Chapter 1 - Alive Again

Han Zhuoli stared dazedly at both familiar and unfamiliar woman in front of him who was shouting at him like a shrew without any bearings of a high ranking person.

She had long wavy black hair reaching her waist, a small face with a pointed chin, crooked nose, and thin lips. She was wearing a short black dress reaching her mid-thigh paired with high heels. She had alluring features but sadly it couldn't be seen because of her distorted and fierce expression.

"Are you even listening to me bastard?" The woman scowled angrily and started cursing at him.

Han Zhuoli couldn't care less what the woman was screaming about. His brain was about to crash not being able to process what had just happened to him.

Han Zhouli was fine being dead, he was very happy when he thought he was finally going to die in peace only to find himself transmigrated in a novel.

He didn't even like that shit, he had only read about ten or so pages before throwing it in the trash bin. He had already realized the situation he was in.

Han Zhuoli took a vow in his heart to sock whomever has sent him there if he ever gets the fortune to return to his origin world.

"You're only fourteen years old and you're already like this. You will only bring shame to our family, you should learn from your brothers." Yu Yan's face was flushed after shouting for so long. She was getting angrier looking at the indifferent and dazed teenager in front of her.

His hazel brown hair fading into blonde fell down just above his eyes complementing his peach blossom eyes and jade-like skin. His right ear was covered with studs and a tiny tattoo of the sword just beneath it, he was wearing a skull t-shirt on his lean yet muscular body, loose pants with chains and short black boots.

Han Zhuoli didn't bother staying there listening to the woman insulting him, he completely ignored her and turned around leaving the furious woman alone. He went to his room following the memory of the body while observing the villa. He soon stopped at the blue door at the back near the garden and entered.

The room was big and spacious in lavender blue giving a sense of peace. There was a king-size bed in the middle of the room and study-desk beside it along with a cabinet and walk-in closet which was placed at the corner of the room.

There were different musical instruments like guitar and violin neatly settled on furniture specifically made for them making it obvious that the original owner of the body was quite into music. There were video games and books sprawled out on the ground and bedside table.

He went to the bathroom to take shower after taking out pajamas from the closet. He took a quick shower and looked at the mirror finally releasing a sigh of relief. Though he looked rebellious, at least he had the same face as his previous life. He went straight to the bed and lied down looking at the ceiling above him.

Yu Yan, the woman who was insulting and shouting at him just a moment ago wasn't anything unusual, she needn't any reason to scold him but this time the original owner of the body had punched her older son in anger.

She has two sons Yu Yunqi and Yu Xingyun. Although she may be the mistress of the Han family, the body's father Han Ying never acknowledged her and refused to give her and her children the surname "Han."

Han Ying had only loved Hui Yin, the body's biological mother so Yu Yan had always been jealous of her. After Hui Yin died Yu Yan thought Han Ying would at least pay a little attention to her but he didn't. He only became colder toward everyone.

Han family had a long history and strong background. On the surface, the Han family was engaged in industries and companies but on the inside, they had a strong connection with the underworld and mafia. Han Ying doesn't stay often in the villa because of his own gang matter and his entertainment company.

Yu Yan couldn't take it when she thought Han Zhuoli would be the heir of the Han family. She was filled with hatred toward the mother and son, she started bullying and punishing Han Zhuoli at every chance she got after Hui Yin died of illness.

Han Zhuoli was arrogant and proud but he truly loved his mother so he refused to come in contact with Han Ying because of Yu Yan. Han Ying had always been aloof and cold towards everyone. He didn't even know that his own son has been facing such hardships in his own home.

Han Zhuoli closed his eyes hugging the pillow close to his body not thinking about these trivial matters anymore. Soon a soft and even breathing of the teenager was the only sound in the quiet room

Han Ying went to the gym for a quick glance before going out to work. He looked at the teenager who was doing push-ups alone. He sighed running his fingers through his hair. He was at his wit's end not knowing how to interact with his cold son, he didn't know what would make his son forgive him. He tried to resist marrying Yu Yan as he only loved one woman and had no space for another one in his heart but he was pressured by Han Family and Yu family. He was still building his empire at that time so he couldn't go against them but now he regretted it.

Han Ying stared at the sweaty Han Zhuoli who gave him a slight nod and turned around leaving the gym from the door at the back after grabbing his water bottle.

Han Ying stood frozen with wide eyes before his whole demeanor changed. He still had his cold and expressionless face but if someone looked closely they would see that his expression was a little softer than usual.

Han Zhuoli never interacted with others in the family and he was always quiet so him giving even a slight nod was a big deal to Han Ying. Han Ying left the villa in a very happy mood.

The butler looked at the background blooming with flowers before shifting his eyes to his ever cold and expressionless master who got in his car leaving only the butler who rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

Han Zhuoli took a quick shower and changed into casual clothes. He went downstairs to have breakfast as he was very hungry after doing his routine exercise. He was very thankful that the original owner had always maintained his body.

"Young master Han" The butler smiled and pulled out a chair for him. Han Zhuoli nodded his head in thanks and sat down. He ignored the two brothers and started eating his breakfast. It was very convenient for him to act like the original Han Zhuoli, he didn't want to talk with anyone in the family.

There was a moment of silence among the 'brothers' but it was soon ruined by Yu Yunqi

"How was it.? Did you learned your lesson yesterday" Yu Yunqi smiled smugly.

Han Zhuoli ignored him and focused on his breakfast. Of course, he knew what he was referring to but when he saw the bruised and black eye on Yu Yunqi's handsome face, he gave a thumbs up to the original owner in his heart.

Yu Yunqi got irritated for being ignored as always and snapped "How dare you ignore me!"

Han Zhuoli finally stopped eating and looked up. Yu Xingyun peeked at him expecting to see him angry but was surprised to see that Han Zhuoli had a plain expression.

