"Are you sure that it won't collapse?" Yan Zheming had a complicated expression. He wasn't sure whether it was good or not that someone dared to climb up that rusty pipe.
"Of course. You can count on me" Chen Yang patted his chest in absolute confidence. He had large experience on such things. It was something that he was very good at and he knew the interior the best among them.
"Thanks bro. You are very worthy of your reputation." Xu Feiqun patted his shoulder with a grin. It wasn't surprising to him as he knew what type of people surrounded Li abroad. They were all reckless but strong people and even among them this one was very strange.
Even though they weren't able to agree on a topic together for the last three years resulting in him blackmailing the other as the last resort but still he knew that he was a strong person who was very loyal and not afraid of struggles in other words a lunatic who is very strong.
"You want to taste my fist, huh?" Chen Yang could even imagine what provoking thoughts could be going through that stupid brain right now. He wanted nothing more than to get away from him even if he had to be close to zombies. He was even more annoying than zombies.
He should have known that they were not compatible at all, It has always been like that.
Xu Feiqun awkwardly took off his hands from his shoulder and took a step back with a sour look on his face.
"Be careful" Qi Cheng worriedly looked at the brave boy. He was very uneasy to let him to go there alone. He was almost certain that there would be too many zombies inside the building.
"The key to the back door is in the kitchen drawer or else it must be hung beside the window. You have to open the back door immediately after u get it, okay!" Yan Zheming seriously looked at him straight in the eyes. He took in a deep breath and said out the ugly words "If you somehow get stuck in there then no one will dare to save you. So you have to do it in any way."
Chen Yang tightened his grip and replied lightly without any hesitation "I know."
Xu Feiqun stared at the back that was gradually distancing in a very complicated mood. Actually, he was not very interested in that guy after suddenly being told that they was going to be accompanied by him overseas and most of all he wasn't familiar with him.
They were linked by a single person that kept them from being repulsive with each other and they formed a very simple bond which he thought was very filmsy but now looking at the situation it didn't seem so. He didn't know when that guy had became someone who left a imprint on his life and surprisingly he didn't want to erase it.
"Come on, let's complete our part." Yan Zheming pulled the boy who was in a trance. He wanted to complete their parts flawlessly so that they could survive and their friend who alone went to such a dangerous task could also survive.
"So how are we going to do it?" Xu Feiqun buried the complicated emotions that were useless for now and enthusiastically asked for opinion from both of them who were much smarter than him.
"Even before that, we need to have a safe spot that can let us get in there without much danger." Qi Cheng looked around in search of such a spot. How could they get in there without having to come in contact with zombies.
"You have got a point." Yan Zheming frowned thoughtfully. He roamed his eyes searching for a place that could fulfill their requirements. The canteen was a large building that was wide open in front with only a oak-paneled door as a entrance while the back was surrounded by trees.
"But there is no such place here." Xu Feiqun rubbed his hair in frustration as he observed the empty and spacious place.
"No. There is."
Qi Cheng and Yan Zheming exchanged knowing glances toward each other conforming that they both had the same idea. It was risky but nothing could be more risky than a zombie apocalypse.
"There is?" Xu Feiqun was confused listening to them. Why couldn't he see such a place when they were sharing the same view. He gave up on figuring out himself and ask the two who were on the same wavelength.
"You see the trees over there, we have to climb that and we will be easily able to cross the wall and go through the back door but..." Yan Zheming sighed.
"If not careful we may break our legs or get hurt after jumping from that high which will undoubtedly become a major burden in this environment" Qi Cheng continued and said the thing that was troubling them from the implementation of such loss making actions. With nothing but this as a solution, they had to do it anyway.
"Argh, let's do this. There is no other way." Xu Feiqun supported the risky idea as there was no other way.
"Yeah. We have no other choice." Qi Cheng sighed tiredly. He thought that it would be good enough to be able to enter the canteen in such situation.
Yan Zheming nodded and took the lead. He silently crept up the tree making minimum sound as possible. Others followed behind him and climbed up another tree one after another.
They peered inside the backyard and there were not many zombies, only two but that alone was too much for them even if they had an advantage in number. They were relieved that the backdoor was locked. Now all they had to do was to jump down from the tree and deal with the zombies as soon as possible.
Xu Feiqun silently slid down from the branch to the top of the wall and lifted his chin to the space beside him telling others to follow him. He took a deep breath and gestured three with his fingers.
Others followed his example and landed on top of the wall without making any sound.
Xu feiqun folded down his finger and gestured two nervously. He glanced at the other two who were waiting for his last signal with focused gaze. His hands trembled in extreme nervousness as he finally gestured one with his finger.
