It was a fleeting moment, but one that would stay with anyone lucky enough to witness it, forever.

After a moment in trance, Loir came out of the room.

"Oh, Sir Loir, Morning!"

Jace's lively voice sounded right after Loir step down the stairs, there were voices in the kitchen.

"Alright, Sir Sugel, I prepared the eggs you can make the porridge."

"No problem, you take these on the table by the way."

"Alright."

It was Guard Theon and Sugel who were cooking breakfast.

At the breakfast table, there was a short moment to contemplate.

Loir was sipping his tea silently.

While Jace stared at his burnt toast.

"Hey, Sir Theon, can you teach me how to cook?"

Theon glanced at the kid.

"That's like asking a fish to climb a tree."

Sugel sighed at the side.

"Now, now, Theon. Let's give him a chance."

Jace was enthusiastic.

"Yeah, I'm sure I can learn! And I promise not to blow up the kitchen this time."

Loir raised an eyebrow and continued to sip tea.

Sugel chuckled softly.

"Well, it's not just about throwing things into a pot and hoping it tastes good, Jace. There's a science to it."

Jace raised an eyebrow.

"Science? I thought it was just a matter of following a recipe and some hands-on experience."

Theon shook his head.

"It's not that simple, brat. There are nuances to cooking that can only be learned through practice and experience."

Jace pouted.

"Then I only need some practice and experience right? Ok, I will do it now!"

As he said he jumped to the kitchen.

Theon chuckled.

"Good luck with that, Jace. Just be sure to stay away from anything that can explode."

Sugel nodded in agreement, "And if you need any help, just let me know. I'm happy to offer my expertise."

Loir watched as Jace rushed back into the kitchen, eager to start his culinary journey. A scene flashed through his eyes.

The middle-aged man in the memory had an indifferent expression, he was sitting beside the graveyard with wines bottle all around.

He was haggard and had no ambition in his eyes just coldness. That face that was only a few years older than the current Jace made Loir feel the deep coldness.

He shivered unconsciously and woke up from his trance and again took a sip of his tea.

Sugel saw his face was pale and asked out of concern.

"Little one, Are you really fine? Your condition doesn't look better."

Loir glanced at Sugel but shook his head in denial.

"I am fine, just felt a little cold."

Guard Theon immediately grabbed a warm blanket and gently put in on Loir's shoulder.

After a momentary pause, Loir looked up at Theon and nodded.

"Thanks."

Theon shook his head and said it was his duty and went to pack the things so that they can go on their journey.

After half an hour, Theon entered the house with an angry expression.

Jace who was still cutting vegetables was stunned and asked.

"Who made captain angry?!"

Sugel and Loir looked at his side. Theon gritted his teeth and said harshly.

"Some thieves damaged the wheels of the carriage, it is impossible to travel today, I will try to repair it for now and see if we can go tomorrow."

Saying so he went to his room to get his tools.

Sugel and Jace were stunned while Loir had an indifferent expression as if it was bound to happen.