Yu Yunqi waited for him to answer but Han Zhuoli got up and left, he had already finished his breakfast. Yu Yunqi was so furious that he left his half-eaten breakfast and went to school with an angry look

Yu Xingyun stared at his brother's back who left without even glancing at him. He didn't bother to eat anymore and followed him hurriedly slinging his bag on his shoulder after whispering something to the butler who nodded in return.

Han Zhuoli didn't have to go to school mainly because he was home-schooled. He didn't care about that anyway, he just wanted to spend his life lazily doing whatever he wanted in this life so he had no problem being homeschooled.

Han Zhuoli played video games for sometime before a middle-aged man entered his room. He put down the game knowing that the teacher was there. He just spent an hour with the teacher before going back to the gym.

The 'Han Zhuoli' of the novel didn't like to read and there was no one to guide him. He was almost free to make any decisions on his own as long as he didn't disturb his stepmother and her sons.

After spending the day in the gym he took a quick shower to soothe his tired muscles. He wanted to get his physique back to what it used to be so he decided to devote his time fully in the gym. He was getting bored so he took the guitar and sat on the bed.

He gently plucked the strings and produced a piece of slow melodic music, he hummed along with the music deeply immersed in his thoughts. Soft black hair, aquiline nose, soft pink lips hung up in a cheerful smile, he was reminded of the same face which was sure to bring him a nightmare in a couple of days. If he could he really wanted to change his past but alas....

A knock on his door brought him out of his melancholic thoughts as his hands stopped.

"It's open."

The butler came in and looked at the teenager on the bed surrounded by a melancholic atmosphere with a little sadness. The butler had watched him from his birth and he had always felt his heartache for this lonely child. He really hoped that the child would break down his walls and let someone in.

"Young master Han, Can you please bring the third young master home today instead of me?" Asked the butler looking at Han Zhuoli with a pleading look.

Han Zhuoli didn't see the reason to reject him after all he was quite bored.

"Alright!" Han Zhuoli stretched his waist lazily and placed the guitar in its original place.

The butler smiled brightly and thanked him happily.

Han Zhuoli looked at the butler weirdly who looked overdosed from happiness before shrugging and going out of the villa.

"Hey! wimp. Looks like no one is going to come today to take you home so let's go home together" A boy in a messy school uniform shouted at Yu Xingyun while his friends snickered behind him.

Yu Xingyun tightened his hold on his bag strap and bit his lip trying to ignore them.

The boy extended his arms toward him with his bag motioning him to carry it.

"M-My b-b-brother is coming to get me" Yu Xingyun stammered out with trembling lips.

Another boy beside the bully got agitated after listening to him.

They had already seen Yu Yunqi so they thought that they wouldn't be in trouble after all they had bullied him in front of his brother too but his brother didn't do anything to them.

"Have you grown your guts today? You dare to disobey us" The boy rushed toward him trying to push him back.

Yu Xingyun flinched and stood frozen in shock at how things escalated so quickly but before the boy could touch him he was pulled back by his collar. He looked at the tall back before him and realized who it was. The group of kids also moved back after seeing the person who stood before Yu Xingyun.

" BROTHER !!"

Yu Xingyun blurted out in shock.

The other kids were also dumbfounded staring at Han Zhuoli who was obviously taller than them in his standard gothic clothes not missing his studs, he was frowning at the boy who almost pushed Yu Xingyun.

The kids started shivering in fright looking at the gangster-like teenager. They didn't know that Yu Xingyun had another brother so they could only blame themselves for being clueless.

"Are you alright ?" Han Zhuoli directed his question at his little brother.

Yu Xingyun finally snapped out of his stupor and nodded frantically with bright eyes.

"Did they touch you ?" Han Zhuoli narrowed his eyes at the bunch of kids before him in a threatening manner.

Before Yu Xingyun could answer him the boy who ordered him to carry his bag frantically said, "Brother! My name is Luo jin. We study in the same class and we are very good friends, how can we bully him?" Luo jin panicked and took a quick glance at Yu Xingyun.

Han Zhuoli also looked at Yu Xingyun for confirmation who nodded his head not minding his answer.

Yu Xingyun had never heard this 'brother' of his talk before, he was always quiet and had an aura around him that always reflected ''Don't come close to me.''

Yu Xingyun had always wanted to feel the warmth of having someone by his side. His own mother didn't care about him let alone his brother who had always looked down upon him. He never thought that there would be a day where he would be helped by Han Zhuoli.

Han Zhuoli didn't waste any time and walked away after hearing what he wanted. Yu Xingyun quickly waved at Luo Jin and followed Han Zhuoli. Yu Xingyun was grinning the whole way. They quickly reached their villa after all the school was only ten minutes away.

"Can I call you Brother?" Yu Xingyun asked Han Zhuoli nervously waiting for his answer when he saw that Han Zhuoli was going to enter the villa without saying anything to him as if he wasn't the one who was worried about Yu Xingyun a minute ago.

Han Zhuoli remembered a paragraph he had read in the novel and felt that he had been duped by the old butler and the bunny beside him. Yu Xingyun had asked his good and only friend Luo Jin to act like he was bullying him at the time his brother comes but he had only used this trick with Yu Yunqi. He didn't think that he would be tricked too.

"Brother" Yu Xingyun called hesitantly and to his surprise, Han Zhuoli nodded his head in return and the corners of lips slightly uplifted which left Yu Xingyun dazed for a moment before a wide grin covered his whole face. Han Zhuoli was also affected by Yu Xingyun and felt a little burst of happiness for the first time after being transmigrated.

''I guess being alive again isn't that bad '' Han Zhuoli entered the villa with Yu Xingyun hopping around him.
