The Mage Prince stood near the edge of the Stargazer Tower of Kōri. Letting the cold wind blow to his face, letting his golden locks brush through his face. Doing this isn't a good idea, I suppose. The prince thought. The prince smirked at the presence behind him. Looking behind him, a man fully covered with black clothing, covering the whole face and body. Pointing a sword towards the prince's face. "How quiet of you that you managed to reach me here" The Prince smirked. The mage prince jumped off the edge of the tall tower, creating magical crystals attacking the man in black though it was avoided. Many people from below were alarmed by the loud shattering of crystals. "The prince is being attacked!" Yelled a worker from below. "Goodbye," The prince smirked again, summoning his staff and blasting the man away from him. Falling to the ground gracefully, his loyal servant, Yui came to him. "Are you alright, your highness?" The magical creature spoke, eyes filled with worry. "Don't worry, I'm fine" The Prince replied with his fake smile across his face. "Secure the land, and so is the castle" The royal guards yelled.
The Prince sat on the small steps to the king's throne as he does not want to sit on the throne if he isn't going to accept the crown. "Yui, I am really alright. You can continue whatever you were doing" The Mage Prince reassured his created servant. "Yes, Your Highness" Yui replied. The servant left leaving the Mage Prince alone. Hiromitsu sighed, removing his mask of fake smiles. "I don't know what step I'll take this time" The Prince hugged his knees and sulked. He doesn't know what to do with this attackers. He just wants to die and leave this world and be at peace but he can't have that happening. If he dies, those attackers will take control of their kingdom, his subjects or those who relies on him will suffer, those he love so much will suffer. He'd rather live and be in pain than die and be at peace but have those important to him suffer. He just can't die. If only he wasn't the son of the Great Mage of Kōri then living wouldn't be so hard. Other than his brother and his subjects, he has no more reasons to live. He knows that his brother will soon get over the death but his subjects will suffer and die. Suddenly, a huge flash of iridescent light appeared. The Prince wiped the tears that he didn't know that fell from his face and stood straight, knowing this might be his brother. I can't let him see me like this. He thought and plastered on another fake smile across his face. The iridescent light disappeared, revealing three familiar people.
The Moon Prince jumped and hugged his older brother. "Are you alright? I was so so worried" The Mage Prince hugged back. "Yes, yes I am" The Moon Prince pulled away. "How did you know what happened?" Hiromitsu asked out of curiosity. "A prince born under the full moon has abilities that no one can imagine" The Prince winked. "Are you alright, though? Tell me the truth" The Moon Prince added. "You don't see any wounds or injuries, right? I am fine" The Mage prince smiled, reassuring his brother. It was no lie though, he is fine. Physically. But deep inside, he was broken, he's in pain, he's not fine. The thought of wanting to die was replaced by the smiles of his younger brother and the others with him. "Your Majesty, King Takahiro of Suna. What brings you here?" The Mage Prince approached his brother-in-law and shook his hand. "I heard from Hiroki and Sakura that there's a great Archeologist here. I'd like to meet him. Once his expedition ends, I'd like him to work for my kingdom. Deserts do have a lot of ruins" The King spoke. "He sure is a great Archeologist, I must say" The Prince smiled. "And I also want to know the reason of my sister's occasional visit here" The King ruffled his sister's hair. Which made the Princes laugh. "I assure you, Naoyuki is the nicest person you will meet" The Prince chuckled. "See, even Prince Hiromitsu approves his kindness. He's not a brat, brother" The Desert Princess frowned, hitting his brother's arm. "Stop it, you two" Hiroki laughed. "You know, Hiromitsu. You should find your own Warrior Prince" The Moon Prince whispered. Hiromitsu looked at his brother with a puzzling look. Why would he want him to have a Warrior Prince? He is sure his brother is aware of his abilities and he wouldn't need anyone to protect him. "You need protection, Hiromitsu. Your enemies aren't just mages with magical powers, they are dark mages with magical powers and inhumane ability. Ability that Ninja's have, abilities that you don't" The Moon Prince added. Hiroki knows his brother's abilities and he knows that he can defeat them by himself but he also knows he would not be able to do that at this state. He may not know the reason behind this pain his brother is feeling, but he knows when he needs help, when he needs someone to save him from this pool of sadness. He knows this fake smile that Prince Hiromitsu has been making and he wants it to disappear. He knows that the idea of a Warrior Prince beside his brother is a good idea, after all, it is suggested by another royalty who has the same abilities as him. "Alright. I will look for one" The Mage Prince just accepted. He didn't want to disappoint his brother and force him to this so he'll just agree but he knows he doesn't need someone to protect him, he can do it on his own, or maybe, he can't do it on his own. He's still confused.
Another light formed in the middle of the throne room, Sakura and Hiromitsu smiled, knowing who is going to appear. "Naoyuki!" Screamed the princess after the light revealed the Archeologist. "So this is the one you have been talking about" The King spoke. Naoyuki was taken aback. Not knowing whoever this tall raven-haired man in front of him. "Oh, Naoyuki. Meet my brother, King Takahiro of Suna" The Princess introduced. "King? Oh. It's nice meeting you, Your Majesty" Naoyuki bowed. "Nice meeting you two" The King responded. "Oh, uhm. Princess, I have something to give you" The Archeologist took out the bouquet of sacred Sakura flowers from his leather satchel and handed it to the princess. "These are the Sakura flowers you wanted. The Nihon Princess, Tsukuyomi gave me the permission to give you a bouquet of flowers from The Sacred Tree of Mirai" Naoyuki explained. "Thank you very much" The Princess hugged the taller boy in front of her. The Princes chuckled with happiness and laughter while The King was obviously annoyed by the hugging and affection and the flowers. "Alright, that's enough" He parted the two, making Sakura glare at her brother.
Naoyuki approached the mage prince. "Oh, uhm. Your Highness, there is something I'd like to tell you" Naoyuki spoke. "Yes?" The mage answered with puzzling looks. "Well, you see, Princess Tsukuyomi had a request and--- The Archeologist was stopped. Looking at the center of the room, a light with a shade of red appeared, revealing a tall tanned man wearing a black armor and red helmet with black cape and a katana with markings on the blade. The King and so is the moon prince reacted to the sight, not knowing who appeared in front of them. Here is then. Thought Naoyuki.
