While all of this was happening, on the other side of the field, a group of Dodo was gathering…
The leader of the group is a 1.9 meters tall Dodo with red and orange feathers, with an orange beak and yellow eyes that shined with passion and confidence while he talked to his companions.
"Brothers, White is here and he is embarrassing us all in front of the new member of our family, this is unacceptable!"
The other dodos nodded in approval.
"It's time for us to unite and fight him together, we must show him that we aren't so easy to bully and that he isn't invincible!"
The other dodos nodded in approval again.
"Let's go to teach him a lesson, brothers!
Attack him as if he is a dragon!"
Hearing these words, the group of around twenty-five dodos roared enraged.
With an army of undead in the front, the group of dodos charged fearlessly against the evil White.
The leader, called Truefyre, created an aura of heat around the group to protect them from the cold.
When White noticed the army of undead and dodos he smirked while dismissing the ice shard-tornado, and firing every shard at the same time against the enemies, much to his surprise, a red aura of heat compared and weakened the shards so that they ended up without killing anyone.
The poor undeads weren't as lucky.
Around a fifth of the army completely died on the spot, while the rest ended up injured.
A green aura erupted from one of the dodos in the rear of the group, a white-feathered dodo with golden eyes, that was hidden behind the other dodos, healed all the injuries caused by White.
Seeing this result, White created a fog all around himself and ran away while summoning some ice spikes on the ground, to slow the enemies, and shouting at them.
"See you next time!"
When the group arrived at the position where he was, they found some traces that he left while fleeing.
The group ran after the enemy, after chasing the enemy for around ten minutes, the traces disappeared.
They looked around themselves, but there was nothing useful around them.
At that moment, however, they heard a sound, as if something was cracking, something like… Ice.
They were over a lake…
"Enemy ambush! Retreat!"
Too late…
The ice under them was already too thin, and before they could even move, half of them were already within the cold water, when Truefyre fell, the aura of heat around them disappeared too.
The undead army was completely hopeless.
A rain of ice spear fell from the sky, and one after another, the dodos and undead died.
"Hahaha! Did you really think to defeat me, with only twenty dodos?! How funny!"
Truefyre gathered the mana around him and casted a desperate spell with all of his might.
A fire pillar erupted from the sky, however, the pillar encountered too much cold, and lost his effectiveness even before touching White.
" Hahaha! A beautiful show! Now, die!"
He shouted while focusing all his ice spears against the red dodo.
Unfortunately for him, the last attack casted by Truefyre was indeed only for show, and mark that position to the five dodos that were following the group from behind!
Those five dodos spotted the fire pillar, they looked at each other before nodding and return looking toward the fire pillar as they started casting a spell together.
When they fired the spell, tens of tier 4 fireballs flew toward the sky.
After less than ten seconds…
Tens of meteorites hit White and the ground around him, leaving only ashes behind.
On the other side of the field…
[HAHAHAHA! That arrogant idiot died just like this!]
Sugar was laughing to her heart content while looking at the battle between the dodos.
"What happened?"
[It's the first time that White gets killed in this simulated world, and he died from some tier 4 spells, haha!]
"How much should I practice before casting the easiest spell?"
[I don't think it will need too much time… Sometimes are needed months of practice, fortunately, the time in the virtual world is different from the real one… one day in the real world is like 4 days in the virtual one.
I would say that with your talent, if you practice seriously, you should need around only a week, after all, you are barely able to make the mana flow within your body…
Work hard, that is all you need to do for casting spells.]
"How much time should I need to become at White's level?"
[Hey, you are talking about a higher caster, you know?
I can make a prediction only once you become a peak lower caster.]
"Do you mind explaining a little?"
[You only need to know that spells are divided between lower and higher tier, all the spell from tier 0 to tier 4 are lower tier, while those from tier 5, to at least tier 8 are higher tier]
"How strong is a tier 8 spell?"
[Do you see that hill over there?]
An arrow compared over a 500 meters tall hill.
"yes, why?"
After I answered, the temperature around me rose as another star appeared in the sky.
[That is a tier 8 fireball… Enjoy the show]
While the tier 8 fireball fell from the sky… I couldn't even move a muscle, my body was completely locked!
"What the hell… No one can survive to something like this, right?"
[Tier 8 casters can]
When the fireball hit the hill, it caused an earthquake, every dodo watched at the show with admiration, some of them even cried.
"Why this strong reaction from the dodos?"
[That is the signature spell that my father uses to end his battles…]
"I understand… "
After the earthquake calmed down, I returned practicing in silence.
While practicing, I could see the dodos around me firing spells, everyone one of them could already cast tier 4 spells.
"There are a lot of dodos here…"
[Yes, it isn't like they have anything else to do, from when they learned that the mana density is rising, they continued training every day, unfortunately for them, no matter how much hard work and time you put on it, if you aren't talented enough, you will never become a higher caster.
It's quite sad…]
"Everyone is just doing what they can, it's always better training rather than doing nothing, don't you think?"
[Yeah, but the sad thing that I am talking about is the light of hope that we can see shining in their eyes]
"Who knows, maybe we will find a way in the future"
[You are right, maybe… ]
